All this TLDs are useless. It costly initially and ppl get confusing. will ask xyz.coffee ?? or xyz.coffee.com ? will put .com at the end.

More TLD's coming this week!

Will you have the new TLD's that just came into existance? Like .coffee, .pics, etc?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Internet_top-level_domains#ICANN-era_generic_top-level_domains

Are you saying that you lost coins or you just lost data from the application itself?

No coins. I store my coins online. I lost my data.

I just install mulitbit to check how it works and how can i store it offline.

Thank god i had not stored my btc offline.

But i need to restore my data that was important too

I think i need to search for any free data recovery software for it.

Yes exactly. Where it is hosted? who own server?

1) Even where blockchain.info is hosted?
2) who own blockchain server and on which data center?
3) Who has access to that server?
4) What about blockchain backup in case of server crash?

Re: Stay away from bitpay.com payment gatway

They advertise as 1% transaction but they even charge 0.01 BTC to transfer it in your wallet.

People use bitcoin because of low fees buy companies . Then what wrong to use payal or credit card payment gate .
Why to use bitcoin if this much charges.

Dear Members,

Beware before you use bitpay.com payment gateway. I had signup for their start plan which on 1% transaction fees and no other fees.

No doubt their payment gateway is very good and easy but see how do they cheat.

I had started receving payments from few clients. When i login to bitpay account i see there was mention on top " YYou are currently enabled for up to $100/day. Would you like to raise your daily limit? "
I thought it might be for verification level like igot, may be asking for my ID or other thing to verify so i click on it and then click on there was apply for Basic level to get $1000/day limit. There was not mention there it charged $30 a month fees. I click on that and got confirmation email for plan upgrade. I realised that it was not verification but was of plan upgrade.

Hence i immidiately contact their customer support if its a fees then do not consider this upgrade. They customer support told me that You have only confirmed hence they cant do anything now.
I am pasting below the communication with their support:

Regarding upgrade

Hello Support,

I have click on raise your daily limit and applied for baisc. I hope there was not any monthly fees for it. Please confirm.

If there is any monthly fees then please cancel it and leave my plan as it is at 1% transaction fees.

Thanks,

Dhaval

Dhaval,

There is a $30/month charge associated with our Basic plan. If you confirmed that you would like your account approved for the plan, this charge will be debited against your merchant ledger, and you will receive the benefits associated with that plan for one month. Note that the 1% transaction fee is waived for the Basic plan. If you do not process any transactions for the month, your ledger will be credited with an "underutilization credit" that will negate the $30 fee. Let me know if you have additional questions. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Dhaval,

We are unable to ignore your upgrade request as it has been confirmed by you. As I mentioned below, you will not be subject to the 1% transaction fee for the duration of the month, and if you have no transactions the $30 will be returned to your ledger. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Dhaval,

I'm going to check with my team to see if we're able to credit your ledger for the amount of the plan charge. I'll be back in touch with you soon. Thank you.

Yes please. There should be transparency and honesty in business if you are looking for long term business.

Dhaval,

We try to make it clear by asking merchants to confirm when they choose to sign up for one of our paid plans. I'm happy to provide any feedback you may have if the confirmation request was unclear (or if the messaging around the pricing information isn't clear). As I mentioned below, I'll be back in touch with you once I've discussed this issue with my team. Thank you.

Sincerely,

It depends on my partner what he want to provide me. What ever BTC will be gained from mining will be shared amount us.
The current power bill comes Rs.300 to Rs.350 for 2 months.

I am the only person in my office and using one pc.

Need Mining partner

Dear All,

I am looking for mining partner.
I have office and time to work for mining. I am looking for partner who can provide hardware for it.

I never have done mining before but i have learn much about bitcoins and also done many transactions.

I have also gone through website like bitcionmining.com but as i said i have not done mining before so my partner need to suggest me which pool should be use and software for it.
Infact partner need to give me initial setup for it.  I have office space with electricity connection.

The partnership will be decided upon weather electricity and internet bill will be paid by me or will be shared.

I am located in Rajkot/ Gujarat , hence I will be preferring partner from nearest location.

Ahemdabad or other city of gujarat or Mumbai will also work.

Regards,

Dhaval

Sorry for asking silly question.

Suppose i have 1 BTC in my wallet and I take a backup of it. Then i send that 1BTC so some other address and my wallet becomes empty.
And now if i restore that backup which i had taken while it was having 1BTC. Will i get duplicate BTC which i already spent?

Why do fool us like this and show that they are charging 1% and 3% fees. Instead they should show correct exchange rate and no matter they clear charge 5% or 10% for their risk.
Btw please explain how exactly do you determine the correct exchange rate. Correct exchange rate should mean at that particular rate, any one including the exchange itself should be able to both buy and sell any number of bitcoins without violating any kind of regulations.

I don't agree with it.

There are bitcion exchange.

The price should be as of xe.com (must popular) or should be as of http://bitcoinprices.com/

Thanks i that case igot is much cheaper then unocoin

If i buy 1 bitcoin today from unocoin i get at 28814 (after deducting their fees)
and
If i buy 1 bitcoin today from igot i get at 28295 (after deducting their fees)

Today's price at igot is Buy Price: 28118.20 (3% Fees + Tax)
and at unocoin buy price is 27870 ( 1% fees, no tax)

And difference is of Rs.500

So to whom should we choose?

Who has clear transparency in business?

dashingriddler thanks for much explanation but still did not got answer to my query.
How come their script showing incorrect rates? Did it not synchronize with exchange rate?

Why do fool us like this and show that they are charging 1% and 3% fees. Instead they should show correct exchange rate and no matter they clear charge 5% or 10% for their risk.

However in USD that whatever the exhange rate is on xe or money control we buy/sell it on difference 50 paise

It means the site unocoin put their own rate for bitcion and + fees.

Then the better place will be like localbitcion where buyer sell meets personal and pay them fees of 1% or whatever.

Hello

Did anyone notice these buying selling bitcoin sites like unocoin and igot fooling us by shiowing incorrect market rate of bitcoin than showing in exchange websites like bitcoinpricerate.org  ,preev.com , xe.com.
The unocoin Charges 3% + tax and igot charges 1% fees but they actually charges unocoin 7-10% and igot 3-5% by fooling us showing incorrect live rate. Compare the rate with exchange sites and share openion.
