I'm putting my KeepKey back in the safe...Yeah at that point you might as well add 200 bucks and get the 12TH + from the S9
At that price, R4 is just another expensive miner at 1.4k - the S9 12.93TH dropping to 1.6k is a "better bargain" - the miner is going to be at my ISP anyways and who cares about the noise.... but I want to wait for the A7 for bit more before pulling trigger for more S9s.
The A7 (or whatever they end up calling it) is more intriguing to me than anything BM puts out. So I'm still chugging away with just a few A6s.

Yup...you are correct, Grasshopper...our individual percentages decrease as the pool hash rate increases...but the balance is we find more blocks.
We *should* find more blocks. Luck being what it is, it's very possible that we don't! She is a fickle woman!

OK...here it is for youz guyz who use Imgur...
Y'all need to edit your images to be more like 300 pixels or so wide max. It isn't intuitive. Once you have the image uploaded, hover over it in your Images thumbs, and then click on the Edit icon on the image (the pencil). Then click on the Edit button that appears in the upper right-hand corner of the Images thumbs. That will bring up your image on a layer background. Then click on the width value in the right-hand window, noting that the Proportions are locked (leave it that way). Change the width value to what you want (I usually pick 300 to 350), click Enter, and the image will resize. Click on Save. Then do your thing to copy/paste etc.

You don't even have to do that.
Once you upload your image to imgur (if that's your preferred storage location), all you have to do is go click on the image. You'll be presented with various links to access that image.
Down at the very bottom right there are some options labeled "sizes"
Just click one of the others (medium thumbnail, small thumbnail, etc). What will happen is as soon as you click on that, all of the links directly above will update. Then just use that link to share your image. It'll automatically be smaller

With two gekkosticks you'll never receive a payment.
While dust is tracked it doesn't just "add up" until it hits some threshold and then gets paid out.
kano has noted many times that maybe somewhere in the distant future he'll code that ability in and when he does you'll get paid whatever you're owed.

Not a windows app per se. If you're any good with servers this is easy to get running

kano does not sweep the dust and pay it out.
he's on record saying that maybe some day in the far far future that'll happen (probably around when he gets to autopayouts if im guessing).

Looks like coinbase is now asking where your BTC is going every time you send it out, to another exchange or not.

When the next batch of S9's become available and assuming that the price will still be 2100 USD (I am not intending on starting a debate on what the price will be), does Bitmain adjust the BTC amount to reflect the current exchange rate of BTC/USD?
Generally yes. BUT they only do it once per batch from what I've noticed (mind you I dont pay real close attention).
So they set the price when the batch is made available for purchase and the BTC cost stays the same (even if the BTC/USD price changes) until the next.
slightly off topic.. whats the avg cost to upgrade from 125a to 200a box? my orig 1960's 125a is maxed out

I assume you mean having an electrician come in to do the work.
It's going to vary in location and the status of your current box (is it up to code, what other work needs to be done, etc).
That 2800 could be very reasonable or it could be high

We get back into the green and have some really good block days and of course i have most of my machines down for the whole week due to family being in town for a wedding. how am i supposed to hit ROI if family thinks they can crash at my house for free room/board when they are in town.
managed to keep 2 batch 7s running using wifi adapters and stashing them in the garage so its not a total lose this week but still sucks to be down.
We get back into the green and have some really good block days and of course i have most of my machines down for the whole week due to family being in town for a wedding. how am i supposed to hit ROI if family thinks they can crash at my house for free room/board when they are in town.

Who says the room and board has to be free?! recoup your costs, this should be seen an opportunity!

well it looks like my S7 is going to be delivered while I'll be away on a prolonged week-end and attending the ACDC concert...
