Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay?
by
beatzcoin123
on 23/07/2019, 06:50:45 UTC
Bitcoin volatility is here to stay because what we call volatility is actually a distinctive feature of bitcoin. As an investor in bitcoin, one will expect price to continually go up while we sit down and smile, but reverse tends to be the case. Volatility nature of bitcoin tends to always ensures there is even balancing and regulations in price.

It is very possible to see bitcoin return to such amount this year, with the current downthread within the last 24 hours scares the hell out of me. The us government has not been a fan of bitcoin and this is taking a tow on the worth of the token. But not to worry, bitcoin will survive, it has always survive the hoax.

Re: Uganda says cryptocurrency is risky
by

At the end, is the risk worth taking or embarking on? my answer is YES, crypto currency is risky but at the end its worth the risk, Just like putting your money in the bank and unfortunately the bank folded up due to some incontigences, what will become of its share holders? So you see life itself is risky.

Re: To be or not to be. What to invest in?
by
beatzcoin123

Forecasts for bitcoin in 2018 are rather ambiguous. On one hand, some analysts predict gloomy future due to the current unstable situation.
On the other hand, optimists predict bitcoin a rapid increase in quotations, which must exceed its maximum threshold next year in the history of the existence of cryptology.
Although Bitcoin is still in a state of uncertainty. So many of you were wondering what to invest. Therefore, I had the idea to write a several alternatives for investing.
1. Bonds
A good alternative to deposits is bonds. The plus of this instrument is the absence of taxation. And from the same deposits, the tax on income of natural persons in the amount of 18%. But the percentage is different in different countries.
2.Gold
Investments in precious metals should be considered with a sight for 3-5 years.
Silver and gold are traditionally considered to be a long-term instrument to protect you against inflation. They are also interesting because, in 2018, the growth of the cost of precious metals can reach 10-20% in the world. And this gives the possibility of additional income. Therefore, you can invest up to 20% of savings, for example, invest monety / ingots or look at the so-called gold deposits.
3.Real estate
To invest in real estate is required neatly. You can choose an attractive option for a long time in the secondary market as well.True, it must be remembered that investment in real estate pays off for a long time - 10-20 years. And in the case of force majeure, housing will not be sold quickly .
4.Bitcoin: Interesting, but risky
In cryptology you need to invest carefully. The market is speculative, can sharply grow and fall. In 2017, bitcoin cost about 19,000 dollars, now - about 8 thousand dollars. Intraday fluctuations of the Crypto-currency may be 25%. You need to have iron nerves to withstand the jumps, because you can lose everything. At the same time, how much will Bitkoin cost at the end of 2018, it is unknown, because all bold forecasts have come true. But one should not think that cryptography is a costly investment.

Therefore, the choice is up to you as always.
Though volatile in nature and uncertain, but I will still prefer investment in btc, though i have lost alot in crypto currency but it cannot be quantify with the profit I have made in less than 24hours in crypto. Dont get me wrong, those other form of investment options are very very good investment option but bitcoin seems to be the best but more riskier investment option. L

I invested in btc during the bear market and am still holding, will continue holding till bitcoin hits 20000usd again, i think the only way to get the crypto space in a standard form is when we begin to see it as a long term investment platform and not a get rich quick syndrome.

I dont foresee a possibility of crypto currency taking over fiat completely. But what i can categorically tell you is that crypto will be here for a long time, to compete side by side with fiat, Thats the beauty.

Paper money has no value other than the value placed on it by the government, i mean whats the different between a 20usd note and a 100usd note? are they not both notes? but one is valued more than the other thats all. So saying bitcoin is worthless is an illusion, your bitcoin is worth what you say its worth.

by

holding still remains the best approach to enhance hike in prices in crypto, hodl creat scarcity which in turns increases demand vis a vis the price of such commodity. For the continual survival of the crypto space, the hodl strategy must be fully utilize.

It wont be too right to speculate about other coins superceeding or taking over bitcoin dominance in the crypto space, as no one knows what tomorrow holds. But as it stands, bitcoin still remain the king of crypto currency, I dont see a coin taking over from bitcoin soon, not even in the near future.

I would rather view crypto currency as a currency of the internet, in other word, crypto currency are digital currency that are acceptable though not generally as there is still lots of persons around the globe that are yet to be aware of what crypto currency is all about. It is a means of payment digitally.

in this article, i see lot of sense in ray youseff words, bitcoin and crypto currency in general have got lots of untapped potentials in the African market. The major setback is the lack of information, lack of stabble power supply. African countries have got free pass laws that favour crypto, but the information is lacking behind.

The blockchain technology is going to take over the normal way of doing thing globally, i.e the electoral system, the educational system to name a few will be integrated into the blockchain technology to enable flexibility and transparency. Though i cannot categorically say what the future holds for cryptocurrency.
