Okay so we have had some positive news from Vitaliy. It's hard to understand why they didn't just announce that rather than leave people in the dark. That's when people panic.

They are having issues with Crypto capital processing payments. I have screen shots of the chat one of the guys had with him on fb but don't know how to load then on here.

Oh god, another one, it must be Vitaliy himself.

Mr. Kedyk, tell us if you also hired Crypto Capital to handle tech support for CEX and reply with nonsense once every two months?
Or maybe they're to blame for robbing people of Bitcoin Cash as well?

The paperwork is already in the works, we'll soon see how much your scammy business is worth in the UK.

Would you please be so kind as to clarify what do you mean by "robbing people of Bitcoin Cash as well"?

Dear CEX, I kind of understand your situation here, It is more than clear that Federal regulations are causing are to blame for this whole damn issue. They simply don't clear your Wires, even if you say that's not true!

1- Why do you spend time replying to that nonsense above? Everyone even with Low-IQ can see that Facebook page is a scam and try to steal people's information and money all with fake name Benoit Goldberg, Frank blahblah

2- Give us a sense of how long do you think the problem with clearing houses will last?

Thanks

Dear Cex,

Some guy has who claims to work in one of France's biggest bank, that Cex has had all it's accounts frozen and is under investigation. Is this claim true? Could you shed some light on this accusations as it is very worrying to hear.

Sorry Arkadash! But all what you do in this forum is spreading stupid non-sense just go back and check your posts!

Re: CEX.IO Withdrawal times - any experience?

for me the withdrawal times are a mixed experience so far. I've had some SEPA transactions received in a few days, but 2 others initiated end of December as well, took almost a month to arrive. Same with $ withdrawals, some within days, 2 still outstanding since a month, even though marked as sent.

This is very interesting, Can we say higher amounts get stuck or it's just random? were your all SEPA or SWIFT too?

I have asked more than 10 times for a simple mt103 reference number, waiting almost a month for withdrawal that is confirmed.  Why can't you simply send me that number?

This is actually one of the best case descriptions I've seen so far!

I guess I will add my "query" to the list in hopes that CEX.IO customer service might see it and expedite a solution:

Initial bank withdrawal request made on 4 January (transaction ID#5350343949) was "pending" up until 10 January when the status was changed to "sent", and here it is 3 or 4 days later and nothing in my bank account.  The amount was US$17,000 minus their absurd fee of $50.00.  My user name is up113552379 and the ticket number is 624396.  To be fair, my ZEC trade and withdrawal happened almost instantly, my Ether trade was instant though the withdrawal has taken days to appear in my wallet, and my BTC exchange was efficient and fast as well.  Little did I know that getting my fiat money would take the month that it already has!!

I am aware that CEX.IO has a disclosure statement saying that bank transfers may take from 3 to 30 days...but they also list the United States on their list of "restricted for withdrawals" -- explained on their "limitations and fees" page as limited amounts per withdrawal per account per day or per month -- limits that my own withdrawal is well under.

Besides confusing the terms "restricted" and "limited", I have been told via email and in other ticket responses that "withdrawals to U.S. based accounts are not available" -- which is very different from merely restricted or limited -- and they seem to mean not just bank withdrawals, but Master Cards and Visa Cards as well.  If that is true, and considering the numbers of customers from the United States, it would seem WAY more straightforward to put a CLEAR WARNING to U.S. customers on the HOME PAGE instead of couching it in confusing terms, hiding it among long lists of country names in footnotes, and with arbitrary explanations (i.e. legal issues and changes that "we will surely let you know...").

Also, to be fair, besides credit card withdrawals and bank withdrawals, they permit the use of Crypto Capital accounts for fiat money transfers.  If CEX.IO would have simply cancelled my withdrawal so that my US$ had reappeared in my account I would have used this service and probably had my money by now, but my money has been unavailable to me since 4 January as it has been "pending..." (i.e. stolen).

Re: legal action to take against CEX.IO -- if you look at the Terms of Use page, under paragraph 23. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION,
it says, "All disputes and controversies arising out of or in connection with this website and these Terms of Use shall be submitted to the United Kingdom Court in London (main office), as the Court of first instance."  Just FYI....

Best Wishes All,

Jeff Danese

I have 300,000 EUR blocked in "Bank Transfer Completed" and "SEPA Bank Transfer" with no updates for 2 weeks and no money in my bank account.

Their support is saying they are working around the clock and it will take extra time but does not say how much.

At this point I don't think I will ever be receiving this kind of money from cex.io and I am thinking to talk to a proper legal firm that can start a legal action.

My guess is they don't have enough cash to process all withdrawals and are waiting to cash in from ETH and BTC sales.

300k? O'boy!

Thanks for this but Although I am waiting for my money, based on my research THEY ALWAYS PAY, it was partly my fault. They basically indicated they Wire transfers may take up to 60 days I thought that would never happen!

So I hope I will receive my funds soon if you go back in this post, you will see almost everyone received at the end. But people participate in the conversation as long as they did not have their money, they get their money and they will never show up here, that's unfortunatley human being! Selfish and short-sighted!

Still waiting for my 15kusd, support is terrible. Let's help lose customers for CEX, they do not embrace this business. up107139385

I am following your case, you initially said 44K was not sent, now you say 15k? Does that mean you received the rest?

IF YOU RECEIVED PLEASE TELL THAT BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE HERE FEEL LIKE THEY WOULD NEVER GET THEIR MONEY

Something dodgy going on with CEX. What the claim to be the reason for delayed withdrawals is simply bullshit. that's why?

1- they say because of too many requests and number of users
Bullshit: This is a situation all exchanges facing, why Kraken doesn't seize your withdrawal for 1-2 months?

What else can be the reason?

Simple advice: STAY AWAY FROM CEX, OTHER EXCHANGES CREDIT YOUR MONEY IN 2-3 DAYS!

YOU WANT TO WAIT 2-3 MONTHS GO WITH CEX

We sincerely apologize for inconveniences you may have experienced with delays. We are already undertaking all measures to lift ticket and verification procedures. Read more here.

From what I've read CEX always does those withdrawals at the end!
I red somewhere on CEX that they approve bank transfers within a day

Please kindly take a look at my ticket
