I think so. It's only a matter of time before ETH overtakes BTC marketcap. Purely due to its supirior product. Don't get me wrong, I am an investor of both, but BTC is too slow and too expensive. And also, with the up coming Casper update, ETH can moon. I am hoping Bitcoin will do something about this. They take way too long and no announcements are being made. Time to move on with the lighting network.

Why would it be the downfall? I don't see that happening. However, Bitcoin will need to do something about their transactions. It's Almost unusable. And too expensive.

2018 will be a great year for crypto. Only put your money in to projects you believe in.

There is no age. Any age at which they are capable of understanding is a good time to start. At each stage you can explain it to them differently.

ETH is considered 2nd Generation crypto, while Bitcoing is generation 1. You take IOTA or ADA are considered 3rd Generation. The eventually winner will be the one that offers the best product. ETH will soon come out with Casper and plasma activations. Once that happens it's expected to handle much larger number of transactions per minute. Upto 100mn per second. BTC will come out with the lighting nextwork. Let see, only time.will tell

If Bitcoin does not update it's product it's only a matter of.time before someone else overtakes them. It can happen to any company in technology. If you don't innovate you will end up getting lost.

Fears are plenty. As it is, the Bitcoin technology is obselete. They have to move on soon. The network is too slow and almost unable. It's only a matter of time before someone else overtakes them. Probably ETH. Or ADA or even IOTA.

It will never be an international currency. It will however be accepted internationally. This many take as much as 10-15years imo. Intracture needs to fall in place, technology needs to improve. As of now, BTC is almost unable.

Interesting to see where this heads. With the CAME contracts coming to an end, I feel Bitcoin will move up. Perhaps towards the 14,000 range. Let's see the support around there

I don't think this is as straight forward anymore. Especially with the future markets now. I feel it's highly manipulated for the big boys to earn maximum profit. Best way is to buy and HODL long term.
