I feel like most other businesses or investments, people create their own coins to reap financial rewards as well as fulfill a need they see in the market. Some will do well, others will taper off and die.

I think your fears are felt by many of us in the crypto world. The good news is there are definitely a lot of ways to minimize risk of being hacked or having your crypto stolen. Using 2fa authentication and storing certain coins on something like a nano ledger are some really great options.

I think we are well overdue for another bull run. Cryptocurrencies are the way of the future, and even with this slump we have been seeing we can not be dissuaded. Good things come to those who wait.

I have watched my portfolio shrink and shrink since January, but have held on to what I have. I know that no loss is actually incurred until I sell. I think we are more than due for a nice bull run, and we will start to see the market rebound over the next few months!

Buy low sell high! Things have been very low for a while now, and I think we are due for a nice run! So, yes now would definitely be a good time to enter into the crypto market and get some coins at a nice discounted rate. Hoping to see this downward trend turn around over the next couple of months!

I think that the max we would see ethereum hit this year is anywhere between 1500 and 2000 dollars. I sincerely hope I am wrong, and that it does hit 11k as I will be definitely buying a boat with those types of prices!

I would say that in terms of altcoins, ethereum would have to rank as number 1. With so many other coins being based off the ethereum blockchain it is poised to remain as the number 2 crypto after bitcoin, and the number 1 altcoin.

I think bitcoin will remain the King of crypto and do not see any other coins getting anywhere close to its value in the next year. Ethereum will probably remain second most valuable at approximately 10-15% of bitcoin value. This has typically been the way it works. When bitcoin jumps or drops, altcoins follow suit.

I don't foresee that you will be able to double your money in this market within 2 weeks. Crypto is more of a long term play. The only way I can think of doubling up your money in that time frame would be a risky red or black bet on a roulette table, with a 50% chance of losing all. If you find a way to double your money in 2 weeks, please share with us all!

I would say my favorite long term hold coin right now and over the last year has definitely been ethereum. I have high hopes for the value of this coin and do believe it still has a lot of room for growth. Hopefully we will see a nice run as things begin to recover!

I am definitely down a bunch since January, but am not worried as I believe things will rebound for us in the upcoming months! Have not sold much of anything during this dip, so guess I technically haven't suffered any loss.. yet.

I don't think you should quit crypto for good. I think we see similar patterns every year in this world, and are at a typical down point right now. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail and you can have the patience to hold on for a better looking landscape in the market before you decide to sell your coins! Good Luck!

I think that they are both great investment options! However if I am predicting which of the two has a greater potential for growth, I would have to go with ethereum. I think we will see major growth over the next year in the value of ethereum. I have a long term hold plan for that coin in particular.

I think with how strong of a coin ethereum is, that it will absolutely recover. I think we have been in a pretty long downturn here but that ethereum and bitcoin will be the first to begin the recovery phase. I know I for one do not have any plans of getting rid of any of mine at prices like these.

I don't see ethereum hitting anything close to 15k this year. With the way the market has been going, I would think we would be lucky to see it hit 1500 this year. Maybe eventually the patient people will see prices like that but I don't think it is going to happen this year unfortunately.
