Also the form says 2500 participants, so I would assume 30ETH will be divided up into 2500 parts.

I should mention one of my other non-crypto friends signed up for 3 airdrops.

EXRN - 10000000 tokens
BLUE - 1000 tokens
ELTCOIN - 10000 tokens

Sadly I did not teach her to protect her private key and she responded to a phishing email and gave up her key to a fake website.

Fortunately for her at that time MEW only listed ELTCOIN. Her other two tokens were not immediately visible on the MEW website.

The phisher only stole her ELTCOIN and left her BLUE and EXRN untouched. At that time her ELTCOIN and BLUE tokens were worth about $50 each and EXRN was worthless. (<$20)

I rescued her remaining tokens and sent them to a new wallet and I told her to protect it.

Here we are about 45 days later and her wallet is worth between $3000-$4000. She doesn't know how to sell and I don't even know if she knows what they are worth currently.

Once again I think this proves HODLing is best. Her tokens were worth <$50-$100 for at least the first month I believe... Now they are worth almost 5-10x that and will probably continue to rise in value.

On the other hand my ETH wallet has about 40+ different airdropped tokens for a combined value of < $50. Most are crap. I guess my two friends got lucky with their airdrops.

But crap can turn good with enough time. And is it really worth selling an airdrop for $5 or even $20?

Ha every single one of us probably regrets selling our airdropped tokens for *pennies* each.

Always HODL your airdrop. Give it 3 months before you even think about selling it. If it goes to great heights once it probably will again.

I sold my EXRN for less than $50. Same for my ELTCOIN and BLUE. All three of those coins were late bloomers.

DeepOnion is now at $10 per coin. BLUE is over $1.60 per coin. ELTCOIN is at $0.10.

EXRN airdrop was 10,000,000 tokens to each participant. Everyone got the same amount.
BELUE airdrop was 1000 tokens for most but some people got 10000.
ELTCOIN airdrop was 10000 tokens to each participant.

I talked one of my non-crypto real-life friends into joining some airdrops in October. I showed him how to make (and protect) a MEW wallet and how to join these forums and I would send him links to airdrop forms he could qualify for as a newbie. He signed up for 6 airdrops. He has no desire or intention to sell and he wouldnt know how to even if he wanted. The way he put it was, he's just gonna "let it ride."

For some reason he got 10000 BLUE tokens. Most people only got 1000. And for the first week they sold for around $0.01. I coulda bought 10000 BLUE for just over $100.

I think nobody can say hodling isnt the best way to end up with the most free $.

And all us sold our airdrops for pennies each when we could have sold BLUE for dollars. And ELTCOIN may be next.. I am a fool for selling any of my airdropped tokens. Because you just never know.

It seems like we've all been pasting ineffective retweet links. Please explain or prove me wrong if you can.

As you probably know, many projects use web forms to collect info from us. For many airdrops it is common to ask us to follow their Project on twitter and to retweet a specific tweet.

Proof of our retweet is usually required and we are supposed to provide a link to our retweet.

It is my observation that there is no such thing as a "retweet link" and that we have been doing nothing more than giving a link to the original tweet.

Am I correct in this observation?

When using the Android Facebook app to retweet the common advice given is after retweeting go to your profile and you'll see the tweet you just retweeted. Tap the downarrow under, "You Retweeted", and choose, "Copy link to tweet."

This is supposed to be our "retweet link" but it is not and probably never has been.

Doing this gives me a link to the original tweet and it's the same link for you too. In fact it doesn't even matter if I retweet it or not because the link isn't unique to me and doesn't contain my twitter username. It does not llink back to me in any way. It doesnt even prove that I have a twitter account.

How do I get a retweet url that proves I retweeted something?

Here is what I am doing using the Android facebook app:
1. Click link in airdrop form to get to the ATFS Labs twitter home
2. Click retweet icon at bottom of pinned post. The icon changes color and also a banner now appears above the post that informs me that "You retweeted this post"

Exactly how do I get the url that proves I retweeted something? The "Copy Link to Post" feature just copies a link to the original post. Also the link it copies is the same both before and after I retweet it or if I undo my retweet.

Please provide an example if this is possible of both the original tweet url and of your RT url.

There needs to be a site like virustotal that will let people submit a smart contract address to be scanned for red flags before sending money to it. As things currently are there is no way to know if a smart contract has problems until those problems have affected people or a dev notices something and reports it. All too often we see swaps taking place due to a bug or some other issue that could have been detected right from the start..

Nice project dev! But I think the requirement of 20 posts on a new forum is a huge price of entry. I'd have to say it goes as far as to discourage me from even joining the site as I know I can't do 20 posts anytime soon. 5 posts are more realistic and I urge you to consider lowering it from 20. Thanks!

I agree it's too much lately. Also most of the recent airdrops require that we comment in their ANN thread. With no real info about the project or team it's not so easy to make a valuable post.

I dont know what's worse.. A topic filled with useless but honest posts such as, "joined airdtop". Or a topic filled with alot of zero-value filler posts that often are disingenuous and unrealistically optimistic, imho.

I don't think this first airdrop (round 1) requires any ETH in your wallet. The ANN states there will be a future airdrop for holders of >=0.1 ETH but for now it's not required.
