Announcement of rule changes



Dear Community Members,

We wanted to notify you of the following rule changes in case you didnt read the 2nd post in this thread yet.
The changes will reward active community members by giving them more shares and will fight lazy bounty hunters!

Added a new rule to the Article and video bounty to fight copy pasting.

8. To fight plagiarism we only accept the first original article and/or video. No love for copy&paste cheaters.

Reworked the signature campaign process of obtaining shares.

- The shares for the Peculium signature campaign are now based on the number of post you do
- The number of posts that are eligible for shares has a cap. The cap starts at 0 and is increased by +2 posts every day you are part of the campaign.
- No minimum amount of post for payout needed

Explanation:

We decided to change the payout process because the incentive to join early in the signature campaign was lacking.
Now people who support us from the beginning will benefit much more and will be able to have a higher share of the payout!

It's still quite a bit away and we decided to remove it in case of upcoming changes.
The shares people signed up for are still unchanged.

This step will be implemented to fight current abuse, and to bring the meritocratic distribution that was promised.

Reworked the rules for retweeting and liking @Peculium Tweets

- Only retweets of new Peculium tweets will be counted.
- Only likes of new Peculium tweets and Facebook posts will be counted.

Explanation:

We decided to change the rules to increase the reward for active community members and now every retweet of a new @Peculium tweet will grant you shares, no matter how many a day!
Additionally the new rule will fight lazy bounty hunters who would join on the last day and retweet/like every old @Peculium Tweet.

If you are on the twitter bounty you are also being counted for the Facebook bounty if your Facebook was submitted in the form.
