Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum after 5 years?
by

on 22/11/2017, 14:03:27 UTC
I think bitcoin is more profitable than ethereum in 5 years.
We all know that when it comes to mining ethereum is more profitable than bitcoin but ethereum is not safe  to bet, which is not to say it couldn't pay handsomely.
Bitcoin has more lives than a cat, by an order of magnitude. Betting against bitcoin is just not advisable. The lightning network and other exciting developments play out as expected, bitcoin will retain its crown with ease.

In my country, there's an app which can be downloaded on cell phones. It's also called a wallet Let's say we can also have a bank account. This wallet is here's depositing our wages in the campaign. And in this wallet we can convert bitcoin to cash. And when we convert we can cash out through cabana, Palawan, etc. And we can transfer it to our bank account. Every country have their own and they can only be used.

Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable

Bitcoin is an innovative idea that brings the concept of currency ownership to the peer-to-peer world. Everyone has fiat in one way or another, whether it be in actual coins and dollar bills, or credit.  If you have the cash and you buy something from another person, the only trails that lead back to you or those you leave on your own. Bitcoin is a very volatile currency. There are major price swings (whether it be up or down), and this can even happen on a day to day basis. But the chances of it taking over the fiat world are pretty much non-existent.

Re: Is there a fixed supply of bitcoins around the wolrd or is it printable like $?
by

Based of the total $ 21 millions bitcoins that can be mined, it seems from the existing data https://blockchain.info/charts/total-bitcoins just about $ 16 millions already in mined. There are still $5 millions left. We can not predict how long this remainder will be spent to mining. but obviously supply bitcoins will still continue despite reaching the limit.

I think it's the supply of bitcoin, not the dollar.  Also bitcoin can be transfer with some sort of a hard drive wallet which you can transfer from your bitcoin wallet to that wallet which is more secure because you can take it were ever you want like a usb.

Both are good altcoins with great future. But I think etherium has the upperhand specially on its performance and future developement. Also investors are more attracted on its plans in the future.

All investments have risk. Don't pull all your money because bitcoin is still considered as a volatile investment. Its better to separate your investments in different kind of business like banks or buy a property which also have a secure return of investment.

If you have enough knowledge and skills you can trade or you can invest. But if you do not have the ability and fear of risk you can do a lot of your 5 bitcoins. You can convert it to cash you can buy that property and you can also build a business that you know you can earn. Just as long as the strategic approaches no matter what you enter into, your investment will definitely increase.

Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ?

Bitcoin survives in 100 years?? Maybe yes bitcoin has passed the nine years no one can tell if bitcoin really exists in 100 years. I think it's possible this happens. For nine years more than bitcoin users and they will increase in later years. And over the past few days have become increasingly interested in bitcoin There is a lot of speculation about what really happens in bitcoin in 100 years. Now I'm happy to be here in the forum because I'm one of the people who helped bitcoin.

I actually did not check too much for the price of bitcoin. Maybe because I'm not in trading. When I joined the campaign I checked my coins. pH I'm looking at whether there is a bit high of exchange for bitcoin to peso, but now I realize that it's necessary to get check the price of bitcoin everyday.

So far I have not got much of earned here in bitcoin. My first income in the campaign I have not got hold of it yet. My second wage in the second campaign I buy clothes the other half I gave to my parents. On my third campaign I deposited into my bank account it hard without savings. Bitcoin helped me a lot. No longer headaches where you get money when there is a sudden cost. Diligence and patience are just here in bitcoin You will definitely earn.

This is less likely to happen today. Not all of us know the bitcoin in addition, there is no tax on bitcoin. Bitcoin is not yet acceptable worldwide. Only a few countries know it. Nor is it applicable to all, if the basis for wages is bitcoin how are those small companies, especially when you lose internet unlike cash at any time you can withdraw

I think it's impossible to happen I have not read as much as the income mentioned herein bitcoin. Maybe if you buy bitcoin after 10 years from now there is a possibility that millionaire is now. But if you only know bitcoin now, even full time you can work It will not happen. Especially now that many negatives are happening in bitcoin and the price of bitcoin right now is low and high the price is not stable. It is also the case that especially in campaigns is also not stable.

Re: Government & Bitcoin
by

I think it's getting started now That the government is studying block chain technology. Impossible, as is the case with the government is aware that many block chain users are. Maybe today they've learned how to get them started. I also think that now they are afraid that the traditional currency can be replaced by digital currency. It's only possible if they accept block chain technology do not let the government manipulate it because we all know that abusive government officials will not be lost.

Re: Segwit2x is dead, long live Bitcoin
by

on 13/11/2017, 07:48:24 UTC
Advocates for a bitcoin hard fork have now decided to cancel plans for the so-called SegWit2x fork. The bitcoin block chain was supposed to split into two block chains in roughly 8 days. But it looks like SegWit2x backers couldn’t convince enough people in the bitcoin community to make the SegWit2x block chain the new mainstream bitcoin block chain. SegWit2x will therefore not activate Nov. 16 as planned, Belshe isn't naming a possible future date. “Our goal has always been a smooth upgrade for Bitcoin. Although we strongly believe in the need for a larger block size, there is something we believe is even more important: keeping the community together. Unfortunately, it is clear that we have not built sufficient consensus for a clean blocksize upgrade at this time. Continuing on the current path could divide the community and be a setback to Bitcoin’s growth. This was never the goal of SegWit2x.”

Re: Bitcoin Cash fork and its effects on Bitcoin
by
bellamae
on 13/11/2017, 07:35:38 UTC
Charles Hayter, co-founder of crypto exchange service CryptoCompare, for example, noted that he believes consumers may be misled by the option to choose between two competing coins – and he wasn't alone.
"In the long term, these two variants will cause confusion with their similar naming which no doubt will cause some problems," he said. Because of issues like these, and others perhaps unforeseen, Van der Chijs said he expects the combined price of bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash to fall below $2,700, the average recent price of bitcoin as observed on the CoinDesk Bitcoin Price Index (BPI). Kevin Zhou, operator of crypto hedge fund Galois Capital, responded similarly, arguing that he believes the fork will be "lopsided" in how it allocates the underlying network effect between the two competing technologies.
