2 gridseed questions related to scrypt only hashing:
1) What is the maximum people have clocked the 5 chip gridseeds up to with acceptable results?
I normally run mine at 900 (381K) although they appear to run at 950 (402K/s) with few hardware errors (at least in my limited testing).
At 975 they do about 412/413K.
At 1000 they do 423K.
2) What is an "acceptable" amount of hardware errors? 1 a minute? 5? 10?
3) Is there a way with cgminer to specify a frequency for each specific gridseed without using a separate instance of cgminer?

Re: cgminer crashes with more than 2 Gridseed ASICs on Windows
I am having the same issue,,, when I try to run all 4 of my gridseeds on my Win 7 machine, it crashes. I have tried your fix, starting cgminer first, with all the USB plugs unplugged, and then plugging them in. I am able to get 3 of them connected this way, but when I go for the 4th... no matter which unit i plug in, its always the fourth one is when cgminer crashes. does anyone have any input on a way i can maybe fix this? it would be REALLY helpful!. Also, I have two voltage modded grideeds, and 2 regular gridseeds.. am i able to run two of them at the stock core, and 2 of them at 1000mhz core all in the same process of cgminer? if this is possible could someone please help m,e write the config file that would make it work properly. thanks so much
Ok,they added support of debit cards and so tried to link my card again and got this message "Error: Your verification charge could not be processed".
Called my bank and they say that all the transcations are cancelled because they are "quasi cash" which is not allowed by them.So WTF? Can anyone confirm it or tell me what to do? I've got several another credit cards but all of them are mastercard,so i can't solve this problem.

Obviously it isn't Coinbase. It's your Bank.
What bank do you have? I suggest using another Bank or Credit Union. So far I haven't had a problem using Citi Bank.

I'm starting to wonder if even at these prices if its worth the investment other than for the fun factor. Definitely not a good idea if mining for profit. At current rate it will take 191 days to break even on the investment of 1 BTC using 1 of these USB sticks. And we all know that number isn't set in stone and will more than likely quadruple the amount of time it will take to break even within that 191 days with all these bigger ASIC devices coming out... Just my 2 cents.

Not for me. I get the "server took too long, maybe too busy" error in chrome when trying to access the site.

ben62884 - I mine LTC on cgminer without any problem from DAY ONE (about 3 LTC/day)

Yes, I changed my config file to include the --scrypt at the beginning. when i am mining BTC i get 550MH/s but when switching to scrypt it changes to KH/s but i am constantly getting HW errors that is my problem. And even if i use default settings I get many many HW error in cgminer
