Re: World falling apart?
by

Anyone else follow world events closely? It seems like there is more and more disasters, mostly manmade, by the day. Along with the threats of war, plagues, and general environmental decline.
I'm not trying to post one of those 'the sky is falling' threads, but if you look closely there's a lot of negative events coming at us from many different angles.

Things seem to be falling apart, and I think it has been building up to this for quite some time.

Dude, despite the turmoil, life on planet Earth in 2021 for the majority of humanity is light years better than 50 years ago.

I don't believe any of the above. I bought btc because it was trending. It has kept trending and made me some very nice return, and this is -surprise surprise- why I still hold and buy btc. It's a zero anxiety long game.

Man, i wish the devs would get on here and post and promote their product - we haven't heard any updates in awhile - they are just sitting with a bunch of my ether chilling like wtf
B

Yeah exactly. They're turning their backs on all the hype and interest.

I don't think it is a scam either, but the BitIndia team really needs to do more ground work to build trust and understanding in the community. Their whitepaper helps, but any YouTube video they release seems to capture only half a thought. In fact, I learned more about BitIndia from listening to John Mcafee talk for five minutes than in any of BitIndia's own YouTube promotional videos. From the bits I know, it sounds like a very cool and empowering idea for rural India, but the team seems so ragtag...just makes it a difficult buy.

I think ANS is really great, since China is such a big market. It will gain a lot of momentum! Simply because of the numbers they have an advantage.

I appreciate your comment, but this sort of thinking is problematic. Chinese are typically buying crypto to diversify their wealth into non-China controlled assets. Chinese coins might gain some backing, but I don't think they will ever be nearly as popular in China as non-Chinese coins, even if those non-Chinese coins are --ironically-- predominantly mined in China, like Bitcoin.

Being over $2000 is not normal for bitcoin. People surprised by this have short memories.

Fair point. I've been following Bitcoin since 2013, but I can't help but get excited about cheap prices. It's like your favourite store having its annual sale.  Cheesy

Woke up this morning to the craziest dip in a while. Was high time a correction like this happened. Aug 1 might be a blessing in disguise, getting all of this speculation money out of BTC and bringing it to a value that is in line with the technology. I'm predicting we drop below $1900 in the next few hours. Who knows how low it will go before Aug 1!!

Antshares not following Bitcoin...why is that?

Kind of curious all other currencies seem to be following Bitcoins dip. Antshares has seen a bit of a dip, but appears to be now seeing more modest movements than others. Kind of strange. I thought its more fragile base would have it falling like crazy at the news of BTC's drop.

What are some of your must have trading tools?

For me, it's a SMS CryptoCurrency alert system. No more missed sales opportunities because I was out of the office or sleeping Smiley

Is your SMS alert app going crazy right now?  Cheesy
