Re: Grouphashing.com scam or trustworthy? YES IT IS!

grouphashing was hosted by https://www.digitalocean.com/

Code:
grouphashing.com 162.243.1.22‏

i asked them to give me information about thier client but they said they can't because of TOS and Privacy Policy
but they recommend contacting my local authorities and creating a case there.

connect.to redirects to grouphashing.com, the owner's name of connect.to according to domain's whois is Michelle Huynh

the developer of grouphashing.com said he/she got 40% of the bitcoins and he/she said he/she will pay them back to their owner.

It is with much regret I need to inform you that the operation behind this web site appears to have been a scam!

I was the web developer and was strung along from the start in what can only be described as an elaborate con.

The scammer/s who provided the web server that the original web site was hosted on and has now taken down the server so I no longer have access to it. He has also changed the passwords on the Gmail and Bitcointalk.org accounts, so I no longer have access to anything. Except this domain which I registered.

I spent many, many hours developing the website and various other systems around this project including a pool and a custom payment service and talking with the scammer via Skype. I feel terrible to have been duped by this scumbag. I also feel terrible the website I developed made it possible for the scammer to scam payments from others.

I want to return the Bitcoins I made from this 'business'. I have no desire to keep even 1 satoshi from what now clearly appears to be a scam.

I was paid 40% of 9 out of 10 contracts sold as a 'partner' of the business. I received 8.885 BTC in total.

Please contact me via the BitMessage address below with your original Payment transaction id, registration email address, total amount paid in BTC, number of contracts purchased, total hash rate purchased and a refund bitcoin address. Once I have received these details from everyone I will start refunding all the coins I personally received.

bitmessage: BM-NAxLLCNxfgtEbV16pAaj4FdPMsj8Dfih

Again, my sincerest apologies for enabling this thief to rob you. I know you may not agree with me but I feel I have also been robbed of countless hours working on this project and subject to embarrassment and anxiety as a result of this scam.

i sent him/her a bitmessage he replied

Code:
Thank you for your understanding.

I will get the coins back to you as soon as possible but it may take a couple of days.

Thank you and sorry once again.

that was on Thu, 12-12-2013

I didn't receive any Bitcoin and i think nobody also did

now when sending a message to that BM-Address, the message won't be delivered.

i started detrusting the world of digital currencies! in the future when nobody can control the transactions and we can't chargeback our money in case of fraud, how could we as legal and trusted users protect our rights ? degital currencies thought about merchant people but didn't thought about buyers.

if a merchant is legal will never be scared from chargebacks!

p2pool no payouts since 3 days ?
by

on 08/12/2013, 18:47:15 UTC
Hi

I'm not sure if i'm posting this in the right section, i apologize if i made a mistake.

to the Thema :
i installed a yacoind and yacoin-p2pool on my server and started mining yacoin with other people, since 3 days of non-stop mining no one in the pool got a payment and people started complaining ! i know that p2pool payments are slow because of the PPLNS-Logic, but i think 60 hours is such a long period and the average mining speed in the pool is 6 to 12KH

until now the pool found about more than 25 Blocks and issued about 3150 shares

http://62.210.189.139:8336/static/

is any thing going wrong or this is so normal and we must wait ?

Regards

Hi

Check this
https://blockchain.info/tx/1d2f30bd8a98d893bb49c8456ce25ed2849730d385967e0e48053c127c98cbca

I wanted to send 0.03768 to 17CjwkVYEyhCdT3gtRR8QqmZG1EujyrAEg but somehow only 0.0038 there and the rest (0.03378) went to 1HQ6E7VKP6hg6QrPYnfH2WA1CHdiNknhsP which i didn't enter it in my wallet

Now i can see that 0.03378 in Bitcoin-Qt but i can't use it, when i try to make a transaction, Bitcoin-Qt say that the value is over my balance!

1HQ6E7VKP6hg6QrPYnfH2WA1CHdiNknhsP was not listed in my Wallet, but i tried to export its pirvate key it worked, then i imported it, now i see it in my wallet but i still can't spend that coins :/

Why Novacoin is more valuable than PPCoin ?

Hi

In BTC-e Novacoin is traded for 0.028 BTC but PPCoin is traded for 0.0015

Why NVC is more valuable than PPC, though NVC is newer than PPC and was considered as a scam for a long time!
when we want to talk about it technically, both coins are the same, they support PoW/PoS except that PPC uses SHA and NVC use Scrypt, it's likely that :
PPC = BTC + PoS/PoW
NVC = LTC + PoS/PoW

it looks normal when NVC more valuable as LTC but i think PPC is better than NVC as it uses SHA which is less power consumer ..

i used Coin Daddy 2 times to buy 30 LTC, it a very quick service ..

now people may say it is expensive, right but it is almost the same when buy coins from BTC-E or other services because of commission specially for those who lives in europe and use EUR or GPD so they must buy first USD, then they must use OKPay which takes 1% commission and to add balance in your OKPay you have to use other services such Sofortbanking with 3% commission other services take up to 13% commission, only wire transfer is free but it takes from 3 to 7 days ... i was looking for a safe and quick solution.

there was other website called coinmama but many person said its a scam, it uses WU (online pay with Credit Card) but WU takes already commission and paying with EURO-Credit Card makes you pay extra money.

many thanks and will buy more coins soon Smiley

the weird thing that i don't understand why did KnC made their products more expensive, for example the KnC Jupiter 400GH was a Month ago for about $3,995 but now it is for $4,995, that means $1000 more expensive though the Difficulty until the Shippment Date which is now from 15. Nov will increase a lot, and that machine won't be profitable as it's now or was before 1 month .. the prices had to decrease and the company had to upgrade their products to something like 800GH+ and sell them with the old prices or they also may increase the prices in that case ...
Hash-Power should increase while difficulty increases and prices should kept stable ..
