I already use Altquick, and I haven't been robbed yet... 
Apart from bisq where the liquidity wasn't that deep for namecoin a while back I checked I was looking to atomic swap some of my Monero for Namecoin, but was hesitant might try basicswapdex.
Have you given it a go if so, how's the experience? Would it be best to join their matrix to get help getting started instead of jumping right in appreciate it
"BasicSwap is way cooler than Binance." I'll take it will head into the FAQ and matrix see how it works I'm always cautious with these things been in the game long enough it's why I still pop into bitcointalk for the nostalgia and recent activity.
A good recent real-world example of why you probably wouldn't want to use Namecoin for timestamping, with OpenTimestamps being a more scalable alternative:

This kind of large-scale operation would be prohibitively expensive with Namecoin, whereas OpenTimestamps makes it so cheap that Peter can fund the transactions with donations. The developers do give a shout-out to Namecoin for PKI purposes, which is cool. Use the right tool for the job!

Hi, I'm Looking to withdraw geocoin from bittrex I have downloaded the fusion wallet fully synced with peers, but I don't seem to see any wallet details I see a small icon on the top right representing the main account (etherbase) and that's it.
I don't seem to see the contracts > watch token steps mentioned on the website.
I only see the ubiq webpage and a search icon on the left some help would be appreciated thanks.

Namecoin has been underappreciated for far too long. When you look at the statistics, it's dumbfounding why it isn't valued 100x higher. I think it's the result of several unique market factors like merged mining causing constant dumping by pools, lack of advertising, prior performance assumed to be future performance, and lots of undeveloped potential.
I would add the ethereum,Dao/ICO mania didn't help and took the lime light.

It was recently rated the #60 crypto coin by an independent rating team and if it were to realize that position as a market cap, it would be trading at $200 per coin.
That's interesting they gave it a rating where it would trade at $200 because a lot of the crypto space likes to compare their chain with the other, but I like to compare it to the actual industry it's targeting for example according to Datanyze both Godaddy and cloudfare seem to have in total around 2/3 of the DNS marketshare.
Godaddy's & Cloudfare's companies worth totals $55 billion. If Namecoin was to take just 10% of that share i.e 5.5 billion divided by the supply would give us around $261 a coin.
Jokes aside $200 is a very conservative price and $2000 wouldn't be unrealistic either. If Namecoin was to takeover the marketshare of those two companies, then we would just need to 10x with a price of $2600. Also even if Bitcoin went to $200,000 and Namecoin at $2000 we would still have a respectable satoshi price of 0.01.
Bear in mind I haven't factored in the remaining 35% marketshare which consisted of Amazon, Google etc.

Right well anyways.
Good to see there's still active development in this coin even though the trade volume is almost nil. Given what just happened with Counterparty (XCP) recently, anything's possible for one of the first, functional altcoins. Here's hoping it enjoys some sort of renaissance.

Have the devs thought of shooting a coin request to Bittrex to add Namecoin and present the opinion/reason of them having Peercoin and litecoin. So why not add namecoin too could be an OG revival sort of thing that could stir up a bit of attention amongst the pile of new shiny sh!t.
