if the client says it has 1 or more connections then yes it should work and there should be no need to test

i personally wouldnt crossfire the cards as you will probably get scaling issues where you lose some of your potential hashrate that could of been utilized had you only used 1 card

i would imagine you would use less power therefore less heat, or even if that doesnt work use up the extra free power to increase the core clocks for a more powerful miner

interesting, i seem to have a similar issue with my 5850 (im also using it for day to day tasks)
Since silkroad like services play a large part in the bitcoin exchange rate, and as a miner it is in my interest to keep the exchange rate high, here is an alternative to silkroad:
When silkroad was running openly it was better than this, but this one of the only sites avaiable for regestration, and i think it will do atleast until silkroad is reopened
