Yo I lost about %60 of my portfolio in the last two months but guess what
I'M NOT SELLING
Good decision bro! Never sell on lose specially when you lose that kind of amount its better to hold it and wait for it to go back to its price. Crypto is crazy and this is only for people who are patience.
actually here we are tested in a declining market situation. so we can be patient or not to hold it. if you are not patient then you are a weak hand. instill confidence that bitcoin will recover soon.

we should be able to divide the time and prioritize the more important first. bitcoin can be done anytime, usually I do research at leisure time after work home.

it may be that security in government investment is safer than in bitcoin, but I think it will depend on the government. they certainly make certain regulation, which is definitely not the same as bitcoin.

Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest?

there is no other investment for me other than in bitcoin, I am very sure of bitcoin, because bitcoin gives a real change. and here gives a lot of profit opportunities.
Are there such things as time locked transactions with a single key? Do they send the transaction with a date in the future? What happens if you lose the key the coins are destined for before you reach retirement age?
I have heard that one can make a transaction which will not confirm before a predetermined block. I am not sure about the details, but the coins will be in limbo for the time being, receiving address will be able to spend it when it gets 1 confirmation in the predetermined future.
So, in essence, one would be hoping that the wouldn't lose their private key in 30 or 40 years? That's beside the speculation as to whether or not bitcoin itself will still be around in the future? I know we all want it to be, but storing huge sums with no way to yank it out if something negative occurs, neither of those seem like especially wise decisions...
yes, this seems like a bad move, because there is no movement to sell and buy in the long run. they assume that buying old prices and being sold at current prices will make a profit.

Re: its not about how much you invested, its when you should invest?
the right time for invesatsi is when the price of a coin has bad news so making a coin makes its price down or collapse is a good time to buy. That's if you ask when is the right time to invest
this takes the opportunity to invest while prices again fall due to bad news. indeed we know that bad news also impact on price. Essentially we are investing here should know when the time is right.

I think it is very difficult to predict, because the market is not stable, demand and supply always go up and down. but you need to know that prices always recover, keep thinking positive and always sure.
Bitcoin at the present time resembles as a bubble.Once it goes up, it immediately pops out. It is normal that the price of bitcoin gets down but it's been a long time since it is on its original value or higher than its real value. Those who invest these past few months are suffering a lot of loaaes and they are losing hope that bitcoin will continue to drastically decrease in value. Do you have guys some advice for me? It will be really appreciated and I will be eternal grateful.
one good advise is to hodl.. you cant do anything, the market is doing a healthy correction and if your loss with the current value then your only option is to hold.
yes, I agree with you. I also think so. actually this is a natural thing, do not panic with this decrease. all we can do is hodl .. be patient waiting for the price back up for us to get profit.
Because new people who want to invest in bitcoin want to try it and in the end they buy bitcoin. But not just new people, I'm sure many people still believe in bitcoin for the future.
yes, because of the popularity of bitcoin everyone will be tempted to buy it. let alone have a lot of success by buying bitcoin. other than that bitcoin is one of the best coins. Especially for investment, bitcoin is very appropriate for investment.

the weak do not want to think well. sometimes it makes them so desperate because prices slow down and eventually panic happens. The point is to be patient and be sure that bitcoin will skyrocket on time.

emergency funds should not be invested. because we know that this emergency situation can happen anytime. we can not predict about this. if an emergency fund is invested in cryptocurrency and you need funds but the market price goes down, will you sell it directly..

I personally divide my time to work and to bitcoin. usually I'm in bitcoin after I finish work, I do it in my leisurely time. I am more concerned with my work than bitcoin, because bitcoin for me is just my side job that can be done anytime without disturbing my real job.

Re: Why people are still buying BTC?

those who believe BTC have their own reasons why they keep buying BTC. I personally believe that BTC is the best of all altcoin and BTC prices are above all altcoin.
There are risks where you can profit. It is said in the business where profits are high, investing there. And do not invest where there is more risk. In this case, Bitcoin is seen to be more profitable than risk.
actually all the work must have risks, but it all depends on us too, actually we can minimize the possibility of this risk. if we are careless then fatal consequences. but this risk corresponds to what we get.
I am a bit perplexed. I'm a new member, posted three times yesterday, and today I see that two of my posts are gone. I can't even imagine a reason for this, I mean, like at all, given the posts. They were contributing to the discussion, the tone was amicable, offered some info, zero ads... Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I certainly don't want to see my posts vanish and I'm eager to make change for the better, but I have no clue about what my offense was.
why your post was deleted, maybe the post you post is not constructive and does not match the topic discussed. now moderators have started with caution with our post, if they post spam, it will be deleted by moderator.

we can use 2FA security, but that's all I know, maybe other users have another way to secure their investment. I also need additional ways to keep me from hacking.

Re: What happens when there is NO electricity? How does one trade with BTC?

perhaps by turning on a machine that can generate electricity or go to a friend's house whose electrical flow is alive. that way we can continue to trade with btc.
