We just resolved our first bet! Payouts have been sent! Congrats to our first winners!

The bet was "will bitcoin drop below $500USD before Christmas".  Most people had bet that it would NOT drop that low.  Because of the news from China we saw a dip far below $500 and the bet resolved to a resounding YES. 

It seems like that's how this is playing out. Little early too say for sure though.

I prefer mBTC, it's what we use at betyourbits.  Only time will tell, I'd imagine if mass adoption truly happened we'd end up using satoshis.

Great point.. I think a decentralized exchange should be possible, I just don't know how the originating fiat will transfer between users without a bank though.  We could mail it to each other using carrier pigeons
