I was running 1gh pool. How do I run Ypool? Do i just need to switch out the info in the _start.bat file and if so to what?
Ypool is windows only :-( But if you're using Linux I guess it should be possible to use the Ypool if you install 'wine' first. This is a software package the let's you emulate a Windows environment (http://www.winehq.org/download/)
Ypool says on their website: "A Linux port of the pool miner is on the way! For the moment we ask Linux users to use wine."
Unfortunately I'm a total n00b. Maybe Instacashs knows how to switch to Ypool using 'wine' for Linux?
Need this info too, same boat here...

what about AMD radeon GPUs, is there any chance to start mining using AMD GPU hardware with sume cuda or other alternative miner?
I wish I went long "Mt.Gox Stuck Transaction Outputs" at 30000, I'd have doubled my money and more! Too bad I didn't find out what exchange it's listed on in time. It's still rallying and it still looks bullish but I personally tend to start thinking about shorting after 50%+ moves. Graph here: http://coinsight.org/mtgox.html

Re: MaxCoin | CPU Cloud Mining Guide | MAX VPS // has been LAUNCHED@6.2/7:30 GMT
All this talk about botnets but I think people are underestimating the dev teams ability and knowledge. The team behind this coin are not just teenagers with enough cash to use one of these online generation sites. They are actual graduates in IT and they are Crypto enthusiasts. They are not just a few people out to make a quick quid here and there.
Personally I have faith in what they are doing. Anyone with enough understanding of Software engineering and the crypto market would not just flippantly release a cpu coin if they knew it could easily be controlled by a botnet.
On top of all of that why not use your brain for a second. Was this coin rushed out? No and why is that? Possibly because time and effort has been put into it to make sure it is right. Rather than just sitting there spurting drivel why not just for once allow your glass to be half full rather than half empty.
Have a bit of faith guys.
Coin is not rushed out because this is how the marketing campaign is structured - well done, let's hope the botnets will not outperform real people who believe in crypto future.
