BFG miner is probably your best bet if you insist on using a windows setup

With a raspberry pi hashra controlla is rock solid with the blades (uses bfgminer BTW)

I've been waiting for nearly a week for the remainder of my BTC to be exchanged.
Repeated emails to pool mods go unanswered. No excuse for this!
I'm getting the distinct feeling there's something dodgy about this pool so I've now withdrawn my funds, writing off the unexchanged BTC so at least I don't lose it all.
Given the amount taken in fees by hashcows it's a bit rich to treat miners like this.
Keep my cryptocoins you chisellers, I'm putting my hashpower elsewhere from now on.  Angry

Check your payout address is correct for some reason mine became nonsensical once I corrected it I was paid out

Lol, anyone who believes this is close to brain dead. Cost involved Into designing is too significant to even THINK about building an fpga/asic for an algo at such infancy.

Also, I find it funny how in recent months, starting any post with "I am china" seems to invoke confidence when trying to spread FUD about a subject.

an fpga is a blank chip which set up is loaded from an eprom, all it needs is someone smart enough to do the programing. there is no setup cost apart for the off the shelf parts and the build, whether this would be cost effective now that's another matter.

WOW, all I can say is WOW just wowww, the lowest I have ever seen... I will be surprised if there are still GPU's mining scrypt with this kind of MH/btc

 0.00194
BTC/day per MH/s

Makes no sense to me its dropping this low and this fast..  At this rate it will be 0.00002 by Christmas.

And prices are zooming up..(I know prices are not directly related to mining)

Makes no sense..

Its almost like the Higher the prices climb the lower the MH's per day goes down.. Almost like to keep us from earning any more as prices rise..

If prices drop we will all be dead(Including ASIC's)

the main reason the the price of LTC to BTC which has plummeted it's down 8% in the last day alone.

would it be possible to move the minisule amount of 0.00119516 BTC

from  user 1CxNFa8uE2J1hYDb6FNASauoqEnd3fDjhd

over to user 1CJd2U1uF7N9jUfSzuibDAXfTDNSssQw4W

I don't use that  address anymore as it's gone super slow on my phone app, a configuration error yesterday started mining on that for a couple of hours

I don't know if you keep ip addresses but you will see they are the same if you do

if not no biggie

All, it really helps when you state your issues that you mention if you are using mini's or blades and how many of each. The fact that Blades do not use autotune, means they are almost 2 different products with regard to troubleshooting and configurations.

Just an FYI many, many people are running minera with absolutely no issues with both Blades and mini's. In fact of all the solutions I have used this is by far the most stable and easiest to use. Not to mention the fact the development cycle is crazy fast and responsive. Michelem and Sandor make quite the team Smiley

I have one pi if it can't run both 5 chip and a blade at the same time 13/2 I either have to split it  and put my blade on my notebook where it works fine or use something else like hashra.

My blade stutters and hangs when used with the rest of my 5 chip gridseeds on minera,

Minera is indeed very good, but it's still very unstable, and has been like so in the last versions. Things I've been noticing:

1. If I save new settings and restart, minerd hangs randomly, while setting chip frequencies
2. Also, when I save new settings and restart, it sometimes starts hashing but does not accept any shares
(to solve all of the above I have to restart several times till it works)
3. when I add 3 or more pools, it gives errors similar to 1 and 2, and the only workaround is to remove those pools from the config
4. Pool switcher rarely works

Anyone experiencing the same? Any workarounds?

the miner hanging when you set saved frequencies is a known problem

the other stuff seems to be a feature of cpuminer that or duff usb hubs (mine seem fine since I ditched the cheapo ones) a reboot is the best bet.

Oh and I have had little success with my 40 chip blades which seem to hang with minera if it's blades you are using use hashra or a as I have  low power netbook and bgminer

Ill note that I have this ame problem, albeit with only 3 miners.

I can confirm  if you add the saved frequencies to the extra options the miner does not start

Is it normal to get so many HW even at 838MHz?

http://i.imgur.com/6YwiXa9.jpg

looks like  the blades have hung 5000 seconds since last share is not good, mine did that on the cheap hub until I changed it to an elecrocity.

I have --gc3355-timeout=1000 for that very problem.

So I have run minera for a couple of days on my 5 chip Gridseeds now and its great!

I have then modified the Gridseeds for OC Mode meaning that I'll be able run them at a much higher frequency.
Autotune is probably already finished and saved. Will I have to delete some parts of the DB to make cpuminer forget the old autotune settings?

I know its kind of a cpuminer question.

Thanks for your work michelem

on the dashboard page next to the red refresh icon is a icon to save the frequencies
then when you co to the settings page there is a big list of saved  frequencies like this

select it all in that window and paste it into the extra options window above it
untick autotune
then click save

--gc3355-freq=48EC70493135:838:0,48EC70493135:838:1,48EC70493135:838:2,48EC70493135:838:3,48EC70493135:838:4,48EC70493135:8

Having looked at https://github.com/siklon/cpuminer-gc3355 I don't think you can set the frequency's by the serial number but only by the device number  ttyACM.. as these move around on reboot it is pretty useless ATM.

is there an md5 for the img

I get

MD5 (minera-latest.img) = de31ce0d96520073c682da688e91c24e

MD5 is correct.

Can you try to SSH into it?

user: minera
pass: minera

If you get in try to see if you have Minera path:

Code:

This is weird

Can you work with Nicehashdev from Nicehash to make your software more compatible? I get over 28% rejects there.

many of the rejects on nicehash are missing jobs which you get paid for if you look at your nicehash page you will see the rejects are far less.
