I assumed deCLOUDs would be backed by precious metals from day one after reading the thread's title. The dev should change the title to something that makes it clear no precious metals may be bought if the ICO doesn't raise enough. Otherwise more people might wrongly assume precious metals will be bought regardless of what the ICO raises.
First we want to provide a technical overview of the basic components and technologies (white paper). We do not think at the moment about ico amount. Our goal to offer potential investors a clear and will structured idea of the concept and further development.

The Bitcoin is never going to replace the Dollar. The USA will never let a other currency take over there currency. It can happen if Amerika wants to take over the Bitcoin but it is not going to happen if the Bitcoin wants to take over the Dollar.
YesUSA wants to control supply of their currency but bitcoin has a limited supply.so even if USA want to use a digital currency for their economy they will create a new one instead of using an existing currency that they can't control.

I'm normally a lurker and this is my first post. I realize I likely carry no weight with my opinion because of that, but I must say I'm feeling more and more suspicious about this, despite the update. I haven't seen any proof at all that this isn't a scam. I truly hope it isn't, but can't convince myself.
I find it strange there has been such a lack of communication and no reassurance being provided, despite others feeling the same. We have to wait until the end of the month for a potential shipment to be made before getting any names? I think it's weird they are not marketing the hell out of this and instilling trust in an obviously skeptical market. Not to mention, this forum is the only place any talk of it or information exists. They have energy drinks made and on the way with international distribution deals already in place, but no website and no activity at all on github? Really?

This is not a scam. We have no obligation to show anyone anything prior to our work being finished. We have released the working wallet and until we have something else to release you wont see any "proof" as you call it.
We are working hard and when our projects are complete you can see for yourself.
If you want to wait for "proof" before purchasing FLOZ or supporting us you're more then welcome to do so but please understand we are not here to hold your hand, reassure you or tuck you in at night.
We are here to succeed at our goals.

I'm actually pretty decently already invested in it and have been watching very closely. You most certainly have a right to do whatever you want. I wasn't trying to argue that. I'm just expressing my own thoughts and how I can very easily see this being a scam based on the only information available. I, too, find it strange you can't understand how many others would also be skeptical at this point.
I'm not actually against you or trying to argue. Again, I've invested quite a bit already and hope it is all real. I think its great. As such, however, I'd like information; Not vague "things coming soon but nothing at all, yet" updates. I don't even really understand what "the big news announcement" was in your update earlier. That's all I'm getting at and I'm sure I'm not alone in my thoughts.

Update.
Happy new year everyone!
We are here today to update everyone on what's been transpiring over the last few weeks and our holiday break. As you all know, our energy drink project has been pushed up from our original release date. This is partly because we're already working with a bottling plant, and have been testing our secret recipe for the better part of the last 3 months. For our first run of the Floz energy drink and for the foreseeable future we'll be forgetting the vodka aspect and focusing primarily on the cannabis markets. This is being done for a few reasons.
1-Most of our connections who are prepared to carry Floz energy drink are not licensed to sell alcohol.
2-Our medicinal partners want nothing to do with any product that cant be considered medicine.
3-One of our partners who has a partnership with an already established Vodka brand decided that he wanted to go his own way, and focus on bringing a new vodka brand to market.
We wish him well and want to reinforce to all of our supporters that his departure from the team wont hold us back from any of our stated goals.
We hope to have our first pallet of drinks delivered during the week of the January 24th-30th. As soon as The Floz drink is available and in-hand we'll be shipping the batches to three different distributors located in Canada, USA and Holland. We'll be saving 4 cartons of 24 drinks each for the bitcointalk market and our loyal supporters so don't worry about missing out if you're not local to any of our distributors.
None of this would be possible without our loyal team. So many comments have been made about the dev team, questions asked, recommendations suggested ect. We plan on having our team unveiling the day after our first shipments are on route. We will name the Floz Team Leader, Chief Ambassador, Lead Dev, as well as the Floz LLC company president. That's correct. Floz is in the process of registering and incorporating our business, which is the second step needed, in order to take over the cannabis energy drink markets and bring the Floz brand to the level we believe we can reach.
Our game development is still moving along slowly. Over the holidays our lead game dev rewrote the game and came up with a new UI that's much more friendly and interactive then what we had previously been working on. Because I am not a game dev I cant give you an exact day on when we expect the game to be ready for beta testing, but I can say, we've been advised that the game should be ready for v1 beta at or around the same time our first batch of drinks arrive.
We don't expect our In-Wallet game to be a "game changer".
We don't expect millions of people to flock to the game and take on the likes of DOTA or COD.
What we do expect is that we'll have the coolest weed growing game seen and it will be only available to play from our wallet.
You'll be able to bet against other growers, buy secrets from other growers, upgrade your equipment, change your growing recipe, clone plans, test with new experimental weed strains and a whole lot more.
The biggest breakthrough in our game is that it will be able to turn you into a better grower. Our lead game dev has been growing marijuana for over 25 years and has even written a book on growing cannabis. More about that at a later point in time.
All in all we expect the game to be fun to play, informative, exciting and hopefully a bit addictive.
We've noticed a lot of new faces joining the conversation during the last few days, most probably because of the surging floz price and our loyal community. We want to remind everyone that this is a fun- loving place full of love and understanding. We don't want bashing, insulting or name calling on this thread. Please cut it out. Otherwise we'll be forced to start cleaning up the thread and deleting posts and none of us have time to sit and monitor the forum all day.
People are free to share their opinions and thoughts, buy floz, sell floz, pump floz and dump floz. This is what being traded on a market is. We cant stop it and nobody else can either. It's just the natural way a market moves that's traded by many people so please be nice to everyone, even if they have a different opinion then yours.

Our dev team acquired about 150K floz in the days after the crowd funding. At first we planned on buying them from the crowd funding but then opted to buy them from the earliest investors as soon as the market opened for trading. Since then we've been able to acquire another 60K coins. We'll post the address to our wallet in the coming days and you can all watch as our FLOZ coins sit and do nothing besides stake and earn interest. We believe in our project, our coin and our community and have no plan on selling any of our coins at any point in 2016.
We'll be back in a few days time with another short update on the marketplace, as well as the smart contracts which development has started on already.

Bob supported many coins that are still trading and far from scams. He may not be involved anymore but they are still alive.

CIRC~ Working bot, an amazing pump and many people who made money. The greedy ones may have lost but the promise of a working bot was fulfilled. P.s. I still use my circ bot every day and think it's the best bot I ever used.

The way I see it he supports coins. Nothing more to it. And with a lot of the coins he had pumped being on the bittrex verified list I'd say they are not ALL scams.

The number 1 wallet on the rich list belongs to ccex. I know that for a fact because I asked them. It's all the coin being held on the exchange in all the users accounts. It just reads as one address.
sorry im a newbie still learning it took me a while to get it but now i understand thats why that address never stakes because its just the combined accounts on c-cex which means that 100k went to wallets because there was 1.3 mill im gona master this shiznit one day

I bought more yesterday at 2300 and 2400.
Picked up 13000 new floz and its back at 2777 now. I finally made some good trades!
I still think my guess of 4500 is possible but it may depend on the announcement that the devs make tomorrow. If it's a good one I think we will hit 4K.

I wont speculate on what the announcement will be, but I will say that this coin is nowhere close to being at its top price. 5digits will be seen.

With over 1000 crypto-coins its not hard to understand that I'm not up to date with every one out there. Give it some time and you'll know what I mean.
When POT came out, it was right in the time of an altcoin explosion. There were coins for everything... sexcoin, bitcoin2, tie-your-shoes-with-your-toes-coin... anything someone could tie a name to and try to premine and sell. I got on POT because it was a great niche idea in a sea of horrible niche ideas. If you weren't in on POT from the very beginning, it would be easy to overlook it now with all the other coins out there. I could see how someone could have missed it. The same could be said with every other coin listed in the altcoin section of this forum. There's just too many to keep track of, and new ones come out every week.
As far as POT goes, it's a long hold coin dependent on adoption. Grab a little while the price is cheap, and let it collect interest for a while. Don't sink your entire bankroll into it expecting to triple in a few weeks. There are a lot of roadblocks that need to be cleared for it to trade at it's historical prices again.

Today I'm a different trader. A wiser trader, a better trader.
I'll be picking up a few potcoin over the coming months. No need to rush into it now like a newbie, I'll just slowly accumulate and see where we are at the end of the year.
