Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC?

I am kind a sure that billionaires are investing in cryptocurrencies. Billionaires have a habit of growing their money by putting it into the best available investment asset. Cryptocurrencies are high return giving asset and hence they certainly can't ignore it.

Pokemon Sun & Moon: Burning Shadows Booster Packs
by
bgade
on 08/12/2017, 16:10:42 UTC
I have for sale a fairly large number of Pokemon Sun & Moon: Burning Shadows Booster Packs.  Read on for details....

We sell Pokemon cards on EBay all the time - but we have some surplus of this particular type.  Each booster pack comes with ten cards plus and energy card.  These packs are sealed from factory boxes and are the same ones we sell in this EBay listing:

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/332461928095

These are the North American cards, in English.

While I certainly love collecting Bitcoin, I don't like trading in it for small items.  As such, I've priced these cards in my two favorite coins... Gulden and Coino.

Each pack (thats one package of ten cards, not the entire box) is selling for 450 CNO or 75 NLG.  This includes shipping to Canada or the USA.  International shipping be cost an extra 50 CNO or 10 NLG.

CNO trades of Cryptopia.  NLG trades on Bittrex.

I'm open to Escrow for either coin, or you can just judge from our Ebay feedback if you can trust us.

These are going to travel by lettermail wherever they go.  This time of year Canada delivery time will be up to ten days, USA up to 20 days.  International is anyone's guess...

There is no secret here - I'm selling these cards in NLG and CNO to support the coins I like.  Its a great way to encourage you to try trading in them to get some coins to buy the cards.  Enjoy!

And yes - we can adjust the sale price as values change.  We are aiming for $7 CAD plus $1 CAD shipping with the values quoted here.

Nevermind... I read back far enough to find out that Cryptopia is current listing CNO.

Not sure if anyone has kids into it... but I listed some Pokemon Booster packs on Cryptopia for sale at 450 CNO with 50CNO international shipping.  They are the north american english cards.

I can't seem to find a way to do a multiple listing on there, but I have several packs.  If you know anyone who is in love with Pokemon send them over to Cryptopia and they can buy some CNO and get themselves some brand new pokemon cards.

Is there someplace trading CNO?

I'm glad to see so much work has been done on the coin since I was last around.  Good job.

Miner Hosting Where Power is Cheaper
by

I'm curious to hear about what is common for hosting large amounts of altcoin hashing.  Back when I was playing around with altcoins, scypt asics weren't yet common.  It was still about using video cards, etc.  Lots has changed since then.

One of the bigger changes is that we just acquired a new larger building. The neatest part of it is that 1/3 of it is an old bomb shelter.  The coldest part of it is that its winter up here in Canada and the building is heated primarily with electric heat.  Seeing the hydro bill made me think back to how much it used to cost to run a machine at my house hashing away.

Electricity here costs around 8 cents CAD per kilowatt hour - but thats 5.9 cents USD.  It costs substantially less as you use more - as low as half that price once you are using enough.

Is there any demand for places to host hashing?  Certainly up to the limit of what it takes to heat the building in winter, we could host it and and up with free heat.  In the winter, cooling is basically free here as well.  Of course, in summer the costs don't make nearly as much sense.

What are people doing to host hashing, if anything?  How would I find enough people to use up around 150amp/18,000 watts of hashing power for the next few months?

The CNO jswallet works now.
Mobile use of Coin(o) formally begins today.  Cheesy

I can confirm the official web wallet is broken.  I last checked in on it a few months ago - at that time the Coinod running on it had a balance of several million and all was well.  When I checked it today it has a balance of about 4,000 left.  It shows three accounts that have a negative balance.  I assume someone found an exploit in the code and used it to take the Coino.  I'm not sure the value of Coino really makes such an attack worthwhile... but maybe someone had a lot of time on their hands.

SMCardle wrote the wallet some time ago, before he disappeared.  I don't have any intention of looking for the bug or fixing it given that the other wallet is running now.

Is anyone going to be upset if I just pull the plug on that server and let the old wallet go away?

0,0 Volume  Sad

Give it time: volume will raise, it up to us! start doing your effort, then look at what the others do...

Its good to be back on an exchange.  If you look under their marketplace, I added something you can buy with Coino.  Its about half price - so whoever gets it first wins!

Just voted. please ALL dot the same!

Hi, i personally voted about 50 times, using all familiar with the twitter. And continue to give voice. You probably noticed that Coino already in 4th place! The only question is when they will make Coino, my wallet is not synchronized

Does anyone have any nodes?

The main node lives at:

coinocoin.com

It hosts the website, has the Web Wallet but also runs a full node.  My machines are all connected to it happy as can be and stay in sync wonderfully.

Did this coin die after the last life support was removed from SwissEx which also went under?

 Huh

There hasn't been a lot of interest in it as of late.  But there are still some people mining and holding, even attempting to trade it.  I bought up a couple million in the last few months - if anyone has a fair amount they want to sell directly, get in touch.

With Swissces and Cryptorush both disappearing, there is not an exchange at the moment.  I've been tempted to launch one, but I haven't done it as of yet.  We still have the web wallet running, along with the slot machine.  And the blockchain is ticking along nicely.

Ok, thanks. But the Price is me to low. I haven´t a problem for waiting of a better Price Wink

It crashed a bit down to 1 satoshi - but there is a buy order there for 500k at 5.

Today is the start of the birthday sale at the CoinoCoin.com website - if you are looking for sd cards or a cheap domain name, there are options posted there.  Its still offering a price of 50 satoshi per Coino (and at $300BTC) so its a great place to use some up.  You can even buy some and then use it... whatever works.

If there is any interest I can post a few $25 visa gift cards as well.  They would be in Canadian currency but could be used anywhere.  They would sell for 230,000 Coino.

Is there anywhere a Exchange for COINO? I have over 1000 Coinos. I search a Exchange for selling.

https://cryptorush.in has an exchange.

We'll also be accepting Coino on the CoinoCoin.com site on the 14th for various items.

Is there open exchange software yet?  I'd be game to just setup an exchange that the Coino team controls to make sure it doesn't disappear again.

Bad News
CNO is de-listed by SwissCEX (as usual; without any warning, unlike what Bittrex does.)
CNO is the only reason I traded there; SwissCEX is going to lose me as a customer forever.

The funny part is I talked to them a couple days ago to let them know we would be doing some extra things for the one year anniversary on the 14th of January.  I expected that would bump up trading... they even responded.... and then dropped the market with no warning.

I just registered at the CryptoRush and logged on to the site without problem.

I find that when you first go to cryptorush, you need to logout and then login.  Even if you aren't logged in.  Then you can get in and trade fine.

I have not tried to withdraw however.

January 14, 2015 Coino Celebrates Turning 1 Year - fireworks and champagne and 100000 credit card issuers Coino
BTC BTC BTC

I don't know about the credit card issuers... lol

But, I was putting together the listing of products that can be purchased during the Birthday celebration.  There are a bunch of 4GB Kingston SDHC cards for 51,200 Coino each.  I'm still working on the list of everything else but I'll make sure there is at least one prepaid credit card available for purchase to make your dream at least partially come true.

In the meantime, put some thought into how to spread the word about the Birthday celebration.  It would be great to see some huge transaction volume on the exchanges as people buy up Coino to spend it on the low price items.

Someplace, somewhere...I have some Corgi left laying around from before.

But I'm curious... what can you do with it besides hoping someone will buy it from you?  Is there anywhere to spend it?  I thought it was kinda dead already.  Its good to see some activity... but... is it just faint hope?

Then say, which coin do you prefer?
I would like to add this coin...

Add Coino!

As far as coins go... we've done almost everything wrong.  But we are still almost a year old and manage to be listed on two exchanges.

There have been piles of other altcoins who have done far more things right then Coino, and they are long gone already.

It makes me wonder how crazy the world is... but at least we have a cool name!

Ok, so I admit... I didn't invest and have just been lurking as it all goes on...

But they use logos of companies that don't know anything about them... and rip off their own corporate logo from someplace else.  And no one gets suspicious at the start?   I guess that's not true - lots are suspicious but many more still try it anyway.

Is there still no clearing house where a new coin can prove it isn't a scam to someone?  Like a BBB model where the coin provides all of their info, documents, etc to a real third party for evaluation and stamp of "probably not a huge scam"?

I've been playing crypto for a little over a year and have lost less than $600.  I think at this point... thats something to celebrate!
