My guess is 4380$.

We are going to see a very flat market, without major changes until end of Q2. A slow growth of price and nothing else. Interesting things gonna happen later (maybe not in 2019, be patient, I'll bet the next major moves will occur in 2020).

Re: What do you do when you see bitcoin crashing like this and you're losing money?

When I see a low price and notice that my BTCs value is lower than what I invested, I check the bitcoin halving countdown (http://www.thehalvening.com ).

=>  In about ~800 days, it will be twice as easy to maintain the current price. (= great chance of a price x2)

I do not see now the price of bitcoin. What is the point to watch? Everyone who wanted to sell has already sold. Those who intend to keep the coins will keep them in case of any fall. The best option is to forget about bitcoin for a month. If you do so all the price will dramatically go up. Why do you need negative emotions?

The best option is to NOT BUY for a month. If you do so all, the price will dramatically go down. ET VOILA ! some BTC very cheap Smiley  let's play as a team.

Also we should have a workable Lightning Network up and running by the end of 2018.

The major rises of 2017 were all about lightning network (segwit, recent lightning beta on mainnet, etc...).
Development (and adoption?) of lightning / off-chain transactions will have an incredible effect on the BTC price.

by

1- Tu as intérêt a blinder ta déclaration d’impôt 2018 pour l'année 2017

https://particuliers.banque-france.fr/page-sommaire/droit-au-compte

Today at office, I received an instant message from a colleage telling me "OK, I'm ready to go into bitcoin", and I was talking about BTC with him since January....

Interest is still growing.

People are understanding that it is more accessible than they tought initially, it is not mandatory to be a IT-tech-geek-nerd to buy bitcoins.

Re: Sell your bitcoin NOW. November 8, 2017
by
bifle
on 08/11/2017, 17:27:30 UTC
I fruitful advise to all,

You need to sell your bitcoins now. This is because the btc is about to correct its price.

Dont wait for 8000 usd price btc will not reach that price yet.

After price correction, buy btc again.

BTC Price at coinmarketcap = 7,126.02 USD / BTC
You are dumb you think people will listen to a random troll posting so called 'advice' to sell.I think you have a buy order at low price waiting to be filled Grin and you missed the chance to buy bitcoin when it was cheap.Bitcoin price can fall but no one can say for sure so don't say it with such confidence that's it's price is about to be corrected.

There are many dumbs people believing everything the heard/read.  Examples ? People voting for Brexit, Trump...

I think there are a lot of people reading bitcointalk to make their "own" opinion, just reflecting the average number of bearish or bullish posts here.

Re: What will happen after the upcoming fork?
by
bifle
on 08/11/2017, 17:00:31 UTC
I think the price of bitcoin after the fork will drop a little bit less than the price of segwit2X futures.

Example : If price of BTC before fork is 7500$ dans B2X futures is 1500$, I think the BTC price will be a little bit ABOVE 6000$ after the fork.

The reason : people frightened by the fork are waiting to come in with fresh money, just after this date. (I met this kind of person at work today).

Re: Segwit2x in November

a lot of people think after the segwit2x activated the price of bitcoin will dropped to lowest down more than 30% or so from the current price , it is just a completely wild speculation .

Given the BTC/BTC2X futures at 0.2 BTC2X for 1 BTC, a price drop of 20% is logic. A drop of 30% is understandable, if we assume that bitcoin price is currently overrated.
