Re: Enhanced newbie restrictions & requirements
by

All though I am affected by this new rules, I don't mind at all as long as this forum will filter and only the genuine members will stay. They say this is outrageous and many people will leave the forum but for me it is much better this way to keep the credibility of the forum. Quality is better than quantity.

⭐ Merited by mole0815 (1)
Ever since I started in this forum I have the same question running in my mind. What is a quality post? How is it judge? Is a lengthy post considered a quality post? Is a short but direct to the point qualified to be a quality post? I have seen a lot of post that are helpful and informative from low ranking members but they didn't get any merit at all. On the other hand I see a lot of high ranking members posting one liners and they get away with it. Can someone enlighten me.

Re: If you were to spread the word of Bitcoin..
by

Some people get interested more in visual than verbal so a video explaining a brief history and basics of bitcoin would be much better than spreading via word. But it all depends on the person whom you are sharing information with. It is much easier to explain if the person is interested than those who are not interested at all.

Re: The wrong mindset of a newbie looking for wealth in the crypto market
by
bigblackdeck45
on 17/09/2018, 01:03:14 UTC
Yes that is really true. A lot of newbies think that cryptocurrency is easy money and will guarantee to make you rich fat when in reality it takes a lot more than that. People here have to work hard just to become what they are right now. A lot of newbies does not even do their own research and study things they just follow what others tell them and in the end blame the whole community when they lose their money.

Re: Soon we would not need banks

I think there is a zero chance of that happening. I am not an anti cryptocurrency nor a hater in fact I love cryptocurrency just like all of you but banks will be here to stay wether you like it or not. Cryptocurrency has no power to make banks go away. If cryptocurrency becomes big then banks will find a way to adapt and adjust to these changes. Here where I live we have banks already accepting cryptocurrency.

Re: Are the bitcoin faucets no longer worth it?
by
bigblackdeck45
on 16/09/2018, 01:13:01 UTC
Yes bitcoin faucets are never worth it in the first place. Faucets only gives you a little amount and is not worth the time at all. For me I believe there is no such thing as free in this world. You have to work in order to earn or get something. Free bitcoin is too good to be true and for me it will always have a catch.

Thank you for sharing this info. You don't know how many people you have helped by sharing this. When something gets popular many people will take advantage of that for their own benefit. That is why we must be extra careful in order to avoid loss of money. Always be cautious when dealing with cryptocurrency.

Before investing or buying anything be sure you an idea or enough knowledge about cryptocurrency. Don't just go buying stuff you thought will give you profit without checking it out first. That is the most common mitake of people who recently starts. You can never go wrong with bitcoin specially when you are aiming for long term investment.

Re: Why BTC is not adapted into business??
by
bigblackdeck45
on 12/09/2018, 04:35:59 UTC
I think the biggest reason why business doesn't adapt bitcoin or use is because how fast the price change and being so volatile. But that doesn't mean bitcoin will not be something big and I think a lot of business have started to notice bitcoins potential. We just have to wait and see where bitcoin is gonna go in the future.

Re: Bitcoin holders will betray bitcoin one day
by
bigblackdeck45
on 12/09/2018, 00:27:54 UTC
I believe you are correct. When bitcoin loses its value, people who have been holding for years will eventually turn their back on bitcoin. I hate to admit it but there are more people who are just here for the money than who are genuinely here to help bitcoin grow. Many people bought bitcoin because of the hype and got influenced by other success stories.

Those are the type of people who have no interest in the whole system. They only care about making profit and money. They don't take the time to study and research about bitcoin at all. Those type of people are the ones who are easy to manipulate also. One big fud news and they will sell everything that they have only to find out after few months the price goes back up again. Easy money for the veterans.

Re: How can we make bitcoin transaction refundable?
by
bigblackdeck45
on 11/09/2018, 00:22:04 UTC
That is one of the biggest setback of bitcoin, transactions are non refundable. Just like everyone said to make every transactions refundable a third party must be involved. Now is it worth it to sacrifice bitcoins main selling point which is being decentralized to fix this? I believe no. People will eventually leave and stop supporting bitcoin if that thing happens.

I only try to encourage or influenced those who truly believe in bitcoin and who truly understand it. People who have no trust and doesn't understand bitcoin whom you influenced will only blame you if they fail or lose their money. It is much better to let them understand what they are about to get themselves in to before influencing them into investing or buying bitcoin.

Thank you for this great information. I hope more people can get to read this awesome information and help them. I believe in a simple way and that is you will never get hacked of you are more cautious. I believe that most incident of being hack are usually user errors who end up blaming the system. A lot of users are not cautious when taking care of their wallets resulting to being hack.

Re: How can we make people accept bitcoins as a currency?
by
bigblackdeck45
on 07/09/2018, 04:15:17 UTC
We can't really force people into accepting bitcoin as a major currency. Like you said many people are still confused, afraid and have no idea what bitcoin is. The best thing we can do is to let them get interested with bitcoin. We don't have to force them to adapt to us. Eventually bitcoin will become so popular and big and they will have no choice but to accept the changes.

Re: Why government announce bitcoin is illegal?
by
bigblackdeck45
on 06/09/2018, 04:35:59 UTC
Bitcoin has a bad reputation because it was first commonly used in darkweb as means of payment. I have known about bitcoin while I was researching about the darkweb. Also bitcoin is bad for those who are in banks for every transactions made with bitcoin it will not require any middle man such as banks.

Re: What strategy we should take when Bitcoin price fall
by
bigblackdeck45
on 06/09/2018, 00:12:26 UTC
For me I would stick to holding when prices drops. I believe that there is just no point in selling my holdings of I can't earn any profit out of it. I never give in to fear and go panic selling like everyone else does. If I have also the resources I would buy bitcoins during price drops for they are mostly cheap and add them to my holdings.

Re: The Future of Bitcoin is the Community not the Government
by
bigblackdeck45
on 05/09/2018, 04:03:38 UTC
Yes I believe you are correct. The bitcoin community plays a huge role in keeping bitcoin alive and kicking. If it wasn't for the people who believe in what bitcoin can really offer and how much potential it has, bitcoin could have been long gone. Take a look at all those altcoins who failed and jist die. They die because of the government stopping them, most of them died because the community behind them turned their back and loose their interest on it. If thwir is no support from the community even something big like bitcoin will eventually die.

Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ?
by
bigblackdeck45
on 05/09/2018, 01:14:21 UTC
I believe that those other countries sees bitcoin as an opportunity and not a threat to them while others are just to blinded by greed and quickly assume that bitcoin is a threat to them. Sometimes we quickly assume that givernment only think about themselves. Not all government are corrupt and only want to be rich, some government also really thinks about the welfare of the people.

Re: Are old coins no more profitable
by
bigblackdeck45
on 04/09/2018, 04:39:57 UTC
It really depends on how well these old coins are doing and how much they establish in the cryptocurrency world. Some old coins are really quite still profitable specially those who are really popular. Bitcoin is one of the oldest coin out there and look at it, still very profitable right now.
