it is definetly one of the most undervalued compared to their tech. i think 2018 will be a good year
Yes, i am totally new to this projekt, since yesterday, but after reading up on it it got me very excited about the projekt, the growing team and the growing community. When/if the stresstest 10k/s is successful, it will be very big news. Listing XBY on bigger exchanges is a must eventually, but i think that it is good to have XBY listed on a big exchange like Bittrex, HitBTC, Polinex before the stresstest is done to not miss out on interest from big investors when the test is done. The current low mcap has only to do with the current exchanges and perhaps to little marketing. So I propose:
1. Donations from community for listning on bigger exchange or Xfuel sale/offer for kapital in BTC for listning on bigger exchange
2. Xfuel bounty for marketing, best marketing plan and putting into action.
What does the community say?
We agree that we need bigger exchanges, but we think that our changes of actually getting listed on exchanges such as Bittrex are better when we have working tech to proof this is a great coin

What is Dubai's stance on crypto, hopefully exchanges there don't get seized.
Dubai is creating own crypto called emcash, but i dont know how the future will look for other crypto there. Bitoasis exchange has been there for a while. There is a lot of interest in blockchain tech in the UAE region, many starups. The islamic bank, government on blockchain is the goal, official announcement.
I believe national cryptos will have a pretty hard time because they introduce centralization element which ultimately are against the core concepts of crypto. Xtrabytes is a real decentralized currency so yeah, I am quite sure that this has a much brighter future than any national approach to crypto.
National coins make zero sense, what would be the difference between it and a central bank, how much regulation would it have?

No idea, they don't specify.
That's what I remember from this voting stuff on other exchanges. Your coin actually gets the overwhelming majority of the votes and in the end does not get listed anyway... I hope this is different here.
I think there is vote manipulation with some of the coins so exchanges might have to be careful there as well.

I've been wondering, could Hashgraph eventually emerge as a serious rival or even completely obsolete most or all blockchain tech one day?
It might have use in banking but it being closed source (and patented) means it won't have much adoption outside big corporations.

Looks good. Another step forward to having a complete website, forum and coin tech. Switching between pages feels a little sluggish but it might just be my connection or maybe some preloading some of the header before querying the table data would make it feel faster. But anyway still looks good and work done well.
Works pretty fast on my end.

just wnat to ask ~ if i want to register a STATIC NODES....(maybe like masternode?!)
but i don't have a static ip......is that means I still have to rent a VPS to run this node??

Renting a VPS would be optimal.
VPS is the way to go. I have a Pi also, but honestly never have used it since VPS rental is so cheap now.
Eventually, when the XBY platform is live and nodes are hosting modules (such as X-CHANGE), it might be best to have a powerful server running the node. I am sure we will get all the information needed before that time.
It seems like VPS will be the way to go especially if you have more then one nodes. Hosting the modules will probably take more resources to get good performance. It will matter what the fees that you can collect from hosting versus the cost of running the VPS.
Yes, once we get rolling with modules and the need for X-VAULT storage, you definitely want to have some performance and space. Its important to know that most modules will use X-VAULT. This is another critical infrastructure of XTRABYTES.
It will be better for the network as a whole if people use remote VPS servers. More spread out Statics should mean more resiliency in the system. If we have to many statics clustered in homes the system would still probably be fine but it seems that it would work better with greater resources at its disposable via VPS servers.
I believe you are rewarded more for having spread out nodes not isolated to one location (assuming you own more than one), so the incentive is there for it.

It still uses PoW from the old bitmox chain right now. So you could theoretically get some of the tx fees which are supposed to go the dev fund, but it is not much. See answer above
Yes, but XFUEL is using new algorithm, on 10 hard coded nodes (test-chain for the developer).
When XBY goes over to the new chain tech will it be automatic or will there be some sort of swap?
Pretty sure it is automatic with no swap.

Another interesting read. I would imagine that if someone could break into the system they would do it in one big attack. It could be updated but the coins would be gone. It's way down the road most likely but if it did happen i wondering how the XBY team would respond.
I think I remember borzalom saying that the security algo can be changed, so if in the future the current one becomes an issue due to quantum computing (way in the future) then the plan is to change it to newer developments before such an attack can take place.

Currently 50 XBY per transaction, but will be reduced later.
So currently all static nodes get reward from transaction fees?
