Carbon Dioxide Emissions Help Tropical Rain Forests Grow Faster

Isn't that pretty obvious? It's like forcing the pigs to eat too much potatoes - they will grow faster, if a person will eat too much he'll get fat. So more Carbon Dioxide = more greeneries

The world would be better, if the US dollar (dropped in value?)

You are asking a question or are you declaring? And why would be better? Can you wright on what basis are you getting your conclusion?

Or is its just a statement to provoke a new discussion?

Chinese are pushing to make yuan reserve currency so I wouldn't be surprised to see this happening in the next 10-15 years. Yes there is a lot of controversy around Yuan but Chinese economy is growing every year in a vast way

I think Kim Jong un has more pressing matters to worry about than bitcoin, for example witch family should he send to kolkhoz, who to kill accuse for spying, who can threat his position in the next 20 year and to kill him now or later, and so on Wink

If Your business is face to face then "pay what you think" may be the right way to go but if you are doing online stuff then forge about it. People don't want to fell guilty in front of other person , where in online business people don't see anyone around so they won't fill guilty if they pay way less for something.

Definitely pizza Smiley You can make one with almost any ingredients you like and it will still be good. Als you can share your pizza with friends, with hamburger that's almost impossible

I'm more worried about politicians mental abilities then the climate changes, especially after reading articles like this. I'm also worried about what will politicians do if we really will be in trouble? I mean they have all the safety measurements in case  of war or natural disaster, where normal people have limited options.

Re: We need a decentralized YouTube
by

YouTube is a huge mixed bag. There are tons of shit that I hate about it. The comment sections (no way to filter out the trolls). Postcounts, rankings, any system by which to roughly kick out all the trolls from the comments that you read.

The rating system is binary, more fit for machines than humans. No way to make groups, so that people in a group can do their own rating.

Totally sells it's content creator's butt-cheeks to corporations in any case of dispute (guilty until proven innocent if you're not a corporation) with the copyright system.
However it is the king.

People can (and some do) use torrents as well to spread their video clips. The number however is paltry because there is no platform.

Torrents are seen by the corporations and the authorities as evil, child-killing, pirating technology so perhaps that witch-hunt is partly to blame. Or perhaps the lack of systems to fund making the videos due to difficulties in receiving funds from the audience.

Agreed on the troll issue but right now I don't see any way to filter them out
Agreed on the rating system - it's useless. I remember couple years back that youtube had a star rating that was visible before you clicked the video but for some reason it had been changed.
Agreed on the copyright system but Youtube is the biggest video platform so they can allow themselves to be ignorant on that matter.

In the end it all comes down to this: People must start to use other video platforms so that there will be more competition, so youtube can no longer be ignorant. But the problem is also in Youtubers and crators - most of them are earning money on youtube which they cannot do on other platforms, so they got no interest in changing platforms, and that keeps viewers to stay with youtube.

Decentralizing won't be possible because Google won't allow for that to happen. I would say that what we need is a strong rival service for Youtube. Twich maybe or Vimeo? Its always good if there is a strong competition in the business but so far all the others are no where near Youtube.

Of course I have stuff from Japan at home, I also have a lot from Malaysia Taiwan and of course China. I'm not saying that Japan is insignificant, but if their currency can be treated as world reserve why not yuan?

It's about how strong the economy of certain country is, its about how stable the economy is, and of course its about how significant the economy is (The economy of Japan is the third largest in the world by nominal GDP).

As for yuan, as long as the Chinese government maintains capital controls on the conversion of its currency it cannot be used as a reserve currency

It looks uninspiring and... boring almost. The previous Bond made me lough with his story, and the especially with the ending (Head of British intelligence doesn't know that if she wanted to camouflage she shouldn't use the flashlight). So far Daniel's Craig best Bond was "Casino Royale"

Sure, it could be treated as such. If such small and IMO insignificant currency as yen can be one, why not yuan?
Let me remind you that it is used by 10 times more people than yen.

yen insignificant? I don't know where You live but I'm certain that You have something from Japanese manufacturer in Your house. TV, phone, car maybe, Japanese companies are known world wide.

From Wikipedia:
"The economy of Japan is the third largest in the world by nominal GDP, the fourth largest by purchasing power parity and is the world's second largest developed economy. According to the International Monetary Fund, the country's per capita GDP (PPP) was at $36,899 or the 22nd highest in 2013"

Yen insignificant? Yeah right...

Like I wrote earlier - search in different sources, not only in the Russian ones. As for Sevastopol - I didn't even mention that city and its not even the core case of this topic.
