A friend of mine told me about them because she works for them in creation of their sig designs and told me that they are a good project based on whitepaper released and I really got interest but ICO is not running well and based on my past experience an ICO that not able to reach their target had hard time recovering into token's ICO price.
In my opinion pass success bitcoin believers story like how bitcoin became medium for having a financial freedom and good life as well as positive speculation/predictions of known people plays a big role on popularity and demand in bitcoins.
Yes off course, in order for a person to buy coins they are putting fiat money and convert them to certain coins they want. eventhough current price of this coins btc and eth for example is so huge it is still okay since you can buy them in part like satoshi and gwei based on any amount you can afford.

If you are just interested in bitcoin then read on bitcoin boards there are lots of helpful threads there and almost complete with the basic information from what bitcoin is to ways of earning and growing btc.

Im planning to participate in some ICO´s like Trade or Naga....seemed like a good deal few weeks ago when ether was at 350 bucks.....but now at 700, does it even make sense to buy in an ICO atm?

If an ICO is pricing in eth based then the fluctuation of eth price would not affect the number of tokens you would received unless otherwise they make necessary adjustment and make official announcement about certain changes.
No I never think it is safe investment because knowing how bitcoin grows there is a chance of crash on anytime that make it a risky investment but we can't deny the fact that it really attracts lots of investors that makes it a good investment indeed.

I guessed you had accidentally lest your private key exposed somewhere or log in into a phising site that's why the thief has been able to make transaction in your wallet. Sad to say you just need to say goodbye to your coins because it is quite impossible to know the thief behind what happen. Just be careful next time.

$2 in my opinion (now 0.12)I think, Ill just stick to holding those coins Im fond of which are btc, eth and ltc. I am also planning to obtain some coins from ICO specially from ICO related with lending service because I see great potential for those kind of platforms.

as the graph stopped moving up for ETC for yesterday
i kept little more than half of ETC that i bought and will be keeping it for long term and sold the rest

WHY??

$588mln market cap and price @ ~5.6$ at time of posting with supply of 100mln waves
so it have the potential to reach 10$ when better wallet is made and if it's decentralized exchange get more attention
and 50$ or more if market cap reached 5bln and that will happen when some tokens based on it reach good prices
also development is steady and more people from the community started adopting it

but usage does as it is really revolutionary and that will make it a game changer.,

Are you planning to buy coins to keep and sell in the future but not soon? Why not split that 1000$ in two coins you said?
Why are you looking aside from myetherwallet? So far this is what I am using and got no problrm on it just need to be careful due to lots of phising site all around trying to steal user's private key. I had also heard of IMtoken which my friends are using but you need to pass their exam first.
I am from PH and the only wallet convenient to use here for converting in and out fiat to bitcoin is coins.ph the fee also sucks appraisal for bitcoin for buying and selling also sucks. If only coinbase is available here I would choose to use coinbase though.

Hinahabol?di nman..well hindi pa pero kung mabait kang mamayan pwede mo ireport ang earnings mo tru btc at isama sa itr para bayran yung tax kasi di naman mttrace ni BIR un basta2 haha.
