Europe is worse. Is making anything encrypted illegal. This will be interesting, no?
This is not the case yet. But there will be a world-wide fight by the state-maffias to try to keep their citizens as their slaves, and they start to see the eminent danger that cryptography in general presents for their power. Cryptography is an ultimate freedom tool, and states don't like freedom (states being based upon slavery). We'll see how this turns out. Freedom won the first crypto war, but the second one will be harder, with much more stupid people than 30 years ago.

Monero and Dash are both good coins. I use both to make sure Im covered. No need to trash either one in my opinion. Anyway the market will decide which is better.

The SEC is just looking for people to make examples out of in crypto. If they were going to do something they would have done it by now.

Re: Can ICN (Iconomi) perform well if ETH is crashing?
Im looking at altcoins to diversify a bit my bitcoins holdings. Sure, everyone likes to hold bitcoin and see it go up, but dips happen, and ultimately I want to stack up more BTC, so im looking at good projects that may grow, problem is, most alts are dogshit of course. But ICN seems to be one of the few that actually has a healthy looking graph, project sounds interesting, the only problem i see is: it is ultimately a token that depends on ETH and ETH graph is looking real bad... any ideas?
ETH will preform better because of ICONOMI doing better. But will not go other way. ICONOMI will not perform better or worse because of ETH preforming good or worse. Ofcourse if Ethereum network prove to not work at all, then both ETH and ICONOMI will be worthless.
ICONOMI is not a crypto. It is a asset tooken. a share of an investement platform. ICONOMI also owns one investment found that invest in ICOs.
If you want to invest in crypto look elsewhere.
Thank you for the clear explanation. Makes perfect sense to me.

Bitcoin will never be complete. Its an ongoing process and will continue to be. And the arrogant devs will continue to argue. Until something else comes along. I would put money on it.

Well the CEO of bitcoin is going to sue all the alt-coins for using his code. joking. The fact there are so many forks is proof that is open source.
