Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites?
by
bilyboy
on 23/09/2018, 23:44:02 UTC
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

If you don't trust rating ICO ,then you must do your own research about this ICO , you can review their team ,their produk and their choice to grow up when already listed on market .but be careful to chose ICO because many ICO is SCAM

To me the gradually growing Altcoin is NEO,its called Chinese Ethereum because its also based on updated and modified ETH smart contract technology.I also studied about its development team, very competent and experienced in block chain technology.I think if Ban news in China stop, then this Chinese product NEO can bring revolution in coming years,it may overtake ETH in upcoming few years. This is my extensive research about NEO.Share your ideas.

I think many people interest in ETH for Altcoin ,because Ethereum is no 2 in coinmarketcap after bitcoin . Ethereum have bright future after many project ICO Based Ethereum (ERC20) , so this is reason why Ethereum is most favorite Altcoin.

There is a lot change going on in the coin market cap top 200 this days and I don't know if I'm the only one who's aware of it. Could you believe new (4months-7month ago) listed token/coin claimed much slot in the CMC top #200 list. Are those old project which belong to the spot claimed no more profitable?

Your opinion Smiley

I think old coin still have chance to grow up . Like Electroneum , if we buy Electroneum in ICO with price 0.01$ and sell it when price reach 0.2$ we can got 20x profit from capital . But for now Electroneum price go down, i believe if price can going up again

We all know about the volatility of the crypto market, but somehow we still preach about the Hodl doctrine. What keeps you motivated to do so? and what sort of trust do you have in cryptocurrencies?

Investors like us are into predictions and discussions, but are we close to accuracy?

Discuss Smiley

Unexpected price increases such as the end of 2017. I did not expect the price of bitcoin to rise very high, so I was motivated to hold some altcoins ,and i hope altcoin price can going up in this year

Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin.
by

I started to like crypto and being an enthusiast with it lately. I had read many articles around in the internet and found some good attributes regarding on the  different kinds of crypto in the crypto market. And i found out that ethereum is a platform which also supports mostly of the altcoins being introduce by  its mean using ICO. Conducting a project from the crowds budget and in return from the contributions are the giving of tokens instead. And afterwards the tokens will be used in an exchange they prefer to partner with. That is why i am taking credit to ether as best crypto next to bitcoin because of the platforms being used by most of the crypto as well. What do you think? isn't it ether is the best crypto?

For now i think many altcoin can give you huge profit , like Electroneum . If you buy Electroneum in iCO  with price 0.01$ then you can got 20x profit from your capital if you hold Electroneum .because Electroneum price ever reached 0.2$

Re: Does crypto bring more risk than benefit?
by
bilyboy
on 20/09/2018, 23:58:37 UTC
Central bank Governor of Spain has told the cryptos bring more risk than the benefits to get. but I believe on more risk more gain theory. If you can not trust crypto, you will not be able to see its value. Risk is associated with all kinda business. It just has to be calculated properly that which one would be profitable for you.

please share your thoughts in favor of mine statement or against.

More risk then you can got more benefit i think .because if you don't want to take a risk .then you can't be succes , you must take risk to change your life . In crypto we must be smart and careful to take risk . I already take risk in ICO investment ,and i got profit 15x from my investment in ICO Electroneum.

Re: China tells people to buy gold & silver
by
bilyboy
on 18/08/2018, 14:45:35 UTC
Some major events as seen by China.

It turns out that there is also “advertising” for gold and silver in China, too. The big difference here is that it is China's government which is advertising the “opportunities” in gold and silver and it is urging the Chinese people to buy gold and silver.

An article from mining web-site, Mineweb quotes a program which appears on China's largest (state-owned) television company, promoting bullion-buying in general, but stressing that silver is currently the best value for investors (no surprise to regular readers):

https://seekingalpha.com/article

China has $2 Trillion to $5 Trillion for Gold ?? Chinese government told/encourages its citizens to buy gold and silver in 2012.

The chinese government tells that way because they afraid that the things they've serve will be useless because of the digital currency like bitcoin and altcoins. I think they suggest that because the price of it are not stable that's why they don't want to have a connection on this. But in reality cryptocoins gives us more benefits and profits than gold and silver.

Economics may sound boring and uninteresting at first especially when it has nothing to do with the major you are taking. But, we have to understand the fact that our major or job for that matter does not dictate what we can do in future. The same with me I mean my job is a teacher and yet I do cryptocurrency activities, and that's where economics will become helpful.

Bitcoin dipped to 7500$ and i think now it is danger zone could go to 3000$-4000$ again.
Good chance for newcomers, sorry for those who bought bitcoin at 18,000$ an 11,000$ Cheesy

What do you think? How low bitcoin can go?

Just hodl it

If it is an alt-coin then better know what are their plans for the future because sometimes the price of alt-coin would just continue to fall,
There are times that it is better to cut loss than to continue on holding .
You should know when to quit and when to continue

Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ?
by
bilyboy
on 14/08/2018, 23:58:51 UTC
When will people spend BTC as easily as fiat , not seeing it as an investment opportunity but a better currency for them to use ? Most of my friends that I have currently told about Bitcoin are most intrigued by its rapid rate of growth and not its outstanding features as a currency. They don't really care that it is free from government control , but are more focused on the fact that it has risen xy%

I don't really spend much of my Bitcoin , because I am always in fear.
I am not talking about cashing out , but for digital goods.

How do you spend 10 mBTC on a 5$ digital good when you believe that the same 10mBTC is worth atleast 15$ , probably more.
How much of your Bitcoin have you hoarded , and how much have you really spent ?
I am under the impression that people tend to hoard more with BTC than with fiat , considering it an investment more than a currency

I don't know how to make a poll here , so :- http://strawpoll.me/1793917
This is not referring to your blockchain.info statistic , which includes money you have moved around. I am looking at money you have truly spent vs total amount of BTC you have received.

Overall , I'm trying to look at how much my guess is true by the poll and your estimates of when majority of people will start looking at BTC as a currency.

EDIT : I'm not sure this is the right section , tell me if this should go in General Discussion or so.

I think it all depends on how we live it. We live in the world of digital currency for profit by utilizing the irregular bitcoin prices. There is an opportunity for us to get a profit or can be called also with investment. There are even people who seriously invest in bitcoin with a large enough capital just by utilizing the ups and downs of prices to get a profit. There we can feel comfortable using bitcoin.

Re: Crypto replacing fiat?
by
bilyboy
on 14/08/2018, 23:47:19 UTC
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.

I don't think that crypto will replace fiat , the two currency will forever exist especially fiat because normally we all used fiat money in our daily lives and we see digital currency as an investment since it has a big potential to grow, the two has their own ways helping us people.

Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money
by

volatility of the cryptocurrency is the reason why we cannot use it as a money for the entire world but i think that government can do something like stacking the price into highest value so we can use it daily but the down side, bitcoins will not be profitable since the price wont go down anymore.

Re: Invest in BTC vs Invest in Real Estate?
by
bilyboy
on 12/08/2018, 23:39:24 UTC
Bitcoin chart is going up and down some times I am thinking maybe I should invest part of my BTC (at least the part of the profit  I’ve made on crypto) into something real?!
Let’s say I can buy share of real estate company and get the part of profit (50-100% per Year).

Should I
Spend all my BTC on that shares?
                Spend small (profit) part?
Or just do nothing and wait?

Huh?!

I’ll do appreciate for answers with any suggestions and recommendations!

Both investment were good, but at the same time there are pros and cons, if you invest in realestate you should have a large amount of capital. And also if you want to have an investmentvin btc even a small amount will do. In real estate as times goes by the value will become bigger and bigger unlike in the bitcoin yes there is a chance to have a good value but there is no assurance to that.

Both the gold and the bitcoin are good to hold for long term investment because they have potential both to grown up their price nowadays. Much better to hold bitcoin it its safe for any who wants to get if it is in safe storage, while this precious metal gold is handy object easy to find the theif. But we cannot argue this thing both are profitable by hold long term investments.

I've seen some restaurants and business that are accepting bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a method of their payment but I didn't try it because it's not worth it to pay for things and food for your bitcoin because of the high transaction fee.
