Forgive me if this has come up, but is anyone having trouble getting items to show up in their cart on Mineority? I know there have been "issues", but it seems like every else is getting farther than I am...

Bitcoin Private to be listed on HitBTC. Top10 exchange.

eventually... supposedly...

At least it is shown here https://hitbtc.com/system-health

Oh I know, there's just been so much talk for so long. Plus, I don't exactly love HitBTC. I'm sure they'll get around to it. Maybe lol.

Any help ?
Thank you.

Happened to myself (twice) and others, left it alone for a while (the 2nd time) and it fixed itself. Always around 97-99% from what I've seen.

Not exactly free, but a Ledger Nano S would do the trick. Hardware storage for multiple coins. Saved me a ton of hard drive space in the past couple of years.

Re: CPU+GPU mining together

You can use xmr-stak-cpu (or xmr-stak and configure it only use CPU).
Run it in parallel with your GPU mining software.
Don't expect to earn a huge amount on one rig though  Cheesy

I have not seen any stability issues so far.

Same here. Using XMR Stak to CPU mine Electroneum alongside GPU mining w/ EWBF on 2 rigs. No stability issues between the two for several months now. Not making me rich, but otherwise those CPU would essentially doing nothing.

Wallet stuck at 99.85% sync for like 2 hours already...   Huh

Are you using the bootstrap? I had the same issue earlier today, not sure why. I'm starting over and just downloading the whole thing from scratch to see if that helps.

Re: Why do you small timers even bother?

Yeah, so, six cards running (2x 1050, 2x 1060, 1x 1070, 1x 1070ti), and even with prices not being as high as they were, I'm typically pulling about $250/month. That's Just GPU money. I don't even bother calculating what I bring in w/ my CPUs or POS mining. I work a decent paying desk job, and can actually watch my pools/exchanges while I'm there. I grew up in a, let's say, less than wealthy family. While this may not be everyone's experience, I'd still mine if I barely turned a profit based just on the fact that it's passive income.

Stupid question but if i have my btc on a ledger nano S will i get the 1:1 swap or do i need to send by btc to HitBTC or KUCOIN?
Is binance supporting the fork?

So it would be there, but you would need to extract your private key from the Nano, which I have no intention of doing. I would be careful w/ HitBTC, as some coins have insane withdrawal fees (example: I bought 3000 Dentacoin, and the withdrawal fee = 18315 DCN). I'm think I'm going to make a new Jaxx wallet today, send BTC there, wait for fork, send BTC back to old location, and extract the key from the Jaxx wallet

Re: New to mining. How to get started with Gridseed miners?
by
binkyj357

Assuming you already have the Gridseeds, just get a Raspberry Pi and install Minera. As I recall it was pretty simple even when I knew nothing about mining.

Well there's the whole Bitcoin Private thing about to happen. I'll probably prep some coin for that if the block hasn't hit yet. Can't say how promising anything is at the moment, but I read an article that mentioned some others. Ripple is getting a fork called Onology, Ethereum Classic is getting Callisto, and Monero is getting a fork known as MoneroV. Haven't done any research on those, but free coins are free coins IMO.

mainnet bootstrap.dat now ready on our website Smiley

Should we place it to somewhere or what?

Could be wrong, but I think we still need a wallet to put it in...

That seems like a backward release process though...
