I am trying to set up my own private server on a local network box running windows. I would like to be able to set up a pool to hit with my boxes to regulate time between blocks a bit vs solo mining. I have set up a couple diferent coins using Coinium, and although it appears to be working (hashrate showing and accepted shares), I haven't found any blocks yet. Not sure if its not actually working, or if its just bad luck.

It is nearly impossible to find any reference on the setup for specific coins for Coinium.

I'm wondering what other options do i have. I have looked into NOMP and UNOMP, but can only find linux based guides to using it. Does anyone know of a guide for Windows or could you make a recommendation for a different stratum software to use in my situation. Any assistance would be appreciated and would gladly tip if I can get set up and find some blocks of something. Thanks

AHHHH, Thank you. Got the UI wallet running now, so I have an address I could pool mine. Can anyone assist with the second question....Is it possible to solo GPU mine using dstm or ewbf miner with this wallet. I set up the conf file. When I try to connect with my miner on local, it says "connected to 127.0.0.1" then says "connection closed by server r:0"

I need some help. I am tech savvy and learn easy, but have never ran a wallet like this. I am on WIN. I got the Snowgemd.exe up and running and wallet synced. That is as far as I got. I see a .jar  swing walletUI file, but it is a .jar which opens with WinRAR by default. What am I supposed to run it with.

Question two. how do I get an address. I see the generate new address commands mentioned, but I can't get the -cli.exe to run. When I click it, it just closes right away.

Question three. Can I solo mine with windows? Ive solo mined other coins, with qt wallets so know how to set those up. Im just a little confused as some people are saying solo mining is disabled in windows, and others that are saying its not. A little clarification would be nice.

I did open a support ticket. Hopefully you are correct. I haven't done much trading with them before, so no sure what to expect. Maybe I'm just unlucky but have had nothing but bad experiences so far with them. They questionably delisted signatum, although I only had a test amount there, but that was still disappointing. Then I went to deposit my Hush the other day when I saw it was spiking, but the wallet was disabled so I could do nothing with it. Now this....IDK, just seems like a lot of issues, but the respect you guys have for them is encouraging that I will eventually see my XMR again someday...

Yeah, but they have my XMR. So your telling me if you went to the bank, handed them a $100 bill and said, "please deposit this into account #012345678 and instead of doing so, they just decided to keep it because you didn't tell them the name of the persons account, you would be OK with that?

The least they could do is say, Hey, we need to know the name of the person on the account so we can deposit the money.

Obviously XMR doesn't REQUIRE a payment ID.

And at the end of the day. They are the ones keeping my money. Not the web wallet.

I am new to Monero, but have done plenty of business with other coins. I sent a deposit to Cryptopia using "mymonero" web wallet. In the web wallet I noticed it said payment ID optional, so I did not use it. My monero never showed up at Cryptopia. I went to verify the transaction and address were correct at Cryptopia. So I clicked deposit and noticed that it says "Payment ID required" or you will lose your deposit. Did I really just lose my almost $100 worth of XMR?

Where did it go? Are they really just going to keep my XMR? If so they are absolute Crooks.

Looking forward to trying the zcash miner. Sick of paying EWBF's bar tab since he released and bailed, but it's still the best option out there. Hope you can at least match it and eventually exceed his results.

EthD stands for ETH DEAD. Should have known when I tried to join airdrop the first day AD2 was listed and never got anything.

All in all 5% really is quite a crappy return. You would be much better off investing in other ALTs and making your money off of the market, or one of the other many POS coins that are or will be soon available that pay more.

I believe that is the dev's account. With each transaction a little more ETHD is minted. Not sure exactly how this coin works in that regard but.

Guess because I'm a newbie I got snubbed. Seriously guys..there has to be a better way to do this. Guess the dev lied when he said "Everyone who messaged us will get thier air drop" SMH.

I have to agree. Call me biased. The deal was that the airdrop was open to everybody so would it be that much of a stretch to think that the obviously very smart dev of this project has a way to check if newbies are legit or someone from same IP requesting ETHD sent to the same wallet.

Or maybe he is just not sending it to newbies all together. Although I am a "newbie" I have been browsing these forums for a couple months now but just learning cryptos. I decided to make my first post because it is something I am truly interested in. I would definitely be turned off on the project if he decided to just pick and choose who he actually sends airdrops to.
