I would assume that people have already taken their Black Friday profits for shopping already so theres no reason to stop the momentum for now.

Hi guys.  I've been trying to avoid the spec forum, but I decided to break down and jump back in to say "hi".  I'm pretty optimistic about bitcoin, but this move is surprising.
Glad your back!

that makes no sense. miners make bitcoin not USD.  so how will they put profits into bids?
Yeah, I don't get it now.. Do they hold?
I assume he believes miners will sell their BTC then put in bid walls beneath that. I think if this were the case then the miners would just keep selling into each other lol.  Maybe i just cant get my head around this thoery

You will like this news then: MT.GOX PRESS : Statement Regarding Temporary Hiatus on U.S. Dollar Withdrawals.

So no USD withdrawals outright for 2 weeks. At least they are upfront about it, rather than 'stalling'.
they stalled me for over a week. Get your head out of Gox's ass!

Guess Ill be moving to Bitstamp finally.

I am waiting a week now for 4 seperate US Wire transfers to hit my bank. This process normally takes 24 - 72 hours. Support has kindly answered ,they appologized and would process, but that was 2 days ago and still waiting. Im surprised others aren't having same problems.

Something is definitely weird about this.

Re: Liberty Reserve shutdown is a boost for Bitcoin?

ive been saying this. LR was huge in the underground world. Those transactions are going to go somewhere. PerfectMoney will take a big chunk of them. But with PerfectMoney saying NO to americans opening accounts then Bitcoin is the only alternative. As people figure this out and send their money in we will see a rise for sure IMO.

LibertyReserve going out of business is part of it also.  These LR users have to go somewhere. Bitcoin is the best option.

Damn you Americanos ! Sell your Alt coins on BTC-E transfer the BTC to MT GOX and sell for a $10 gain !  Soooo jealous

And then - how do they get the USD in their hands? I think the spread is due to americans buying BTC at MtGox so they can move the BTC to some other exchange where they can more easily get their fiats transferred to US.
Currently its pretty easy to wire USD out of Gox directly into my bank account. Always has been

talkgold.com  has many offering this same thing. This is nothing new. Check the "bank" jurisdiction before sending money there. Panama, Belize, New Zealand and your looking to get your money stollen/frozen in due time.

You're out of your mind.

Possibly. But I made good money trading wave 5, A and B.

Hey sanity is overrated, I just don't think that price is possible. There are more people in the market now than then. Ergo, more demand, math, higher price.

As prices sink over the following months many will leave. Sure, we all say "If it goes to $50 I'm going all in!" But that's not the way it actually works. Once we break out under $50 the selling pressure will be huge.

All I care about is multiplying my BTC in that time frame. It could go up, it could go down, doesn't matter, more BTC, more happy. This is how you win the game.

Can you withdraw from btc-e via an application?

I don't think so. Here is the API. I don't see deposit/withdrawal functions there.

I know the api. I just thought you might have done it already.
yes you can do this via API. However, you must contact support and they must approve you to use those API's. But they do exist.
