The sooner to start your portfolio the better, I remember seeing some older coins on a chart with a one year timeline, there is still a lot of money to be made.

For 100x to happen with the current total market cap of cryptocurrencies, you will have to look for coins ranked 150 and lower, because the top ones have huge market cap now.

Do not get me wrong, of course this is a great time for crypto. But apparently every single coin except very few is rising by 2-digit percentages right now.
This growth of course cannot be maintained, but can this even be healthy for the market as a whole? This is currently pumping up way too hard. We went from below $500B to $650B total market cap over the course of a few days. On the one hand this makes me happy, but I have a lot of doubts for the near future.

Of course it cannot be maintained, this pattern has been seen before, and is normally followed by corrections. But it goes up and down at the moment, according to the inverse of Bitcoin. You can see the downwards pressure now on Bitcoin happening, perhaps this will sustain over the week. As long as it does, it will result in a general appreciation of alts. I can see now a lot of my alts finally FINALLY gaining ground, cutting my losses overall to below 40% from what I originally invested with BTC months ago.
Mixed feelings, but I guess if BTC has to go down again so I break even, even if BTC goes down to 15k I will be in big fiat profits above 20%.
wow that seems to be a High price for me, 250K is over than 100K $. the news of master node really affects the value of it
Closer to 300.000 $ currently. It's a large investment for sure, but VeChain's value and its tokens should increase quite a bit in 2018. Noone knows what kind of "dividends" a masternode will yield. I'm certain that the reward is going to be worthwhile in the long run.Also VET is not available on Bittrex.
The question is, what to do, when big correction starts. Convert all altcoins to bitcoin/litecoin or get out money and wait to buy back?

That's definitely a bad sign for a coin. I guess it's mooning just because of being pumped. The 12 mil marketcap is quite a small sum. Wait.. What I don't understand about the coin is how trading volume is a lot bigger than market capitalization. I thought the volume was always lower!And I do not think that their technology will be used in the future and that the team is capable of contributing something new to the aviation world
As for their project - well, I don't think there's a specific coin needed for flying on planes! And the coin is mostly for pilots, I guess, and there aren't many in the world. Moreover, the idea is to make the system less corrupted, so that only eligible pilots really fly the planes. Why would the corrupted ones support this idea?
newbie getting seriously involved in altcoin -- What Exchange To Use?
hi all, been a lurker of the forums for a few weeks. really excited to join the discussion around here.
like the title says, I'm just now getting seriously involved (bought my first btc three days ago) and am now looking to actively trade up and coming altcoins.
But I am struggling to find a exchange to use! Bittrex is not accepting new users right now, Polynex is failing my verification over and over and over and I'm getting tired of it.
What do you guys recommend?
