Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that we stopped the Bitcoin Cashback website and started from scratch with a German-only speaking website Coin-Ratgeber.de, targeting crypto newcomers.

We want to thank everybody for your trust and wish you and the whole crypto community a great 2019!

Thanks also to Steuern-Bitcoin that helped us to find the right direction for the new website.

Do all of your partners actually know that you are providing rakebacks using your referral links and approve you of doing so, or are you sometimes just arranging your own referral link, and giving back some percentage of the referral earnings to whoever signs up under you? If it's the latter option, then it could be risky as you may be in violation of terms and conditions depending on the site you are on.
Yes, we ask all partners whether we can advertise cashback with them. It takes lots of efforts to convince them sometimes. We focus on not hurting any partner T&C as our cashback programm should be longterm.

Also, I noticed that a lot of your partners actually do not give out any extra benefits... What's the benefit for the user to see them if there are no cashbacks available?
With most of the partners listed we are in negotiation. For some partners we first have to proof that we are able to bring in customers. Only then we get offers for our customers activated. So we hope that also some guys just sign up with our deals without getting a benefit yet. Just because they like the concept and see the future benefit.

But I do like the fact that you're also basically reviewing the site the same time you're offering out your cashbacks. The page design is kind of broken as I can scroll to the right and see a bunch of blank space, but other than that I can see a bright future out of this site if you can partner up with more businesses.
Yeah, all reviews are independent & unpaid. Especially in the ICO circus almost all sites are paid. We are financially independent and we do not rely on paid articles. Most deals we use for ourselves too. There are no scammy sites advertised.
We improve our website regularly, takes some time to make it very usable.
Thanks for your kind words btw!

Definitely base your investment choices on fundamentals!
You don't want to hold a shitcoin through a whole bearmarket, just because you expected a random pump without any fundamental news.

Also always do your due diligence. Don't blindly trust so-called veterans like John McAfee, who recently shilled coins that stopped being developed years ago (f.e. see ReddCoin: https://github.com/reddcoin-project)

Check the team members' biographies, Github activity, partnerships, etc. to make sure your investment has a longterm perspective.

Imho lots of good calls already in this thread.

My personal favourites are (in no particular order):

- Stratis
- IOTA
- Zilliqa

Also make sure to check out Dfinity, Cosmos and the DAGLabs coin, though they haven't entered the market, yet.

KuCoin has extremely high withdrawal fees though. Each Ethereum withdrawal costs you about 0.01ETH for example.

Binance definitely the exchange to go at the moment, especially if you make use of the trading fee discount.

In any case, we recommend every new user to have a closer look at the subject of security.

Personally, I use multiple Ledger Nano S for most of my coins, and I'm extremely happy with it.
Other coins, e.g. IOTA, whose private key is simply a "seed string", are not yet supported. Nevertheless, they can safely be stored in a cold storage (e.g. paper wallet) by manually applying an AES encryption with your individual cypher key.

Definitely an exciting topic, we would appreciate, if you check out the blog section on our website. We have already written several articles, including a Trezor / Ledger and Hot Wallet / Cold Storage comparisons, as we believe this should be one of the most relevant topics for crypto investors.
