Hopefully they will do something related to this token project as soon as possible so none will feel to be a victim or being scammed. I did not invest much but I did buy some token during the pre-sale with the money that I got from their free raffle and reward from their free wheel. Lucky me that I did not invest my own money much in this project because I was not that confident when I looked at how easy people can get free token from the airdrop compared to the prize of the token during pre-sale.
FortuneJack is a very old and big casino with good business and high reputation. They know what to do best for their company and will never let things down easily. Life is not easy and not all investment even from pre-sale will lead to profit and I think it's not what FortuneJack wanted. However, their users and investors on the token must know of risk of investment and try to do right things by learning from this case and avoid to do similar bad investment in future.

FortuneJack months ago announced that they will give some interesting information about the token, so even it has been a long time since token presale, I think it's time to wait patiently for further information from the company.

None of us here doubt about their reputation especially when we are talking about gambling business but currently we are talking about their other project which is still unclear whether they do it themselves or they are in collaboration with third party developers for this token project. What I cant really understand and accept is the fact that Fortunejack are not really active when it comes to updating the token project although there are so many people asking and complaining in the telegram group. Maybe it is easy for us to tell people to be patient because we do not invest anything but for those who spent some money on it, it is not that easy.

Did they conduct a presale without releasing its full tokenomics first? And when did they do the presale? If it's more than a month, it's just right to demand for an update about it. Even if the development takes long, team behind the project or business should always be transparent. People will just lose their trust the longer they don't give updates about it.

Being impatient will not do good with the current situation. What we can only do now is to put our trust to the team that they will not destroy their established reputation in the gambling community for so many years. Let's hope this month we'll get an update from them about their token.
Transparency is below 0 for this project, they had a seed sale but no details were given about the actual amount it was sold or any at all, after that they started selling the airdrop and again no detail were given about how much it was sold(several times the airdrop bank went to 0, but than it was rested back to few millions saying someone cheated). So I wouldn't expect any transparency soon.

They told me they were going to make a joint statement over a month ago, that the next one would be made together — and that was a lie. They’re liars who now only have the balls to say it’s not their project and that they were just partnered with them. I clearly remember that when you spoke to them through FortuneJack support in January, February, and March, they kept saying big things were coming and that we should stay calm. Then, right at the end of March, they removed the JackToken project from their website, and the support team’s narrative completely changed. They started saying it was a separate project and that they didn’t know anything about it. They’re shameless.
Damn! They are refusing to take accountability for their stupid mistake which will definitely cause them way bigger losses in the long-term unless they take a U-Turn and fix this mess that they created right away.

Am not one of the victims of this mess, but I definitely know how it feels to lose hard earned money pointlessly which is why I hope they make that U-Turn right away.

You're absolutely right — hopefully the team takes swift action to address these issues and avoid leaving anyone feeling scammed or misled. You're lucky to have minimized your risk, and it's good you approached the project with caution. Unfortunately, many others weren’t as lucky and invested significant amounts during the private and pre-sale rounds, based on the promises and promotion from FortuneJack.

The huge price difference between the airdrop/free rewards and the pre-sale rate should have been a red flag, but the way it was marketed gave a false sense of confidence to many long-time users and supporters.

At this point, it’s not about profit anymore — it’s about fairness. People deserve refunds or compensation for what was clearly a mishandled and poorly communicated launch. Let’s hope the team does the right thing before the damage becomes permanent.

However, whether the claim is real or not but if the token project is failed and many early investors feels that they are being scammed, it will give big impact to Fortunejack in general.
There are thousands of users who are on subscribing the Token telegram group, lets say 10% were early investors who spent some money on the token, they will start to spread the words online through social media or in the internet in general, it will affect FJ's reputation absolutely.
Already looks like their token project failed badly thanks to taking a different approach and they are failing to accept accountability due to which their reputation started sinking recently in this forum at least.

Their 10+ years of trust and experience in crypto gambling won't bail them out of this situation unless they refund all the legit victims appropriately.

Thanks for the support so far, everyone. Let’s stay strong and united.

We’ve seen enough delays — we need refunds now, not vague promises or "upcoming posts." Many of us lost thousands, and the token launch only made things worse.

📌 The FortuneJack team mentioned a post is coming in their Telegram:

If no refund plan is shared soon, the next step is publicly exposing the LinkedIn profiles and photos of the individuals who were listed on the JackToken website. We have collected snapshots, since we started feeling the fishiness of $JACK. We are ready to hold people accountable — respectfully but firmly.

Join and support each other in their FORTUNEJACK's TG CHAT:

We also have a small internal group to discuss the matter among ourselves - I request supporters to join us on TG -  https://t.me/jackinvestors

Am surprised to hear about FJ screwing their reputation thanks to their token which goes to show that they couldn't handle their own greed. Disappointing stuff.

They have claimed that the team behind the token is not the same team behind Fortunejack as a whole casino business.
I think this claim can be used later once everything goes worse because they are not fully responsible for the token project as they have other party to blame if it will completely failed in the near future.
However, whether the claim is real or not but if the token project is failed and many early investors feels that they are being scammed, it will give big impact to Fortunejack in general.

Yes this might be their excuse if the project fails, but even if they try to say that it will still hurt their reputation. People will continue to associate the token with FortuneJack no matter what they say.

What's worse is, instead of offering refunds they seem to be continuing the project and possibly just to scam more people or eventually rugpull.
I'm one of those who invested time into this token, claiming daily airdrops. Until now, the tokens I’ve accumulated are still not withdrawable.
And now, their telegram mini game/website isn't even accessible anymore.

There is only one way to rectify this issue - REFUND OUR HARD EARNED MONEY @FORTUNEJACK @JACKTOKEN

~snip~
Fortunejack team has made a great mistake here with their token launch. They tried to follow other tokens projects and created telegram airdrop bot. I think FortuneJack is the first reputable casino to run their own developed token airdrop in this way. They should have followed the strategy of other casinos like Rollbit or Shuffle. FJ team had failed to attract investors for the higher rate in pre-sale. Now the listing price is nothing compared to the pre-sale price. I'm wondering how they will regain their reputation which is getting damaged for the mess up with token launch. Anyway, I have only 8.4k tokens, and my withdrawable token is zero.
I have about 150k and both from bought airdrop and presale and only got ~280 to withdraw, and as far as i can see no one from the top users that held even 1M+ are not being to withdraw, but there are quite some sells since TGE so only option here is that FJ is selling tokens to scam even more.

I believe they didn't want to take any responsibility, and they've done things in such a pathetic way so that if someone complains, they can say there was a token and that the market just didn’t help — when in reality, they’ve completely changed everything. The token now has no utility, is no longer linked to them, and the tokenomics have been altered to destroy any value. Honestly, any random memecoin is better made than this trash. It’s clear they’re trying to go unnoticed, ignoring all the noise just like they've done since January. I never imagined something like this from FortuneJack, but they’ve proven to be true scavengers of the worst kind.
Maybe they just wanted to surprise their users for FJ 10 years anniversary by scamming them and taking their money  Grin

Couldn’t agree more! I would like to warn incoming users that FORTUNEJACK AND JACKTOKEN are scammers of all time!

Say what. JackToken is already live on Solana DEX.

From $0.02 during the pre-sale, it's now at $0.00058 on @birdeye... I'm not surprised and honestly, it might soon be worthless.
This is exactly why we ask for refund, that would have made more sense than launching this token.

I wonder what will be the utility of this token.

Look at their latest announcement on Telegram. It’s unprofessional and gives off serious red flags:

Subject: FortuneJack’s $JACK Token Launch = 99% Price Crash, Centralized Supply – We Demand Refunds

After months of silence and broken promises, FortuneJack has launched the $JACK token on Solana — and it’s turned out to be a massive betrayal of early investors and supporters.

🃏 Contract Address:
8mAeVUc1vjQQFzhXbp9brqEsZsujfWDuVwnayRkD1LZC
Network: Solana
Liquidity: Raydium

What was promised as a groundbreaking utility token has turned into a disaster — no proper unlocks, zero meaningful updates, and a price crash that wiped out nearly everyone’s holdings.

💥 Price Crash – Real Proof of the Scam
Presale price: $0.02

Private stage average: $0.01

Launch price: ~$0.0005 (yes, that’s a 99% loss)

I personally invested $6,000 for 600,000 tokens at around $0.01 average.
Today, those tokens are worth ~$300.

📉 See for yourself – $JACK Price Chart:

🧾 Extreme Centralization & Rigged Launch
87% of total supply is still held by team-controlled wallets

Only ~2.85% of the token supply is in liquidity (~$29K)

Another ~10% is held by a random wallet, most likely waiting to dump

This was not a fair launch — it’s a low-liquidity setup designed to trap buyers and allow insiders to offload later.

🧠 Holders Breakdown & Ongoing Complaints:

🛑 We Demand:
Full refund or fair compensation to early supporters, private buyers, and airdrop holders

Immediate release of vested tokens, per original commitments

A transparent explanation of tokenomics, liquidity structure, and wallet distribution

Public accountability from FortuneJack management

⚠️ To FortuneJack:
You’ve been around since 2013. You built a name. And now — you’re destroying it for a quick scam?
Your users believed in you. Many invested thousands. And you returned the favor with silence, lies, and a rigged launch.

Fix this. Refund your supporters. Redeem your reputation — or lose it permanently.

We were misled, we were dumped on, and now we are speaking up.

Re: How actually miner's earn the Bitcoin ?
by
bitcoinmaze
on 20/06/2025, 11:06:33 UTC
As the title my question is how they earn bitcoin by mining?

Is it only from the block rewards or they also get btc for the validation of transactions?

Miners earn Bitcoin mainly through two sources:
   1.   Block Rewards: This is the primary incentive. When a miner successfully adds a new block to the blockchain, they receive a fixed number of newly created bitcoins. This reward halves roughly every four years (halving event). As of now, the block reward is [insert current reward, e.g., 3.125 BTC if it’s post-2024 halving].
   2.   Transaction Fees: In addition to the block reward, miners also collect all the transaction fees from the transactions included in the block. These fees are paid by users who want their transactions confirmed faster.

So yes, miners earn both from the block reward and the transaction fees. Over time, as the block reward continues to decrease due to halvings, transaction fees are expected to become a more significant part of miner income.

Hope that clears it up!

Re: Bitcoin Mining VS just buying Bitcoin and HODLing! Which one is more profitable?
by
bitcoinmaze
on 20/06/2025, 09:16:31 UTC
BTC

I am the VP of a Bitcoin Mining facility and i come across this question ALL THE TIME!!!!

Here is why i thing Bitcoin Mining is better option than just buying and HODLing and below is an article by me about it.

1. Long-term, you accumulate more BTC
2. Daily cash flow instead of stagnant holding
3. Greater flexibility when selling your BTC
4. Purchase of real, tangible assets
5. Combined value of machines and cash flow
6. Tax benefits from purchase and operation
7. Connection with experienced miners and OGs
8. Resale of machines at a good price
9. Opportunities for profitable strategies
10. Limited options if you only hold BTC

Link: https://bitmernmining.com/why-bitcoin-mining-is-a-smarter-investment-than-just-buying-it/

Let me know any takes on the subject that i can use to defent my position, but also if you think that BUYing and HODLing it makes more sense, give me reasons please!

Smiley

Great breakdown — as someone deeply involved in mining myself, I totally relate to this debate.

You're right: Bitcoin mining is more than just acquiring BTC — it's building infrastructure. It’s an active investment, and when done right, it often yields more BTC over time and comes with business-level benefits that simple HODLing doesn’t. A few points to strengthen your position:

Additional Arguments for Mining Over HODLing:

🔌 Energy Arbitrage Opportunities: Miners can exploit ultra-low or stranded energy, gaining BTC at a much lower cost than market price.

🛠️ Technological Edge: Being involved in mining keeps you plugged into hardware trends, firmware optimizations, and operational alpha.

💼 Enterprise-Grade Tax Strategy: HODLers can't expense electricity, depreciation, labor, or infrastructure — miners can.

🛡️ Anti-fragility: A diversified mining operation can adapt to network conditions (difficulty, halving, fees), unlike a passive wallet.

🤝 Ecosystem Role: Miners secure the network. That gives them influence, access, and exposure in ways a passive investor doesn't get.

That said, for fairness:

When HODLing Might Make More Sense:

🔐 Simplicity: For people without access to cheap power, hardware, or mining know-how, buying and cold-storing BTC is low-risk and effective.

📉 Bear Markets: Mining margins can go negative in extended downturns. HODLers aren’t exposed to operational losses.

💰 Liquidity: HODLers can instantly sell or trade their BTC. Miners must run infrastructure and wait for ROI.

Ultimately, it's about your edge. If your facility has the infrastructure, energy contracts, and technical know-how, mining turns Bitcoin into a productive asset. You’re not just investing — you're manufacturing BTC, which is powerful.

Appreciate the post and solid article — it’s good to see this discussed more clearly in the community. 👊

Re: Bitcoin must upgrade or fall victim to quantum computing in 5 years
by
bitcoinmaze
on 20/06/2025, 07:44:16 UTC
This is just a random news I get but people are really talking about it.

I have just read about it not long ago but I have also read somewhere before that by 2030, it is possible that ECDSA becomes vulnerable to quantum computing. This is 2025 which means 20230 is just 5 years away from now.

What do you think about this disturbing news, I have been read more than 5 news about this and I saw another one today. What are bitcoin developers doing about it?

If you need the source that I get today's news from, I can post it which has the the title that I have as the title on this thread.

Thanks for bringing this up—quantum computing and its potential impact on Bitcoin is definitely a topic worth paying attention to, even if it’s still largely theoretical for now.

You're right that some experts suggest that by the early 2030s, certain quantum advancements could pose a threat to cryptographic algorithms like ECDSA, which Bitcoin currently uses for its digital signatures. However, it's important to note a few things:

The threat isn't immediate. As of 2025, no quantum computer exists that can break ECDSA at the scale Bitcoin uses. The tech is progressing, but there's still a significant gap between where we are now and where a real threat would exist.

Bitcoin devs are aware. The core developers and researchers in the Bitcoin ecosystem are actively monitoring the situation. There have already been discussions and proposals around post-quantum cryptography (PQC), and if needed, Bitcoin can undergo a soft fork or upgrade to support quantum-resistant signature schemes like Lamport signatures, Schnorr variants, or others.

Bitcoin's design allows for flexibility. While changes to Bitcoin are slow and conservative (as they should be), it is technically possible to transition to quantum-safe cryptography before the threat becomes real. What's important is to act before quantum computers are actually capable of breaking current cryptography, not necessarily years in advance.

Please do share the source you mentioned—it’s always helpful to see how the media is framing this, and whether it's a solid technical report or just headline hype.

In the last few years of my active and drastic moves towards Bitcoin, what I have come to understand with Bitcoin is that, no matter how little your portion is, it drives its own units interest and likewise loses if when the Market either go up and down.

My few Bitcoin investment done using my leftover and other extra cash in two years ago have yielded enough interest and now I comfortably own my own home through my Bitcoin this is exciting time for all the Bitcoinairs and knowing that after achieving a milestone we still have some Bitcoin waiting for the next big opportunity.

Wow, that's truly inspiring! Congratulations on reaching such a significant milestone—owning your own home through your Bitcoin investments is no small feat. It really highlights the power of long-term conviction and smart financial discipline, especially using leftover or extra funds.

You're absolutely right—Bitcoin has a way of rewarding patience. Even small holdings can grow over time and create real opportunities.

Subject: $JACK Token Update Promises Broken Again – Community Demands Refunds

It’s now more than a week since FortuneJack’s latest announcement on June 2, 2025, where they claimed the $JACK token project was back on track. You can read the original post here:

[🃏 JackToken is back.

It's been a while, so let’s clear the table. 🧵

Where have we been
The lack of communication wasn't ideal, but our silence wasn’t death — it was building and solving internal challenges.
Infrastructure, tokenomics, utility — all had to be rewired from the ground up.
Now we’re loaded, and the deck is stacked. ♠️

App Maintenence
Yeah, we had bugs and load issues. Painful — but inevitable when building something real.
We’re shifting to a new architecture — faster, lighter, scalable.

Withdrawals
You will get access to your airdrops + bought $JACK — all according to the original vesting and unlocks. We’re finalizing the updated withdrawal module 🔧 — expect a full post on this later.

DEX launch?
Soon. Very soon. 👀
We’re talking several days — so stay tuned and pay attention. We will be addressing all of your concerns.

Thank you for your patience and for sticking with us 🤝]

Yet here we are — no full post, no withdrawals, no DEX, no updates.
Once again, we’re left in the dark.

What’s really going on?
This is a pattern of silence and delay that’s been ongoing for months. First, users were encouraged to invest in $JACK under the promise of innovation, utility, and integration into the FortuneJack ecosystem. Then came:

  • Lack of communication for months
  • A broken app with no proper support
  • No access to bought or airdropped tokens
  • Now, more promises — with no follow-up

The June 2 announcement only reignited hope for many affected users. Now that hope feels like another smokescreen. The vague promises of "soon" are wearing thin.

We demand:
Full transparency about the status of $JACK, including:

  • Real timelines for DEX launch and withdrawals
  • Clarification of what’s actually being built
  • Detailed explanation of previous delays

Immediate access to purchased and airdropped $JACK, as promised

Refunds or compensation for users misled by promotional posts and announcements — including the one made here:

Subject: Still No Response from FortuneJack – Community Deserves Answers & Refunds

It’s been days since the latest post on June 2nd, and still not a single follow-up from FortuneJack regarding $JACK token withdrawals, DEX launch, or even basic clarity.

"Expect a full post later."
"DEX launch? Very soon."
— June 2, 2025

We’re now well past “soon.”
Still no updates. Still no access to our tokens. Still no transparency.

We Are Being Ignored — Again
Many of us invested our hard-earned money based on FortuneJack’s official announcements.

We trusted a platform that has been around since 2013.

We were promised utility, integration, and growth — but got silence, losses, and broken trust.

This isn’t just delay — it feels like deliberate deception.

Subject: Urgent: Community Losses Due to $JACK Token – We Deserve Answers

Hi FortuneJack,

The post you made here – https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=774929.msg64385990#msg64385990 – has led to serious financial consequences for many of us. Encouraged by the announcement, users invested heavily in the $JACK token. Today, the token holds no real value, and countless individuals, including myself, have suffered significant losses. Personally, I’ve lost around $6,000.

We feel misled, and it’s time we raise our voices collectively.

A growing number of affected users have come together to share their experiences and demand accountability. You can find our thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5545202.new#new

As a long-standing platform in the crypto community since 2013, FortuneJack has built trust over the years. Unfortunately, the launch of the $JACK token has damaged that trust due to a lack of transparency, poor communication, and apparent irresponsibility from the team. What was presented as a way to enhance the gaming experience has instead caused confusion and financial harm.

We are now calling for the following:

A clear and honest explanation from FortuneJack regarding the $JACK token, including its current status and future plans.

A transparent account of how funds and the token distribution were handled.

Consideration of a refund or compensation for the losses incurred by loyal users who acted in good faith.

This situation demands open communication and accountability. Many of us still want to believe in this platform, but trust must be rebuilt.

To all others who have been affected: please share your experiences. Our collective voice is powerful—and it’s time we use it to seek the answers and justice we deserve.

Stay strong,
A Concerned Community Member

I understand your frustration and share your concerns regarding the situation with FortuneJack and the JackToken ($JACK). As a fellow user, I've also experienced significant losses due to the sudden changes in the token's value and the lack of clear communication from the platform.

It's disheartening to see a platform that has been trusted by many in the crypto community since 2013 take actions that negatively impact its users without adequate transparency. The introduction of $JACK was presented as a means to enhance the gaming experience, but the recent developments have led to confusion and financial loss for many of us.
