Morning to everyone.

Firstly thank you to everybody in the community, we have been inundated with emails and phone calls regarding our mining hardware.

I would like to clarify and clear up a few points. We are currently waiting for our enigma 1 sample box to be returned from a customer in Europe which should be this week so we can show videos/photo's etc..

As already mentioned, we will also be posting some photo's from our local electronics manufacturer who are assembling our PCB's. Before we accepted a single order we purchased all the required components for manufacturing and our PCB's are currently being printed. Once the printing is complete the board assembly will start which means we will have something to take a picture of.

We also understand that the Bitcoin miner market has been open to a lot of scams and failed promises, I would like to reassure everybody that we are a genuine business here for the long term.

If you are unsure or weary, about placing an order with us for our first batch of Enigma 1 miners, then please feel free to wait for forum members to confirm that they have received their order first.

In the mean time if you have ANY questions, please email us at info@bitcoinultra.co.uk, alternatively you can call us on (+44) 01709242224 and one of our team will be happy to help.

After a busy day (and working late again), we have lots of good news!  Today, we have received our electronics components delivery, which means we now have everything in stock for large scale production of our miners.

Tomorrow at 16:00pm GMT, we are officially opening our orders for a limited quantity of Enigma 1 Miners, which will be dispatched on 31st March 2014. (Local customers in the UK can collect their order from our office, from Sunday 30th March onwards).

All orders placed are covered by our dispatch date guarantee, to ensure you receive your miner on time as promised!! The following week, we will be opening up for larger quantities of the Enigma 1, as well as the rest of the Enigma range.

As you may already know, our miners are based on the Coincraft A1 ASIC chip. We were targeting a power usage of 0.65 W/GH (as stated on the data sheet) but using the A1, the best we can achieve is 0.85 W/GH. We feel that given the current lack of hardware available, it is better to provide our hardware at 0.85 W/GH and for it to be readily available now, than to delay for another month or two.

We are also pleased to announce that the price of our Enigma 1 is now $3200 (£1910), which also includes an RPI controller for complete standalone operation.

On behalf of everyone at Bitcoin Ultra, Thank You for your recent interest and we look forward to becoming a big part of the Bitcoin community.

1) You're chips/components are supplied by Bitmine. How are they able to supply you while having a massive backlog of orders from individuals?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=486808.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=291141.0

2) Your domain name was registered on Feb 10th 2014. How are you already up and running less then 30 days later?
http://who.is/whois/www.bitcoinultra.co.uk

2.1) How have you been able to secure your supply chain in less then 30days of coming into existence?

3) Jenra Limited was used to register your domain. Why is the company status "dissolved"?
http://companycheck.co.uk/company/06051481

As some individuals have come to realise, most mining companies have been using our "pre-order" $ to establish a mining operation, increasing the Network Hashrate by multiple petahash/month and will only ship when they've accumulated a wealthy amount of coins. By the time the machines are ready to ship, the break even point is long and the ROI is much lower then calculated based on initial "delivery dates".

1) Bitmine have 50,000 ASIC chips sat in stock now plus we have stock ourselves, the backlog problems they have are due to PCB's and designs not the chips

2) Our domain name was registered once we had a "brand" for our miners, we actually started trading in November 2013 (Jenra Ltd)

3) That isn't our company we are Jenra Ltd registered on 28th Oct 2013 company number SC462174

Sorry for the delay with any updates we are currently working flat out:

Our VAT number is 181109625

Regarding our production etc.. we are waiting for a delivery of components to our electronics manufacturer. Once we have these components in stock we have everything ready to mass produce.

When we do start accepting orders, for the first week we will only be accepting orders for the enigma 1. This is to ensure that we don't get too swamped and can meet our dispatch deadlines, the following week we will be opening up to the rest of our range.

We are also in the process of setting up a small datacenter to offer a hosting solution for your miners which includes 24/7 monitoring and a backup UPS, this will be online an running by the end of march.

Will Bitcoinultra be added soon, or are they still being determined if legit or not?

We have arranged with Dogie to send over a sample unit so he can approve us for this list, plus put together a setup guide/review for the forum

Just to confirm regarding VAT again.

Our company is VAT registered in the UK, any orders delivered within the EU are subject to VAT at 20% which is paid during checkout. and orders delivered outside of the EU are not subject to VAT and this isn't charged during the checkout process.

As we have already mentioned the published prices aren't our final production prices, we will have our final pricing confirmed later this week which will hopefully be lower.

Alot of points to cover but I will try and answer them all.

Firsty regarding VAT, Customers whos orders are delivered outside of the EU do not have to pay VAT, customers within the EU do have to pay VAT as they will with all the other hardware suppliers. Our onlline checkout will calculate this automatically when you check out. By Friday 28th Febuary we shall have the final unit pricing which we expect to be lower than we have already published.

Regarding testing, we are now on revision 4 of our product design as stability with our miners is key. What we believe to be our final design production boards samples will be with us in the next couple of days, at that point they will be installed and running for all to see so you can keep a check on our stability yourself

Other points:

Any news or photos of your chip?

We arn't producing our own chip, are hardware is based on bitmine's CoinCraft A1

Can anyone go to see the office and their productions?

If you would like to come and visit our office give us a call or PM me on here to arrange a time and day

still waitin on my invite.

PM me to arrange a date to come and visit

hey guys,

just wanted to share that i tried to call bitcoinultra several times over a few days, but i never got someone on the phone!
i hope someone can visit them soon so we can see a proof.

Our office is open Monday to Friday 9am  to 5pm GMT please give us a call during these times

If you price in USD then you might want to state that the price is including or excluding UK VAT as you USD buyers will be able to claim it back.

At this stage the site has been published for to gauge interest in our miners, when our orders system goes live it has all the VAT information and everything we have to adhere to in the UK.

We are already VAT registered and our listed prices are inclusive of VAT. We also have an EROI number for exporting from the UK.

Just to clear up a couple of points:

Are prices are displayed in dollars online for quick price comparison but during checkout your payment will be made in GBP as we are registered in the UK

Our prices might not be the cheapest on the market (We are working hard to reduce this) but we will be delivering within 3 weeks from order not months

I can now confirm out units will be shipped without a PSU, the website will be updated to reflect this on Monday

Thanks for everyone's input regarding our new hardware. Following the input from the forum along with the emails and phone calls we have received we will be removing the power supply from our units and offer it as an option

We will be publishing all the final technical specifications hopefully at the end of this week, and by next week we will also be sending out a couple of test units to some forum members which has already been arranged.

@Dogie I have sent you a PM

er imho you should sell the unit for less  $$$ and include the option of getting it w/o the power supply (if you are compatible with standard supplies)
for shipping it also would help costs...knc did not ship power supplies w/units they said because it was an issue in some countries...ie they opened up the unit
and looked ? not sure why ...anyway it is on the KNC FAQ someplace

anyway could get your unit down in price and make it more competive imho a lot of us have no problems getting even a high end unit like
a corsair 1200i with enough notice of what is needed

anyway make it an option it will make your units more attractive in price and less hassle for you imho

Searing

Thanks for your suggestions.

At the minute we have all four units designed to fit into neat looking cases, if we went down a route of an optional power supply would people be happy with the power leads trailing out of the back (Similar to the KNC)?

We have about 10 days until we need to commit to our final case designs

I understand what you are saying, but if it makes sense has yet to be seen... :-)

Did you test these claims of 31.25Gh/s with 0.65 w/gh?
Because this would be the best performance by far achieved with the a1 chip.

Yes, we have run the A1 chips at these figures but this week we are running our 12 chip board to see if the results are the same. We are just waiting for the PCB's now so we can test the hell out of it.

If everything goes as planned with this board the next step is fully assemble everything together inside the case and ensure we worked out the correct cooling requirements

Then its time to push the big "GO" button
