It's bad enough that we are losing X11. The problem isnt multi-algo, its botnets killing your price. Just getting rid of the blake would have X11 and SHA coming back online after the botnet flooding stops. But, no, instead you choose to lock it into the rich ASIC guys and hope they even bother to look this way when you go up against the bitcoin and other SHA market evals. I don't really think you folks have thought this through. If so, I think you would have gone with X11 instead of SHA. or done something like SPR that kills the bots but still allows CPU mining. Either one would have stopped the flooding and kept the energy efficient and decentralized mining intact. What you are doing feels like overkill. For your sake and my bag, I hope I am wrong...
Hell, at this point I'd just be happy to be able to upgrade from a functioning v1.2 to v2+ without having to start over with a completely new address! What a pain! http://127.0.0.1:18000 simply isn't there... After 2 hours of dicking with this, I'm about ready to dump it all for something that is isn't actively trying to be ASIC centralized, is easy to install, and works out of the box!

Sorry mate I was running 1.0, followed the guide and effortlessly upgraded to 2.0 faster than a MS patch. Not sure why you've having so much trouble.

Scott - this is his account. He has a professional reference from someone who worked with him at Cantor and is connected to other Cantor employees.

I have worked with the same PR firms as GAW uses in previous organizations. I have had some of my work on Marketwatch and Yahoo finance as well but every time we paid for the privilege.

To be clear. I posted this information in the desire to have true honesty and transparency not because I think one way or the other. I want to ensure that people understand who has what stake in where or is involved in what capacity. This is not to pass judgement (there are lots of other people to do that).

Go ahead and be sarcastic all you want. I'm failing to see why having frequent payouts as a miner is such a pain? Having ANY service hold on to ANY btc for ANY longer than they need to is a recipe for disaster.
It's all just referral marketing shit. You take little funny surveys for FREE IPODS and FREE MACBOOK AIRS lol and then he'll pay you via CEX (although that might not actually happen) once the affiliate marketer gets paid (less than 3 per survey completed more than likely) he doesn't care. Well we gotta keep letting people know that it is still easily mined, could be profitable for GPU & CPU and currently has no ASIC on the horizon. It has good code base and relatively unknown. This is still early days but we gotta keep the thread alive and bumping first. Where is OP? We need weekly updates from dev...

I don't think any bitcoin clone could really implement an anonymity. All what I see are marketing tricks. Bitcoin protocol is just a pseudonymous. Promising the anonymity is like promising to grow up a flying cow. The only cryptonotes are designed from scratch to be anonymous. All these super nodes ideas needs even more trust in the untrusted environment than any standard transaction. My idea is to give up all the delusions. Focus at this what bitcoin fork can really have. I mean the services it was designed for.
We will release update soon, after that focus on services.
How about some sort of decentralized mixer, where outgoing transactions use coins from other nodes on the network and replaces them with funds from the sender. Blockchain would probably be immense though.
Any decentralized mixer, would still have owner, there need not standard solution.
