Bithumb Global lists a huge variety of crypto assets
When it comes to the selection of listed crypto assets, Bithumb Global certainly delivers the flexibility that’s required by altcoin fans. Most of the exchange’s trading pairs are denominated in the USDT stablecoin, although Bithumb Global also lists markets denominated in BTC and ETH.
On Bithumb Global, traders will be able to find a number of low market cap assets that aren’t listed on Binance or other leading cryptocurrency exchanges, which gives the exchange a unique proposition.
However, it’s slightly perplexing that Bithumb Global does not list certain highly popular altcoins, for example Tezos, ChainLink, VeChain and ICON. Listing these crypto assets would make Bithumb Global a much more attractive proposition for many cryptocurrency enthusiasts.

Trading interface and supported order types
Bithumb Global offers a clean trading interface, and gives users the option of selecting between a “basic” and “advanced” interface. The advanced mode features the popular charting tools from TradingView, a feature that will be welcomed by many cryptocurrency traders.
One of the only big downsides of Bithumb Global’s trading interface is that it doesn’t offer much in the way of customization. You can’t resize the various sections or hide sections that aren’t relevant to you. Users can choose between a day mode and a night mode, and both options are aesthetically pleasing.
Bithumb Global allows you to make market and limit orders. While this will suffice for the vast majority of crypto traders, we’d still like to see the exchange offer a slightly more complex and flexible set of order types.

Bithumb Global offers fiat currency support and credit/debit card purchases
Users can buy and sell cryptocurrency with fiat currency on Bithumb Global thanks to the exchange’s integrations with third-party fiat-to-crypto gateway providers.
Currently, Bithumb Global’s fiat currency feature allows users to buy almost 20 popular crypto assets with fiat. You can also sell Bitcoin and Tether USD for fiat. However, the best part about Bithumb Global’s fiat currency offering is that the platform supports a large variety of payment options:
 After you select the payment method and the amount of cryptocurrency you would like to buy, the exchange will present you with a list of offers from various fiat-to-crypto gateways. The offers are sorted by their reference price, expected time to complete the order, and the amount of crypto you can expect to receive. This is a very helpful feature and will help users find the best deal available when purchasing their crypto.

Margin trading with up to 10x leverage
Bithumb Global features margin trading for Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and Litecoin. You can access leverage of up to 10x through the margin trading feature. Margin trading is a nice touch, but do keep in mind that you’ll have to pay interest on any crypto assets you borrow to access leverage.

The Bithumb Global exchange offers leveraged tokens under the “Smart Token” brand, and offers tokens tied to the price of Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and Litecoin. At the moment, the smart tokens listed by Bithumb Global allow traders to go short on the underlying cryptocurrencies. Buying a smart token is similar to opening an unleveraged short position on the underlying coin, although traders shouldn’t expect the results to be exactly the same to going short without leverage through a futures contract.

Staking on Bithumb Global
Bithumb Global offers staking services through the “BG Staking” feature. While it is labeled as staking, it seems more akin to lending – users lock up their coins for a pre-determined amount of time, and receive additional coins in return.
Staking is not available all the time – the exchange will occasionally provide staking programs that are accessible for a limited period of time. At the time of the writing of this review, no staking program is currently active on Bithumb Global. The staking programs on Bithumb Global tend to be focused on low market cap cryptocurrencies.  

Token sales
Bithumb Global hosts token sales under the “BG Staging” banner. Before users can participate in token sales, they have to complete a know your customer (KYC) verification and participate in a lottery for the chance of getting a ticket to the token sale. So far, Bithumb Global has hosted 2 token sales in 2020.
