The MCT trading platform's best features:

• It is not a traditional exchange in that all transactions occur between the individuals.  MCT itself performs an automated escrow service to ensure that both parties in a trade can trust that the transaction will occur smoothly.  MCT is the "Trusted 3rd Party" in the trades.
• Transactions can occur between ANY two coins that MCT supports.  If you want to trade from GIN to RVN, you don't need to first convert to BTC or another "major" coin, incurring additional fees.
• MCT is targeted especially to early-life coins that are not yet on conventional full exchanges (expensive to get a coin listed).  So MCT is the best way to buy new "bleeding-edge" coins that are not otherwise available on any exchanges.  This is a BIG feature in the new and emerging altcoin world.
• The MCT project team is VERY closely connected with its community.  Coin selections (etc.) are made with input from the community.
• MCT is still in beta, but is already an extremely stable and easy-to-use platform.  There is a learning curve due to the different format from old-style exchanges, but it isn't bad.
• The MCT project has a range of new features and products that are emerging along the way that will complement the coin and the trading platform.  Stay tuned, cuz these guys are PRODUCTIVE.

There are not many coins that have come so far in delivering meaningful value to the investor in such a short time.  The trajectory is strongly upward right now, making the project a high value investment.  A month or two from now, will still be a great investment, but folks will kick themselves for not getting involved earlier.

Question about Profit Switching with "unlisted" coins...

Please someone let me know how I can do this...  If not then consider this a suggestion.

I focus my mining on new, low marketcap alt coins that often don't (yet) appear on any exchanges or WhatToMine (etc.).  These coins may not have an exchange value, but they do obviously have "value", that I can manually enter into AM.  Personally, I use a service like the new MCT trading platform to estimate a current value for new coins that are not on any exchanges yet.

Presently, I configure a user-defined coin in AM and enter the value and difficulty manually.  However, I want to use Profit Switching, which (to do well) requires UP-TO-DATE info on difficulty (etc.).  It is not practical to constantly change difficulty data like this manually.  HOWEVER, the coins usually have a block explorer API that can feed out things like Network Hash and current Difficulty.   So, while the coins' data are not listed in the conventional places that the profit switching algo checks, the necessary information IS out there and available through these APIs.

Is there some way to configure a coin to use a URL for an API to gather this data instead of WhatToMine (etc.)?  This would not only let us configure profit switching for new coins, but frankly, it would be more accurate Net Hash and Difficulty data.  I am sure that everyone has observed that the "current" difficulty data on WhatToMine lags behind current reality somewhat.  If we could use the "official" source of info from the block explorer API, we'd be able to more efficiently switch.

Can this be done in AM now?  If not, then consider this a suggestion.

I think you'll have a lot of trouble mining this with a CPU of any sort, let alone a laptop CPU.  If you don't have the ability to use GPU hardware, you might consider renting hash.  MCT is a totally worthwhile project though.  Its going places fast!
