Hm, strange. In this phase my setup just starts the tray app and once it is running continues. Maybe you can send me a screenshot of all processes that are running (preferably in process explorer's tree mode).

Did the setup show a message box (it should)?

I made a small app that makes it easy to check the current prices in $ and € from your desktop. It adds a tray icon next to your clock that you can click to see the current prices and compare them with the prices 24h, 7d and 30d ago.

I made this app for myself because I found myself checking the current value of my bitcoin 30 times a day ;-) I decided to make it public.

I wonder how many bitcoins the founders/early members set aside for themselves because bitcoins were essentially free back then. When you are the only node in the network you control the difficulty.

The screenshot looks like the program decided based on heuristics. It detected P2P activity for example. This is probably not a manual black-listing action but an automatic heuristic.

It is sometimes really intransparent what is stored exactly inside of the wallet. I wish there was a comprehensive viewer/editor for wallets.

The problem with the matter is that the value of a single infected PC has gone up now. Sending spam mails is probably much less lucrative than mining bitcoins. I think the incentive is definitely set towards mining. But that need not be a problem for the rest of us at all.
