airdrop close? no open cex24.
the developer who made us the platform for the airdrop did only run it for a week. we are working out a deal with him for a future project. if you have BTPs please hold them or put them on side or on a priv-key. Everyone with BTPs will get a compensation with our new project. This is like stated in the OP:

Once again an excellent job OSMIUMCOIN. It would be interesting to be the official logo for BitPound if the dev and community wants.

thank you for the interest in BTP. I can give you instructions on how to compile the wallet on linux. Takes you 5 minutes and you don't have to worry about viruses and stuff.
1) open terminal
2) go into desktop folder:

3) install dependcies: (you can install them in one apt-get call, but i list them all separately to give you better overview)Code:

good luck loli am sorry but airdrops like in 2014 where you could post your addr in the thread are not allowed anymore and users get banned for it. so i had to make it through a extra service. it takes you about 30 seconds on the website.
no. first of all. We did not stake with the airdrop coins except the POS test-mode (~70 POS blocks) which was necesary in live-net. Those coins are in the airdrop wallet and will also be split upon community. There were 4 transaction from the wallet. 2 tx with the developer stake (those coins are not staking too). 2 tx as bounties for wallet-compilation (from community-members) and general consulting/support as well as invested time. That is it. No other transaction. No staking for our profit.

It is not that I am fudding here or anything, it is just that 2 people found 387 blocks between them out of 460 at the time of posting. It would have been better to wait until 10pm to attempt a more fair distribution. With a 4 minute block time and diff > 800k already it is going to be difficult to fix the distribution.

no and i advise you to never, really never, launch a wallet (or any other software) from an unknown person... I will post wallets once trusted community members provide the binaries. If you need advice on how to compile the wallet on your operating system don't hesitate to contact me. we are also in IRC: #bitpound
