Re: Shift price by end of 2017.

Could someone answer my question above?  So could you buy shift at 1 cent at bittrex when it first showed up at bittrex?  Or was the price already higher?  Someone said there was no ico for shift so that means how were you able to get shift?  Was it bittrex?

And does that mean if you bought shift at 1 cent... you basically would have already 150x your coin?  Thus had you invested 100 dollars, it would be over 15000 now... 1000 dollars would be over 150000, 10000 dollars would be 1.5 million now?  Can someone confirm this?

Because if this is true, isn't buying coins that are like under 1 dollar but most importantly like under 10 cents can make you lot of money?  Thus if you find any coin that is 5 cents or less and it booms, that seem like lot of money here.

Look up Shift on coinmarketcap and then go under the historical data section where you can see the prices and volumes since the beginning for any coin.

You will find that even though a lot of coins may have started off dirt cheap, there was very low volume so you wouldn't have been able to accumulate a large position.

Coinmarketcap.com lists this as being a mineable coin but I cannot find any information on pools.  Anyone know what the story is here?

I'd like to know this as well.

It's Delegated Proof of Stake.

Did you fork the protocol from something like Bitshares or what is your code base looking like?

BPL is based off of Ark.

I will soon be receiving a sizable inheritance.  I have looked into Shift and I am wondering what the advantage of owning a bag of Shift over, say, a dump truck full of cabbage, which I am also looking into.  Thanks

Shift decentralized internet will change all world!!

Good enough for me.  Let's roll.

Hold on now, the truckload of cabbage hasn't been dismissed already has it?

I have been on these forums since 2012 and I can also vouch for ADK. I purchased a good amount of ADK a few months back and cashed out a nice chunk and I certainly did receive my BTC.

Yes the exchange is buggy and is currently down and yes there have been withdrawal delays but I can tell you this - you will get your BTC in the end!

It is obvious that the FUD comes from posters who you can't tell what is lower - their age or their IQs.

Trying to read the garbage posted by goingmobile or 12inchdickinhisass is literally like listening to someone take a dump beside you. Just do yourself a fav and put them on ignore!

This could be a huge security issue allowing users to access wallets with private key without logging in; Even though the team is trying to secure a successful token distribution with multi level verification between email and telegram the security issue lies in the fact a users machine could have key loggers, malware, or spyware.

if a machines computer is infected the url and private key is logged recording the exact website the key is used for.

being this secure you don't even have the 2fa working yet and your issuing tokens?

The solution should require user to login and implement 2fa in order to access the web wallet and tokens; this way if a hacker does have the private key at lease he can't access the web wallet without logging in.

Can you please report back on this.. If you lose your coins the team is sure not going to reimburse any token holders.

Two-factor authentication is working, but it's indeed not activated for web wallets. I will address your concern to the team and will get back to you.

According to the security team, there is no need/use to activate two-factor authentication for the wallets. The secret key should be sufficient. I suppose they can't just activate two-factor authentication on the web wallets, as it would require everyone to have a BOScoin account, even exchanges who are creating wallets on the fly.

Right; but until you release your official client where people can store their funds on other than a web wallet, the web wallet should require ALL users initially to login and set with 2fa so they can access web wallet.

Again any machine that has malware and keylogger I wish you the best..

THEY are not responsible if YOUR machine has malware. Learn some damn self accountability millennial!

Everyone contact Cryptopia and ask them nicely to take back XRB. Tell em the low class people are all gone.

LOL, low class people... cmon, without them you couldn't buy cheap XRB on the exchange cuz no long term holder will consider selling cheap even before XRB begins to uptrend.

Couldn't agree more, those "low class people" really helped in keeping the hype up for xrb, they are also the reason why upto now you can still buy the coin in a very cheap price so technically speaking without them, we couldn't collect more coins so if the price will moon and I know it is, we have them to thank.

Those low class people did not do a damn thing to advance the project. They got us kicked off Cryptopia and wasted countless hours of the dev's time while showing absolutely 0 appreciation.

They were nothing short of a cancer and I for one am overjoyed that the cancer has finally been cut out!

Re: [ANN] [ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | Bounties
by
bitsire
on 30/10/2017, 06:05:44 UTC
Comparison of circulating supply(CS) vs. total supply(TS) according to Coinmarketcap:

Wagerr - 183,000,000 CS / 198,360,471 TS = 92.26%  (200,000,000 Max supply - a little deflation already)

Edgeless - 82,046,288 CS / 132,046,997 TS = 62.13%

Peerplays - 3,817,506 CS / 5,488,410 TS = 69.56%

Dao.Casino - 109,942,758 CS / 167,270,821 TS = 65.73%

FunFair - 4,000,000,000 CS / 10,999,873,621 TS = 36.36%

The numbers kinda speak for themselves, and much more wgr will get burned once the real betting starts  Grin

Good comparison

Don't forget that those others are all ERC20 shittokens so Wagerr really has no competitors. As if the ETH network is going to actually host all these sportsbooks one day LMFAO

Seems like Substratum is a competitor with an ambitious plan to launch by Q1 2018....
Yes, that's a major concern of mine too. Whoever is first out the gate with a credible network (that works well and has no bad press) is likely to steal the other's thunder. My worry is that it would be tragic for the SAFE project if Substratum beat them to it. Tragic too, though, for all of us, early investors in MaidSafe tokens, because clearly the price could suffer badly if MaidSafe is last out the gate and thereby might be perceived as copying Substratum (which clearly isn't the case). I also worry that there are at least two more Alpha's to release (#3 and #4), which was news to me this week, before there's even a hint of a beta release. Worrying. I do understand, though, that Rome wasn't built in a day but Substratum's published road map/timing is troubling (it seems fast!).

Not only Substratum, there is also Blockstack which looks very similar and Shift which will be using IPFS  Cry

Before the end of 2018 there will be thousands coins like XBY, so the answer is: it's a long shot

Not thousands, not even hundreds. There might be a handful of similar coins but they won't be nearly as far long in development.

Does anyone know of a website that tracks airdrops for you? Something like all those ICO list web sites except for airdrops.
