What idiots are going first here. Don't see why they wouldn't use an escrow. The flashy text makes no difference. Not accusing you but you literally have nothing to loose if someone sends your BTC for a $500 Amazon Giftcards.
I sent first just to verify for future reference if he is trust worthy
I definitely would not have risked those amounts like the other guys...well at least they're getting their stuff!

[S] 2 antminer S1's for sale - un-used
by

on 18/06/2014, 04:03:46 UTC
Hello I have two antminer S1's I would like to sell
.225BTC each is my price with an escrow I'll drop it without one to around .175BTC since it is quicker to ship and makes it a hell of a lot easier for me

I'll ship within 24 hours of payment and I've already sold 1, I used to have 3

I'm located in Cali, so shipping shouldn't take to long for anyone around me

If you are quick and buy today you should get it by Friday!

I'll ship for free as right now for me they're a waste of space

PM if you're interested

Thanks

I'll try out a prepaid visa, sending you a PM
If this goes well I'll post.
Thanks
Sent an email to the address provided!

Pretty pleased with the speed of service...I sent first and in a minute or two got my card via email. Just renewed my HMA subscription with the plastic card I bought, thanks! I'll buy again soon

So
1/ How does a site make $120 in ONE WEEK yet receive not enough traffic to register even at alexia never mind others I have looked at.
2/ If you were making $120 per week, why the hell would you update the name servers to point at GD where you earn nothing per week ?
3/ To quote you "I've put a lot of hard work into PR work and SEO" your page rank is 0 (Zero) and again if you have put all this hard work in why point it to GD where you lose all the seo etc.

The OP is probably lying.  Those domains aren't worth anything.   Undecided

Oh I agree Vod and as this is my field I was just making sure others know this as well.

And @ OP "Lying? Go and see for yourself the page rank, if you really want, get an SEO specialist to check it out yourself "

I did last night and the result was as I thought :

Google PageRank for
aboutaeroplanes.com: 0/10

Cheers
Mark

I've done no work on the domain since the first months of registration
Do some proper research, look at he positives and not your flaws

Your argument makes no sense
You can't sell these domains in a split second on an exchange but THEY CAN BE SOLD and they HAVE VALUE
If someone is using mining hardware as collateral, you can't sell that in a split second can you, but yes I've seen it used as a collateral

I understand your point but this is all I currently have for a loan like this

I've told you how things work, the rest is up to you.

Well, that's all I have to offer
Sorry

If it was that easy to get $110 worth of altcoins I would have done so by now
As weeks and months go by hosting and server bills need to be paid
I'm looking for a short loan to get my site up and running and then paying back within a day or two and domains used as collateral
I don't see any "no value" in the nor do I see any risk

Domain about aeroplanes can go on Flippa alone for at least $50

Me neither, domains are not collateral. No collateral -> no loan.

Tell me, why should I accept something that I cannot sell in a split second to get my money back? Who is paying the hassle of selling a domain? The borrower in default maybe? Please... we want 0% risk and 0% hassle.

It is easy as pie, sign up to an exchange and buy your altcoins. It is the only way to get a loan here and they will be very useful to you in the long run.

Lying? Go and see for yourself the page rank, if you really want, get an SEO specialist to check it out yourself

Why bother? We can just deny the loan and wait for you to get altcoins, eventually.

ALSO like I said I am using these domains so if I default on this loan, I lose the project I working on.

Who cares? We want 0% risk on our money, what you do with it is your own business whose risk we do not want to partake.

Just get true collateral.

Im not having a go at you, im just making sure others understand there is always two sides to this kind of thing.

I suspect the person that picks up this loan wont even know what seo is let alone how to do it and get the best out of it.

And whilst as you say the domain may be unique so is this one "about topless babes" which by the way you can buy from 123-reg if you so wish :
https://www.123-reg.co.uk/order/domain?X-CSRF-Token=1014ca90dcb87e5b26c961c95ea4f83befafe1b2&domain=abouttoplessbabes&ajax_enabled=true

What you may value as good others wont, me i would rather have the babes one, it has a far more marketable audience.

But I wish you luck in your quest for 0.2 BTC I just cant see the value in your collateral ..Sorry

Cheers
Mark

$120 in one week from Adsense off of that domain
Enough to cover the loan all you need is to know how to make a blog about aeroplanes.

I deal in domains and IMO those domains are not worth the amount you seem to think they are, GD values are always ridiculously high.

I think you need to halve your value, and if you default the guy that ends up with them, will have his work cut out trying to off load them, and what about expiry dates, something else the possible new owner needs to take into account, if a few run out in 1-2 mth's time then they are worthless, as it would take longer than that to sell them, plus who wants to buy a domain with only a mth or so to go ?

No my friend I dont think your collateral is enough for your requested loan amount.

Cheers
Mark
About aeroplanes is a one of a kind domain with a potential of thousands in monthly revenue if setup correctly
It's worth way more than the GD price as I've put a lot of hard work into PR work and SEO

It is definitely worth it, if not worth more.

Also expires 2017

Domains included for escrow:
aboutaeroplanes.com - $9.99 .com value according to godaddy value - PR WORKED ON, old aeroplane blog
aboutmteverest.com - $9.99 .com value according to godaddy value - potential ad revenue
aflweekly.com - $9.99 .com value according to godaddy value
auroracleaningservices.co.uk - $11.99 .co.uk value according to godaddy value
bit-investors.com - $9.99 .com value according to godaddy value
ego-t.co.uk - $11.99 .co.uk value according to godaddy value (5 char)
glendalewindows.co.uk - $11.99 .co.uk value according to godaddy value
joshiestaes.co.uk - $11.99 .co.uk value according to godaddy value
kiryanngopigfarms.com - $9.99 .com value according to godaddy value
lalasalamaltd.co.uk - $11.99 .co.uk value according to godaddy value
onlinemobileshop.in - $9.99 .in value according to godaddy
vegeterianrecipedideas.in - $9.99 .in value according to godaddy

Total value: $141.88
Loan value: around $114 (0.2BTC)

Can you sell these domains for the decribed value quickly and easily? If yes, how and where?
If not, that isn't collateral.

Yes, you can
I would but I am using these domains therefor I can't
That is why I'm using them as a collateral
Also it would be easier selling for cash, it's harder with BTC but of course these are extremely easy to sell

Well technically, a domain transfer can not be reverted by the person to which it belonged prior the transfer.
For more info : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_name_registrar#Domain_name_transfer

Can you please list the domains that you are willing to transfer as a collateral ?
Isn't it easy to get these accounts back using social engineering?  I'm not sure if this would be a suitable collateral. Roll Eyes

This is why I am offering direct transfer to the escrow
Domains cannot be recovered once they are transferred according to GoDaddy's TOS Smiley
They are just like bitcoins!

I personally have lost domains, and godaddy cannot do anything about it EVEN if they were stolen which sadly in my case they were...but, life goes on

Moral of the story, domains transfers are irreversible

As for second post, I'm on mobile right now but within 24 hours I'll update the original post for you all

[LOAN] 0.2BTC - Development funds - collateral included
by

Keeping this short and simple

Escrow: for domains yes
Amount: 0.2BTC
Interest rate: Make an offer
Duration: Expected repayment is less than a few days, but to be safe I'll make it a maximum of one week
Collateral: godaddy account with 20~ Domains, two of which are premium but I won't count the prices on those
Standard domain (.com) is $10 I'm quite sure totalling to $200 worth of domains, I'll transfer the not-in-use domains to the escrow

Procedure is I'll have to transfer the domains to escrow, once confirmed receipt coins are sent
After one week and loans are not paid, escrow is more than welcome to send over domains to the lender, you may sell these domains (some are pretty high PR) and get the money back.

The purpose of the loan is for development costs on one of these domains, so I guarantee the return but of course collateral is always necessary for lenders sake.

If you would like a list of domains or proof of ownership, PM me.

Thank you!

I have majority of my bitcoins invested in local loans
Usually the Australian loans payout (experiences of mine) as well as Italian and German ones
Defaulted loans usually from USA and Canada...as well as late payments from Israel

Hopefully this site gets bigger than btcjam, I've not once made a profit there
