Like the decentralized aspect...Good to see project progress and initial releases...looking forward to the trading portal..
We got the information today that the trading portal is technically ready. But our main core developer isn't available for a few days, so the launch will happen once he's back next week. This makes total sense... there's nothing worse as a developer than to release something and not being able to react if there are any unforeseen bugs.
yep...agree

Re: How Sure Are You That You Invested In A Right New Coin?

Majority of the new coins are always a risk. Most of them fail during the initial phases itself and in the long we don't see most of them follow the roadmap in completing the projects. So its not easy to invest in a new coin as its a big gamble to find the right one.

When an innovation happens like blockchain (bitcoin) and other projects tend to follow a successful model so, its very difficult to imagine not having other crypto's being bitcoin on the helm.

Current market is a bit still volatile. Until bitcoin settles at a price and then the established altcoins may follow the suit.

Here are Some points -
- What is the purpose of the altcoin? Is it developed for real time use? - Read the project roadmap and its deliverables - Check whether the coin has a community - Look at the trading patters of the coins to know how it performs over the period - See whether the coin is decentralized
Converting crypto to fiat is allowed only in certain countries. Sites like coinbase, kraken, bitstamp, cex etc allows crypto fiat conversions. You may use localbitcoins too...

Re: Is BNB the Next Bitcoin?

BNB is basically created as an exchange coin and as the exchange does well, it reflects on the price of BNB coin but is it going to replace bitcoin? Very difficult and only time will tell whats going to happen...
With NovaExchange going out of business recenty, FreiExchange seems to be the last place to trade ORB. Seems a good one though.
Will check that exchange but having only one and that too a new exchange for a very old coin doesn't look better. Hope the coin would get on to some other exchanges in the near future....

Big players getting into crypto is a positive sign for its future. Time will tell whether which crypto currency is going to survive in the long run but more awareness as the coverage gets wider.
Looks like Clam wallet is back online at polo (as the maintenance message doesn't appear on trading page)...anybody able to deposit or withdraw from it?

Though the coin still works flawlessly, are there any new developments planned for future? Any good exchanges that orbit is currently listed and safe to trade?
This is awesome. Good to see new wallet release. OKCash has been a nice wallet running for years without any issues for me. Great to see things are falling back in place.

There are some of the sites which are already doing some of the banking features like lending, paying interest on the amounts deposited. So, are they going to work like a full fledged banks ? Currently not but future nobody knows.

Though there are sea of coins in crypto world, only some of them are legit and having working devs with continued development activity. Keeping those coins for long term would be good.

Not talking of a specific coin but centralized exchanges works in a way what works better for them to list/de-list a coin.
