Perfect.

It is perfectly! Or do you think that this is bad ??
----

nice thing
can you tell me how to mint these coins?
i have a million of them do you think its profitable with a million?

POS rate is 5% per year. So, you'll get 50 000 MINT every year from 1 000 000 MINT.

You'll get coins every 20 days. If you have one million, it means about 2740 MINT every 20 days.

The problem I see is: we need to get data from each other. But at this time, a lot of us needing data and very few of us has data to give. There are two ways to get pass this status:  (1) keep the MINT price stable so people with recent data (and with static IP) will start their wallet again.  (2) Just hang in there and soldier on. As the ratio of synced wallet to "empty" wallet go up, situation will improve.

Judging from the block age variation shown at FRQ faucet (see above),  I think a few people are solo mining this coin.

With the relaunch of cash coming up soon what about a change of name for cash.

In the early days of the Chinese dynasties the common store of value was cash coins, the name qian means cash or money in Chinese
if we change the name from “cash” to “qian” with the marker “chc” it might help us tap in to the emerging Asian and Chinese markets

These  colours  have great meaning in china, Red, Green and Yellow are considered to be lucky.
Red also represents happiness, success and good fortune.
Green symbolizes money .

Glavos if you could may be have ago at a logo with these colours , with the symbol for  “qian”  in a centre square

cheers

Qian is a good idea. but changing Cash into Qian might not be one.  Why not just launch a new Qian Coin? you can use the same algo as Cash if you like.

If forking, what happens to the CASH coin already in people's wallet today?

Nothing changes, you'd still keep it all.

E3A.
Think about when the roads are upgraded or repaired, your car remains the same, it just runs smoother on the new road.

Do I get new tags (registration sticker) for me "car"?

If nothing need to happen, then after your fork, I (or a few of us) can keep running the old software and keep mining with the old pool.  I would probably get CASH very fast because most of you guys will have left. Can I spend the new CASH and the old CASH the same way.

There has to be some  mechanism to switch over. Or will the new forked network automatically reject new CASH mined the old way (by looking at timestamp)?

I was meant to have been given admin for the new FB page (even set up an account for it), but it never happened.

If/when forking the chain, we just need to get the exchanges and pools on board (and let as many folks as possible know ahead of time), it'll make the current chain obsolete, no point mining on a chain that's not recognised by the exchanges.

The problem with public polls is they can be abused and allows idiots/trolls to vote which skews the results. Tried it before on another coin and it got screwed up taking the coin in a bad direction.

It's times like this, I wish Google Wave hadn't been shut-down or the open sourcing of it had gone better.

If forking, what happens to the CASH coin already in people's wallet today?

What is the minimal number of miners that can keep a coin alive?

I'm curious about this (for any coin). In general, the trend for alt coins is the price keeps dropping. At some point, most people will stop mining a particular coin.  If there is only one miner left, then no one will be verifying his finds. Can two miners verify each other and keep the coin going?  I think different coins have different requirements on how many verification is needed. But can the one miner repeatedly verify the same transaction and count as multiple verification?

Just checked, and they are pretty even, no idea other than crazy good luck for Anon.
I did run my rigs on n50 and I did find a number of blocks and got the expected payouts I had worked out I should get last week, but the RTD from Australia was killing my effeciency, so have stopped mining cash at the moment.
Wish mine big would sort themselves out.

But the good luck is pretty consistent. Before moving to N50, I mined a while on Minebig.  My workers generated 9552 Cash but I only got paid about 800. I suspect there are some bugs in the reward calculation:

Forget using voting to get onto Mintpal.
Besides the fact you would need to pay over 20BTC to get it to the top they have stopped paid votes in the last day or so (A good thing in my mind) and at the end of September they are going to remove voting altogether.

On a different note if anyone is mining Cash via Mine Big you may want to shift your rigs as it has been having problems for the last couple of days.

N50 cash pool is still going though so you may want to swap to that.

I won't like...I'm still mining it a bit and dumping them.  I really liked this coin.  Shame dev disappeared.

the devs simply disappear from time to time, for example nobody has seen LTC dev for a lot of months

solo mining FRQ still works very well.

Seems like there's a q2c pump due to the new news from the dev. Might go above 150 sats now.

What news?

Can someone post a couple of good node address?

I see there are still miners at https://cpu-pool.net/qubit/. so people are still interested.  However, my wallet has  been unable to get connections recently. There must be others having the same problem. I think it is a good thing to help us stay around to keep the network going.  Maybe if we stay long enough, something big will happen.

Thanks
