Re: BrainWallets ? Are they dead ? Is there any replacement to them ?
by

Why do you say that the idea is dead? You can still use brainwallets with bitcoin and many other coins that use pass phrases or sets of words as recovery options for users.

Re: STRATEGY??

The best strategy now is to hodl what you have, since price is too low to sell, and don´t get into new ventures unless you see a clearly promising ICO like Trusted Cars.

It used to be no more than a month, but now there are projects that have taken up to 5 or six months. It is of course absolutely ridiculous. The bounties are a service and yes, you have to pay for it.

Re: Crypto is under threat of Quantum computers
by

There is no real threat, once quantum computing goes out of the labs we will assess it´s real power, but meanwhile it is not even clear that it is a threat. Anyway, there is a QRL coin.

It all had the looks of a fishy operation and I am surprised that is not an even worse scam than just a "name change", I just don´t know how people so easily give KYC

Oh, that is really a question of your objectives. If you are trying to get rich quick, you will have to bet all you got and ... pray if you believe in any god. Anyway, that is not for newbies.

You are supposed to learn from your mistakes and don´t stake more than you can afford to loose. Just wait for a while anyway, the market will not be always this bad.

Re: what to trust now?
by

There are simply too many exchanges nowadays. The only projects worth inveting are those that are addressing high volumen specific niches, such as NEOX or Spotcoin.

Re: Why Crypto Communities are so Important?
by
bituperio
on 26/10/2018, 19:09:17 UTC
The communities are important for certain types of projects, however they are absolutely irrelevant for coins that are looking for a chance in the corporate markets and industrial services.

I cant seriously take into account other people´s advice, if they know so much why would they care to share it? The best traders are busy doing exactly that: trading.

Re: Difference between Bounty campaigns and airdrop?
by

on 26/10/2018, 19:07:13 UTC
A real airdrop is just a community effort that requires nothing or very little action on your side. Purely, it will just be sending tokens to addresses with certain amount of ether or any other.

Re: The Need to Be Careful with ICOs
by
bituperio
on 19/10/2018, 12:30:19 UTC
You always have to be careful with crypto, not only with ICOs but also with coins that are already on the market, many times they are used for pump and dumps and similar operations.

Oh, there are many ways, sometimes the team is well know in the space and there is some natural growth, other times it takes a long campaign and good work from marketing.

The case o aTriz has been commented in some posts and even in telegram. The others may very well be simply spending some time in sunny beaches spending their crypto. I hope.

by

The good thing about monero is that it has been around for quite a while at it seems that it is working. Other such as Verge or ZCash have protocols that are in theory weaker, less private.

Re: What is Ripple Protocol?
by

I think that Ripple can be technically good, however I am not in crypto to devolve the power to the banks and then to have to keep trusting them to do the right thing, which they don´t.

BCH is basing any value in adoption meanwhile bitcoin is basing it in hold. At the moment it seems that BTC is making a better move, so you may want to follow it instead of waiting.

That´s a good sign, not as much as for being a woman, which I think does not matter, as for the positive effect that these news have in the crypto market, attracting users.

Re: Token Structure Survey for an ICO - be involved in the real ICO decisions
by

What you probably need is to make a good study of the ICOs that have succeeded instead of asking in the forum. People in here don´t have a stake in your business and won´t care much.

Re: Currencies have negative effects

Everything has negative effects... currencies are no exception. They can get people broke and make you loose a lot of money, but they can also make you rich if you learn enough.
