Do you have a separate install directory for each instance?

i have problem (as always)

I decided to mix gpus

6x amd + 8x nvidia

I plug 6x RX570  + 4x1050ti (10gpus)

all works fine without problems (z270-p asus + pci-e multiplier)

when I add 11th GPU after start claymore its freeze (PC works fine, just claymore freeze, if i try to close it then entire PC will freeze)

so
i tried to open 2x claymore and use command -platform 1 for amd and -platform 2 for nvidia, but only one can work (first claymore works ok, but when I run second claymore i am getting (cannot create DAG error/gpu failed etc

of course i have to use -mport 0 command bcoz without it i got sever10048 error

Everything you seek is in the first post of this thread for the most part, don't be lazy.  At least try and we can help you if it doesn't work.

Hello fellow miners,

I have a question for the more experienced ones:
Can you give me a complete setup example for Claymore from those who only use Claymore setup and no other programs?
This would be for a rig with multiple AMD cards from different manufacturers. I am running Win 10 FCU, latest AMD drivers, and MSI AB for fan control.

What I want to set-up is individual OC and voltage for each card like:
1st card GPU 1140MHz, GPU voltage 950, Mem 2019MHz, Mem voltage 950
2nd card GPU 1140MHz, GPU voltage 950, Mem 2119MHz, Mem voltage 950
and so on

How should this look like and will it work with MSI AB for fan control?

Thanks

PS. Ursule..? Smiley

I just updated my drivers to 17.11.2 and added my ninth and tenth 570s but it is not recognizing them.  Is the FCU required for cards over 8?  For some reason the FCU won't install for me.  Thanks!

I have a vent hood with 400 cfm of flow over my 12 card rig, planning on piping it into the return on my furnace.  Hopefully the humidity will be ok with the whole house humidifier.

Agreed, I run 8 AMD and 3 Nvidia in one instance fine
Hello everyone, I'm having problems setting up a 12 GPU mining rig (6 AMD RX570 + 6 NVIDIA 1060) with Windows 10.

Is there anyone available for some guidance?
I'd be happy to collaborate with some ether as soon as I get paid.

Two instances of Claymore

One .bat file would include "-platform 1" and the other would include "-platform 2" right?

yep this is one of the ways to do that. also you can improve on that and create several config files and give .exe a single param - name of your config file...
but why? I mean why would you want to run two instances?
I have various setups with 12 cards running with no issues from a single instance (it's also easier to manage one miner instead of 2)

Hey all, my main rig is running win10(not fcu), AMD blockchain drivers, and claymore 10.0.  It has 8 570/580s and 3 1070s but I would like to add 2 new 570s.  Which combo of versions is stable right now?  I currently use claymore to set speeds and voltages and want to make sure the new AMD driver will still allow me to do so.  Thanks

Just want to be sure before upgrading drivers because I have to disconnect all my flashed 570s to do driver updates for some reason or the install crashes.

Use a vpn and don't expose that port to the internet.

Recently, I was hacked using a bruteforce attack.

Somehow, someone found my ddns, my remote management port (it's not the default one) and he was able to bruteforce the password until he succeeded. The hacker was able to upload a epools dpools and custom config.txt file and restart the miner. A couple of minutes after, I noticed the hack and quickly erased those files because I don't use any of them and I've also disabled the remote management feature.
@Claymore, are there any anti-bruteforce measures implemented on your miner? If not, consider adding something like a lockdown after "x" invalid login attempts.
Also, it's possible to flood the miner if you start refreshing the rig stats too often. You can send http requests as many times as you want and that creates an overflow of refreshes on the miner stats. It's basically a DoS attack. It floods the log file, uses CPU time on the miner and some bandwidth. Consider adding an http login feature so that you can't check your miner's stats on your browser without the correct user/password combo.

Thanks Wink

Try specifying it for each card like -cclock 1050,1050,1050,etc for all settings.

Guys,

When i set this ... only my first GC applies to it.... other GC are still standard setting... anything I am doing wrong?

-esm 0
-asm 1
-etha 0
-estale 0
-mode 1
-dcri 30
-retrydelay 2
-tt 70
-tstop 80
-fanmax 85
-fanmin 15
-cclock 1050
-mclock 1850
-cvddc 900
-mvddc 900
-platform 1

Does anyone else get hosed when trying to update the AMD drivers on machines with multiple bios flashed 570?   The driver update doesn't finish, screen just keeps flashing every 5 seconds.  I end up having to disconnect all 570s(I leave 580s) before I do the update then add them back in one at a time between reboots after using the driver patch.  It does this regardless or whether I DDU or not.

confirmed the wind 10 64 bit new drivers work for 10+ cards

I have a 10 GPU rig running now, what I did find is uninstalling afterburner first helps

also with so many GPU it would also sometimes hang on when u run claymore, I fixed this by using -gser 2 option

It still hangs when i try and dual mine so I need to do more tweaking.

ALso AMD settings and MSI after burner do not play nice togther, I decided to roll with wattman since I cannot set the voltages on this mortherboard

the ASUS 16 Slot one with MSI AB
Which GPU that you use on your rig?
pure AMD GPU  or mix with nvidia?

No all Rx570 and 470 mix , no nividia cards

Are you saying actually that you're running 10 AMD cards on WinX with "amd latest driver" - is this correct?
And if so what rates are you getting on ethash with this driver?

12 cards actually, just added two more this AM. and Yes thats correct.
hash rates are the same as block chain driver, the kicker is my systems are way more stable with this new driver

I had one rig of six R9 nano I upgraded to this new driver with modded evilop bios that used to crash one a day, its been two days with the new driver and its rock solid.

I also have not yet seen the issue i had before with the robin hood and beta blockchain driver where I would see hashrate of 8.33 or some crap sometimes, but its still
early.

Only issue with the new drivers is they can be hard to install, sometimes taking multiple DDU cleanings to install, and I HAD to remoVE AB.

I might install it back , becase wattman is crap

that's interesting. is that a win update, or just driver? you should try to use overdriventool for clocks and volts, it's better then claymore - as you can set proper stages as well.
also AB is known to have nasty issues

not sure I follow you...please indicate the rates that you are getting from rx570 on ethereum with latest(version?) driver?

just tested some of the latest "crimson-relive-17.10.2-oct23"
and it doesnt not have the dag fix, so no matter if it supports over 8 cards (it also works better with the volts from overdriventool ...) but 23MH on ETH vs 30MH on 17.7.2 or whatever the ver number of blockchain drv...

Did you change the workload setting in AMD settings?  I updated my 2 GPU rig and didn't lose any speed.  Probably upgrading my 5 and 11 GPU rigs sometime this weekend.

I'm now getting paid more often, stale shares did not increase much.

Then why did the payout time on ethermine reduce by ~25% or so ?  I get .05 shares every 15 hours instead of the 20 before the fork.

It's the result of Byz fork. Block time 30s -> 14s and block rewards 5ETH -> 3ETH.
It made 15%-20% increase in ethereum mining profit.

There is no increase in profit at all, you are blind to the truth.

too many reasons for this, did you check your stale shares?

12 GPU in one rig ?

v.10 sets correct clocks and voltage for wattman with the last two non-blockchain (drivers 2017.10.20 and the one from september), but then it throttles down upon full startup to 40% less GPU clock while keeping specified voltage values. Then upon exit, I can see in wattman the system maintains the correct OC values specified upon miner startup that the miner itself did not use.

All test were done by using all four specs for GPU and mem clocks+voltages due to mixed results in OCing without increased voltages being specified as noted in thread.

I have had no success in running stable the blockchain driver with and without any OC. The miner does start, I do see a north of ETH 5Mhs increases, but then it freezes my system. I've had very low li/lidag/ethi/dcri values with that driver and still the system keeps on crashing. Vega64 under windows obviously.

Thanks for all the great work, miner looks sweet!
I am using the Robin Hood drivers + Claymore 10 + Windows 7 on a mix GPU RIG - Rig consists of 4 cards
MSI ARMOR RX 570 4GB     cclock 1175 mclock 2100 cvddc 900 mvddc 900   30.1Eth 67.0LBR         Dcri 20
GiG Aurora  RX 580 4GB     cclock 1275 mclock 2050 cvddc 950 mvddc 900   29.9Eth 67.5LBR         Dcri 20
Asus Rog     RX 560 4GB    cclock 1175 mclock 1950 cvddc 850 mvddc 900    13.7Eth 34.0LBR         Dcri 20
MSI         GTX 1060 3GB    OC'd in MSI AB   PM 70   Core +125 Mem+ 900    23.5Eth 21.0LBR         Dcri 28

I switched this rig over to the Robinhood drivers from basic drivers 3 weeks ago as I wanted to switch  back to Ethereum from Music coin for a while. Since the switch 3 weeks ago I had to restart once due to the GTX 1060 freezing the system after a few days with mem set to +950.
At the wall on the meter the system is pulling a total of 595 watts dual mining.

Note: When I start up claymore for the first time, I wait till I see the first set of hash rates then I close claymore and rerun Claymore to get the proper hashrates. The very first instance of Claymore both my 570 and 580 will report 19mh Eth but closing and reopening Claymore corrects this.
Sorry guys I can't read the whole thread but I hope you are all aware of amd new drivers... 12+ Gpu's much more stable now

So now that it has soaked a couple days, I am definitely seeing a payout increase since the fork.  For the most part it seems equivalent to rolling back to early Sept before the Sept 22 difficulty increase.
