In such a bearish market, are you making your trading moves by technical analysis or just follow your heart and believe some coin will start to bounce back hardly or something else?
Actually you can try to trade on bearish market using indicators with small allocation, cause now market is high volatile and if you know how to use it with some indicators like MACD, Stoch RSI etc. you can get very good profits, while others waiting for the market bounce.

I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.
Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.
So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?
I have presented my theory, but what do you think?

Definitely. Monero is one of top coins, and I think those things like mass usage in darknet or illegal js mining only increasing its value.

I prefer to trade for a mid-term. Looking for some coins in top 100 that are in dip now, checking coinmarketcal for upcoming events, and buy it and hold for 1-2 weeks.Thanks

It's really hard to figure out now which ICO/airdrop is legit and not get scamed. Try to check their Twitter, Telegram group, quickly go through whitepaper, and I think you will get if this project is good or not.
I love the way crypto can connect people from a different culture.

Actually, I'm think that the main part of this forum joined crypto only for money. But on the other hand all those people are like the idea of crypto and blockchain technology itself, cause they are only the owners of their assets. There are no restrictions to buy/sell it anytime, transactions are faster and fees are lower than using regular banks.

The best practice is to keep only those funds on exchange that you want to day trade or hold on mid term. For other assets and long term investments is better to use cold wallets.

I just heard some of my friends chatting in a gathering and they think Bitcoin is scam and Ponzi. I just give them a smile and wish they will educate themselves a bit.

I noticed that only those people who dont know about crypto or tech at all, they are all claiming that this is a ponzi scheme or a new bubble of this century. Hope we will be laughing on them in the next 3-5 years.

I think all bitcoin forks will gain their value after a while. We all know what happened with Bitcoin Cash. But the project and the team should be good enough to get peoples attention.
Let be real. How many of you guys actually read the whitepaper? I read whitepaper sometimes, but reading multiple of them can be a burden and a headache. Do you guys got any tips on getting through whitepaper a little faster. It killing a lot of time. Thank.
Only if the project is very promising. I dont read whitepapers of airdropped coins with no value, and while daytrading, cause this is not necessary.

Not sure about bitcoin future, but it will be always the first and even if it lost it's popularity, I think many people will hold it for collection. I guess this is just the begging of crypto and blockchain technology itself, and we should see a lot of new promising projects in the next years that could change current direction of crypto.

Actually only on major airdrops. As usual all new coins got no value, so I'd better spend this time on trading.
95% of this forum. One of the top wallet for ethereum and erc tokens.
I think the best strategy is to split this amount into two parts for example 3,5 and 1,5. Buy 7-10 different alts from top 100 on 3,5 and 1,5 keep for promising ICO (~200-300$ on each). My favorite alts is ETH, ETC, NEO and LSK. They are all very stable and promising coins and the main advance is that they got own blockchain that allows other apps use it, and I think we will see a lot of more new projects in the next years based on those blockchains.
Binance is down for 12 hours according to twitter for system upgrade.

If they got problems with servers or databases its better to dont spread panic through all users. Just imagine what will be if it was announced publicly. The most of them will want to withdrawal to another exchanges. This might cause more problems than now. Just be more patient.
The market certainly recovered nicely but the truth is that, its fundamental analysis that works more in this market than technical analysis. Thats why I only invest in coins with good use case
That's true, but even after big news announced, FUD won't let the coin grow.
