My story... not so dramatic but still...

Mined dogecoins, got some small amount like 0.1 or 0.2 btc.

Traded them for maidsafecoins (bought then like 7000 of them)... they were on masterxchange... After I saw price dropping I just left them there... didn't even want to make an account somewhere to send them there...
Now they are like 0,34$ each... so that was my regret, for being lazy

I'm mining SIA atm, don't have a whole lot of SIA, but hoping it's a long term hold

I'm just brainstorming, because some crypto is backed by let's say gold (xaurum)... why not backing new crypto with some reliable crypto let's say BTC, LTC,...

I get it, I don't want to do that.

But just asking, do you just pay 1 wave or so to create tokens, or can you back it up with let's say 100k waves?

Can this be done, that tokens are backed by waves or is this already done?

Like you put 100k waves into a token and create let's say 1million tokens. And that 1 million tokens could be exchanged any time for 100k waves (so 1 token to 10 waves) - and price of tokens would be relative to waves price also.

Is that possible or not?

Imho you have 2 choices.

1. you are either a day trader and try to ride with whales

2. investing long term - holding the coins/projects you believe in

We need coins with tech backing them, otherwise we will just be speculating and not investing

Is it like 50/50 or more like 90/10?

So if btc value rises against dollar value, do altcoins rise with that value as well? Or are they less dependant on BTC and more on their own value?
