Re: Is a million dollars possible?
by
blazingshockwave
on 28/04/2018, 10:46:19 UTC
If one were to buy and hold solid  avaerge coins (not a coin that kicks out and gets 10000% gain), but rather a nice steady gain like eth, Ltc etc (top 20) and starts with 10k, is it possible to reach a million without trading and buying/selling at highs and lows? If so, how long would you predict it would take? Or are most coins not going to last long term, so every 6 months would I have to rebalance with newer coins?
If you buy 10k with a stable coin today it is hard to get 1Million because the price is already high and it is already hard to pump. It is only possible if you wait for around 10-20 years from now. The only choice you have is to find a good coin that could become Ethereum and Litecoin.

I want to make my own Hardware wallet
Where would I begin? what goes into the software? I feel like finding the hardware would be the easy part.
Not everyone can make their own hardware wallet, you have to be very knowledgeable in hardware and software. You also need to be a security experts to avoid any loss of your coins.

Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign
by
blazingshockwave
on 27/04/2018, 09:44:25 UTC
What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?
This kind of action is unacceptable and should have a red trust that is given by  the DT. It is a clear fraud because they know if they announce it in the beginning of the campaign, and there will be no participants that will join their campaign.

What is happening?! What a calm before the storm. What about the crypto market? It slowly but surely creeps up and I don't know what to do, sell or buy?
I suggest that you hold first if you still don't know what to do. Make a research, read the news and update yourself on what is happening in the market. It is your responsibility to take charge of your own investment.

Re: Any chance to pump eth value?

I am holding some eth to sell. But the eth price is still very low compare to my expectation price. Is there any chance to increase the price of eth. Please share your opinions which will be highly appreciated. Smiley
There is a chance for Ethereum to increase its price but since there is a hacked that happen in MyEtherWallet it will take some time before it pumps again. Currently it is now dumping and the support are trying their best to fight the dumpers.

Re: Is there still future for digital currency?
by

on 25/04/2018, 06:13:27 UTC
As of now the price of each coin is very unstable, and the price of it just keeps going down. Ive seen a coin last year, that the price of each coin goes rapidly high. Its opposite as of now, almost below expected. Is this the end for the digital currency?
Everything has an end. But you shouldn't worry about it because I am sure you won't see it because we are all dead by that time. Cryptocurrency is the new evolution of money. Today is just a beginning of a new era in financial industry. It will kast for more than a hundred years like like fiat money, gold and silver.

Re: is buying new listed coin profitable?
by
blazingshockwave
on 24/04/2018, 18:21:23 UTC
Good Day guys, just searching for an alternative way to invest my money to,
so the question is, is buying new listed token(token that just ended ICO) to an exchange profitable? do many of you do that? would you recommend doing that? or should I buy on their ICOs?
I suggest that you buy in trading platform after the big dump because the trend in ICO now is they pump it after they are listed in a trading platform and suddenly dump the ICO because of greedy investors that bought with a big bonus during presale.

It seems to be a new era for crypto market again. The percentage growth rate of most coins is increasing. For instance, Bitcoin Cash has risen over 80% in the last
week.
It is a good event to recover all our loses. Just make sure you get out before the market turns red again. This time we need to be vigilant on what is happening in the market to avoid loses that happened before.

I'm also support regulation of cryptocurrency specifically in ICO to avoid scammers and to protect investors from theft. It really needs a regulation in order for other investors to join the cyrpto and became the main stream of financial industry like stocks.

As far as I know there is no successful or popular token that is made waves. Ethereum is still the best in terms of smart contract. IF waves didn't change its strategy other smart platform will overtake waves and they will leave behind in the race.

Re: Ethereum VS EOS
by

Ethereum - POW(POS in future), is more decentralized, ...
EOS - DPOS, faster transaction,  ... (can you give me more?)a

The ICO for EOS ends in May as i know, and will it be able to beat Ethereum?
EOS have a  good whitepaper but until it has no real product, Ethereum still be a good choice for investment. But you can still buy EOS and have a good profit if it pumps.

Re: bitcoin or litecoin ?
by
blazingshockwave
on 21/04/2018, 06:09:32 UTC
Well? Let's hear it.

The answer is obvious, it is always be bitcoin even the developer of Litecoin knows it. That is why he call Litecoin as a silver and we know that the gold he is referring is bitcoin. Altcoins are also too dependent on bitcoin that is why they cannot defeat it.

What is the future of Litecoin? How long it may stay? is there any chance to be vanish it?
I don't think it will vanish easily. you should know that Litecoin is one of the most stable coin and one of the oldest coin that is exited aside from bitcoin. It also have an active developer and a huge community.

Re: Tactics When Market is Falling
by
blazingshockwave
on 20/04/2018, 10:17:09 UTC
Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks
Stop loss is important when you are holding altcoins but you have to be updated about the news because the market could go green anytime without noticing it. If you are in loss for about 50%, stop loss may not be a good solution unless you know that the altcoin you are holding is a shitcoin.

Re: 92 NEO Stolen

Sorry to say but I think you need to move on. Those stolen coins can never be back. External USB cannot save your portfolio unless you are using hardware wallet like Ledger Nano. This is the usual mistakes of others that keep their long term investment in a wallet that is not very secure.

Re: Are the Green Days back ?
by

For the past 24 hours, i’ve Being thinking of what is going on precisely, if i’m dreaming or it’s absolutely real but presently I confirmed i’m Seeing what i’m Seeing for real 😳. The market cap is really attractive compare to few weeks back while everything looks like there were disaster in the crypto community. My question now is, are we out of the messy period to the Green Days in the crypto market ? Your contribution is absolutely required. Thanks

Base on the chart we are in a recovery phase. It is also consider as a green market specially to those who bought in the dump for the past month. I'm hoping it will continue until it reach the new all time high record.

Re: Are there any altcoins that are independent to Bitcoin?
by
blazingshockwave
on 18/04/2018, 18:29:06 UTC
I am wondering if there are coins that are independent to the Bitcoin price? Like, if Bitcoin's value increases, the altcoin will not increase at the same time Bitcoin does. Or maybe, I am wrong that the price of Bitcoin doesn't have any effect to the value of altcoins? Please enlighten me with this topic. If there's any coins that are independent, what are the benefits that you can get in investing to that altcoin that you can't get in investing in Bitcoin?
Sad to say but there are no altcoin that are not dependent with bitcoin even Ethereum. As you can see in all trading platform for altcoins, you cannot see any platform that has no bitcoin pairing for a coin that is listed.

Re: Not as expected: Pornhub as Verge partner now accepts crypto payments
by
blazingshockwave
on 17/04/2018, 19:45:16 UTC
After weeks of anticipation and rounds of speculations, Verge finally revealed its mysterious partner, Pornhub. With this collaboration, Pornhub would now accept verge cryptocurrency (XVG) as a form of payment for its premium and on-demand services except recurring subscriptions.

The mystery has been finally revealed and it is no other than Pornhub. Yes, that’s are right! After weeks of anticipation and claiming the mysterious partnership to be cryptocurrency world’s biggest partnership ever, today the name was disclosed.

It is not a positive news. It is like supporting pornography. Conservative investors and even women will turn down this kind of investment. It will reflect in the price soon. I hope those who bought at high price can still recover.

This is hilarious Grin But do you think it has potential or any merit behind it?

Base on the chart it dump after the news came out. Pornography is a huge market but I think it is not good in terms of credibility of the coin itself. Many legit investors will avoid it. Can you imagine posting verge and telling the people it is a good coin because it has a direct partnership with pornhub? How will you tell it to a lady investors?

Re: Bounty managers.
by
blazingshockwave
on 17/04/2018, 15:35:03 UTC
Why do bounty managers on many projects not answer the questions of the participants? What about you? Have you asked them a question?
I don't normally send a personal message on bounty managers unless it is necessary. Make sure to read first the announcement thread before ask a question. Bounty managers are also busy doing their work and they have less time in answering your inquiries.
