It's not the pools fault. It's the coin. Difficulty is broken and won't be fixed until block 5400, which at the current rate won't be for weeks.
There are literally hours of no blocks being found on the entire network.
We did find 3 blocks. So the confirmation is also a coin issue? In that case i edit my message.
I transfered my coins many times and usually it took approx. 10-30 minutes tops.
Maybe I got lucky?
both tx time and confirmations are affected by increased block times I think. increased block times are as a result of increased diff from a reduction in hashing power after a multipool shows up and then leaves. that's whats going on with tx and confirm

i still dont know how people trust cryptsy. Slow manipulated transactions, random vanishing of your money. If a bank would just randomly freeze your money when you wanted to take it out or whatever, im pretty sure NO ONE would stay with them. I used cryptsy for about 2 days and immediately searched for a faster more honest exchange (Vircurex). Transactions are fast and my money doesn't get stuck in limbo when the market moves.

Nou, zal ik dan maar even namens twistelaar reageren? Ik wist niet dat je dit op je slaapkamer wilde zetten. Dan moet je echt wel bedenken dat het een hoop herrie maakt, en dat ik er niet naast zou kunnen slapen. Ik heb hem gisteren aan de telefoon gehad, om hem een beetje te helpen, en ik denk dat er wat info ontbreekt.
- Hij wil alles aanschaffen rekening houdend met een uitbreiding naar 6 kaarten, vandaar ook 2 voedingen.
- Hij gaat inderdaad risers bestellen, en waarschijnlijk ook een open frame.
- OS wordt windows (8.1)
- Hij wil ook CPU only coins kunnen minen, vandaar de 4770K. Daarom wilde hij ook iets meer en dual channel ram.
- En dat het moederbord niet kan ivm 4 pcie sloten had ik hem ook al verteld.
Let op, het is dus niet mijn rig, maar ik had twistelaar gisteren aan de telefoon en heb dus iets meer informatie.

Je moet jezelf afvragen op het interessant is om met je CPU te minen ten opzichten van de ASIC's gezien de energie kosten.
Is het nog aan te raden koelers erop te plaatsen? En is er een manier om ze zo min mogelijk geluid te laten maken? komt op mijn slaapkamer.

Je onderschat hoeveel herrie en warmte een rig maakt.

Denk er ook over na hoe je set-up ingericht moet worden, Linux of Windows (gezien de SSD zal dit Windows worden, anders kun je eventueel een bootable USB gebruiken), frame of systeemkast?
2x een 1000w voeding is wat overdreven tenzij je een eventuele uitbreiding voor ogen hebt. 1x een 1000w gold en 1x een 750w gold voeding zal al volstaan (scheelt weer in kosten.)
Let op dat je de kaarten niet naast elkaar kan plaatsen op je mobo (dit in verband met de warmte), dus PCI-e risers zijn ook nodig. Ik weet niet welke en hoeveel PCI-e sloten er op je mobo aanwezig zijn, dit is bepalend voor je risers. Een tussenruimte van minimaal 5 à 6 cm is wel aan te raden.
Verder veel succes met de bouw! 😉
