Re: This is the FINAL

Every month or so, new altcoins get listed to crypto exchanges

But I do not see their "intention" of getting listed in this situation of the market.

What is the point? They are becoming more and more worthless, even up to 0.0007$ or so?

If i overview the technological aspects, most of them are data platforms, service platforms, or reverse-ICOs.

I mean, is Blockchain technology even going to develop further so that it can be commercialized and standardized?

We see things as worthless if we think of their monetary value. But if we focus on their use, then that's a different story. Remember that ICO's do not give out rewards for the purpose of converting them into cash (which has actually become the main reason for bounty hunters now a days). It is the purpose for which they were created, a form of payment.

For those who are focused on the monetary side of these bounties, there was a time that ICO's blossomed so great that every bounty hunter had a smile on their face. Today is the opposite of those days simply because of market conditions. Flowers blossom but they eventually die. But more and more flowers will blossom and die just like those before them. It's a trend. We just need to know the right season when to pick the best flower. Just like bounty hunters or investors choose the right time to pick the best ICO and jump in during the best market condition.

Re: How do you measure the success of Bitcoin?
by

on 29/11/2018, 23:34:05 UTC
I see a lot of obsession with price on these forums. In my opinion, price is a distraction from BTC becoming a success. I measure BTC success on ease of use, levels of adoption, and scalability. Along with decentralization, these should be our obsession.

I also think we should keep the original goals in mind. We need to undermine and even destroy the relationships banks have wirh governments. Let's not forget they are the engine of elitism.

I'd rather see $100 btc that is accepted by millions of retailers and is used regularly than a million doller BTC that is a false store of value.

How do you measure the success of BTC?
Mass adoption or usage across the globe determines BTC's success. You are correct, Bitcoin can be worth a 100 bucks...or even just a dollar, if it is used massively in majority of nations, that would be a determining factor for success. In other words, it is not the price that would determine success, but the acceptance and the volume of circulation.

Re: Crypto market in depression

The crypto market is on a rapid downward spiral and almost all coins including so called good coins are down in prices. Is there any chances the market will recover? In my opinion, it takes the end of the year 2018 to recover the market. What are your views?
If you believe the market will recover at the end of 2018, then there's nothing to worry about right? This means there will be a recovery any time in the near future. That is how it works in this market. It's a seesaw ride or probably even a roller coaster ride to put it in better perspectives. Bottom line, a recovery will happen and everything will stabilize in due time.

Re: Bull run in december

We are 4 days from the last month of the year( December). There have been a lot of predictions of a possible bull run in December. The market prices are low right now compared to about two months ago.

Are you still positive there is going to be a bull run?
I have no other expectation for December but a bull run! The momentum may have been delayed but the bulls will run! I just do not expect otherwise. Though they may not be as aggressive as in 2017, half of that for 2018 will be great as well!

Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin?

Well, Bitcoin just bounced back 15%. Now I don't think this entails any end. We can also see a number of altcoins making some slight recovery which I expected to be gradual. It's nice to see some greens showing up. Probably a sign that the market has started to move forward. I pray this development continues on a longer stretch.

Re: I am surprised !!! I am confused what is happening right now.
by

every time I see my portfolio, surely I will always be surprised because the price of altcoin that I hold must always go down (red), and now the price of ETH down until the price of $ 380, I am confused what happened, but it has been almost 4 months market price does not rise- up, what do you think the cause of the market price is not rising?
The market is on a break. It is going through a cycle of highs and lows which is a common scenario in any market. There is really nothing to worry about (generally) because there will always be a recovery after every fall. We should know this by now.

I don't see airdrop to be as effective as it was before. But I think it still serves its purpose. It does attract many investors and bounty hunters into a project. Anyways, we do love free stuff don't we?

Ethereum will definitely recover. It has been one of the top coins for so long anyways and we cannot take that away! But I am not sure about reclaiming the second spot. Ripple is doing very well despite of the bloodbath. It certainly has become a battle between the two. But personally, ranking doesn't matter much to me. It's the value.

Re: Its Bitcoin a good way to save money for our kids?
by
bling-bling
on 25/11/2018, 22:55:48 UTC
Bitcoin or the crypto system as a whole was not meant to be a means of saving money. It is not a savings option because it is very risky and it defeats the very meaning of "to save." Bitcoin was meant to be a mode of payment or, as it is seen today, an investment. It does not function like a bank. So if you wanna save, open a bank account.

Re: I will not sell under 20.000$ ! Why you do ?
by
bling-bling
on 25/11/2018, 13:31:29 UTC
Why you more optimist bitcoin will growing again to $20,000? look now how drop bitcoin price and touch under $4,000 and maybe will lower under $3,000. I think is not hope for bitcoin become stronger and higher price.
You should really check Bitcon's history. This is one of those times wherein Bitcoin went on a huge fall. But after every fall it came back with flying colors! From ATH, Bitcoin is now about 81% down. Bitcoin does this really as shown by its history. Recovery does not come immediately but gradually. Again, history will show this. Also many of the experts (Like Thomas Lee) are still very optimistic about Bitcoin despite of the market bloodbath! So I don't see any reason for negativities.

Ripple and Tron are my current top picks! These two currencies have been on the news lately with lots of positive inputs. Other good options are XEM, EOS, and IOTA.

Re: Why do people believe and invest in fraudulent ICO?
by
bling-bling
on 24/11/2018, 23:51:06 UTC
That's what we call taking the risk. I don't think investors would ever know if a project is fraudulent or not in the first place. Coz if they did, why would they even invest into something they knew would be a loss?! This is simple logic and common sense.

Re: Regulation? Laws? Bans?
by
bling-bling
on 24/11/2018, 23:28:44 UTC
What are your concerns when I comes to Cryptocurrency and?   Regulation?  laws? bans?

Rules?

With ongoing regulation in the main fear of everyone. What are the key thoughts on this> what are some things you wish to see regulation on? what are some things you do not want to see regulation?

Would this effect how you use cryptocurrency?
Regulations are generally good so to keep things in order and in perspective. Also, these regulations are usually set to protect the citizens from fraudulent activities which is acceptable really. But I will not deny the fact that I do think that there are "other" activities going on behind these regulations (If you know what I mean...). Only time will tell.

I am eyeing to invest on Ripple and Tron. These two currencies have been quite controversial lately especially Ripple for taking the second spot outranking Ethereum.  Tron have also been noisy these past few days bring on the road to complete its roadmap. I've got a good feeling about these two top currencies and I will definitely invest in them!

Re: Does panicking made you feel ease? Or depressed?
by
bling-bling
on 24/11/2018, 04:57:42 UTC
When there are instances that when the coin you hold has turned to dumped hard, are you biting that move to panic sell all your coins? Do you feel ease that you sell all your coin when the dump starts? Or feel depressed when you dump your coins and turns out it almost x2 the usual price.

How can panicking make you feel at ease?! Panic itself implies negativity and usually does not end well. We should not come up with any decision based on panic because it will certainly cause stress and we may not be able to think properly.

by

What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019?

For no one it is a secret that this year for the ICOs was not the best  Undecided, but what do you think will happen to them by 2019?

Will it improve significantly?
I would be more optimistic about this and be more on the positive side. I am expecting that whatever was needed to be fixed with ICO's this year be fixed by 2019. I do not want to invite any negativities for next year. So, in 2019, ICO's will be great and many hunters will be definitely happy!

Bitcoin always recovers as shown in the image. I don't know why many of us find it so hard to understand?! I guess impatience really hits most of us because most of us wants something good to happen right now! But that is not the case. It takes time. It always does. 2019 will be a better year for the market. How do I know? I don't! I'm just optimistic about it.

Re: I may be wrong, thinking about the gov intervention
by
bling-bling
on 23/11/2018, 23:19:07 UTC
I'm not sure, but in such a market condition, who else does agree that the government used a hidden identity and joined the crypto market to accumulate a large number of bitcoins, then sold it to affect its price? Or can the gov hires a couple well known personality to rule the every day news and kill it slowly?
This is inevitable. The government is all over the place and it controls everything along with banks. These two entities are the most powerful and the influential of all! So all of our assumptions about conspiracies are quite validated.

Hey guys. Remember, in crypto sphere we can’t trust anyone! ICO rating sites are lying to us, you have to do YOUR OWN RESEARCH always! Remember this, and don’t let yourself be scammed!
All of us should know this by now. Almost everyday someone on this forum would post a similar subject on DYOR. This is very basic and shouldn't even be made as a reminder any longer. Common sense will tell us that this should be the very first thing to do in every endeavor.

Re: How the bankers make billions with the Bitcoin crash.. this i want to discuss
by
bling-bling
on 22/11/2018, 22:13:24 UTC

Hello everybody!

In the end, it was the bankers who pulled us over the barrel.

https://medium.com/@TokrexOrg_42680/how-the-bankers-make-billions-with-the-bitcoin-crash-d702be198471

Look at that..
Bankers are the smartest con around and the banking institution is the best con system ever used! Banks have been playing the monetary system for almost three centuries. They have now directed their radar towards the cryptosystem as they have seen and realized its potential to generate massive profit. These bankers are the whales (along with their government puppets) and we are just ridin' the waves!
